"eyewitness news" david spunt is in aston, delaware county where trump rolled out his plan aimed at making child care more affordable. >> thank you everybody. that's nice. beautiful. >> reporter: after thanking his daughter, donald trump took the stage in aston to talk taxes and child care. >> we need working mothers to be fairly compensated for work and have access to affordable quality child care for kids. >> reporter: at one point he held up a baby he spotted in the crowd. he told supporters he's determined to give birth adopttive and foster guard yens a chance to deduct child care from their income taxes. he also wants to create a savings account. >> our plans allows every parent in america to open up a dependant care savings account. families can contribute up to

we've learned also that hillary clinton will return to the campaign trail thursday. the democratic nominee has been rafting at her new york home battling pneumonia. president obama stopped for clinton in philadelphia. the president rallied with supporters at oval. >> anybody can fire off a tweet. everybody is a critic. but that doesn't mean you know what it's like to manage a glam crisis. the closest you can come to understanding what it's like is to be where hillary has been. i really, really, really want to elect hillary clinton. >> after his remarks, the president took part in a closed dnc event in center city. he then boarded air force one for events in new york. a 22-year-old had a special honor of introducing president at the clinton rally.

the incumbent mayor of wilmington will not get another term. he was defeated in tonight's democratic primary. among eight candidates. former development corporation executive director mike prisicki. he got about 24% of the vote a pregnant woman in the hospital after being shot in broad daylight. it happened in the 1800 block in east thayer street in kensington. two other men were also shot. nearby resident mary margaret said one bullet came how to her window. >> it could have hit me. i stay alive. i saw a lot >> the victims are being treated at temple a good samaritan comes to the aid of a man shot multiple times. it happened after 5:00 in the 2900 block of howard street. 33-year-old victim was rushed to hospital by a verizon working

driving by. the victim did not survive. police continue to look for the suspect. a lehigh county pastor is charged with possessing child pornography. monsignor john steven mraz was pastor at saint anne catholic church for last eight years. a friend fixing the pastor's computer found child porn. he contacted the church, which contacted authorities. >> he's in a position of authority where those children are going to listen to him most likely and that's very disturbing. >> in statement, the allentown did i seize, is suspended. he's living at a retirement home. authorities are on the trail of a bear in the burbs. there have been multiple sightings in montgomery and delaware counties in the past few days, ithan elementary

school in bryn mawr had been to locked down when the bear showed up outside. >> i was sitting here in my car. he popped out, just looked around, saw the big field, i guess and decided to turn around and went right back into the woods. >> each time the bear appeared in a populated area it ran away. you're asked to contact the police a bat removed from a home in cherry hill tested positive for rabies. officials say the homeowners found the bat in play area for their children in their basement on september 1st. there has been no report of direct contact between the bat and anyone living in the home. cherry hill residents are being urged to avoid any contact with wild animals and to make sure pet vaccinations are up to date. eagles rookie quarterback carson wentz has been the talk of the town >> even president obama had something to say about wentz. nicole brewer joins us now, this young man is on fire >> for good reason.

♪ a suspect is in custody tonight after leading police on a chase several hours in a stolen rig. started in bakersfield california and ended near palm springs. it's a company that transports hazardous waste. it was carrying nonexplosive nonradioactive material, no word on the suspect's identity. russian hackers released medical records of several team usa athletes that competed in the rio olympics. the hackers claimed dozens of american athletes had tested

positive for doping and that these metalists in rio regularly used latest strong drugs. that was quickly dismissed by the world's antidoping agency which said the athletes had been granted a medical exemption to take the drugs. law makers are taking aim at ticket botts. at a hearing in washington, they forced to pay scalpers thousands per ticket. producer of the hit musical hamilton called it computer rised cheater >> every time we put a new block of tickets on sale, they've invaded the ticket master system the second they went on sale and electronically purchased all of the available inventory >> they passed a bill to prohibit the use of ticket software. it's awaiting a vote.

it's a story we've been following, wells fargo accused of creating millions of fake accounts to meet sales goals, the bank announced it's cutting it's goals for its retail bankers. move comes as the company faces $185 million in fines, more than 5,000 employees have been fired. on the heels of safety concerns, surrounding the samsung galaxy note 7, new jersey transit is telling its passengers do not use those phones on its transportation. the safety advisory is urging customers not to use or even charge the mobile devices on board trains, busses, light rail vehicles or in stations. this comes after samsung recalled the phone following numerous reports the batters can explode causing fire. the consumer product safety commission told all users to simply turn the phones off. users of apple products who

that we'll hit the 90's and we do have much more comfortable weather to look forward to. a look outside shows a beautiful evening. temperatures are dropping. not cool as the past couple nights. we'll see temperatures drop into the 60's and 70's across the region. again, it's not a chilly night but comfortable. and humidity still relatively low but it will spike back up as we head into the day tomorrow. your weather headline still got the summer heat in place. it is still summer few more days, then a fall feel. how long does that last? also we need the rain. desperately need rain. it could turn wet briefly this weekend. we'll talk more in a moment. stormscan 3 is completely clear, nothing going on. quiet day for us, as we zoom down to the south, here's an area of concern. it's spinning, taking on a tropical look off the coast of florida, georgia and carolinas. that should stay to the south. this front. you see this down into portions

of the mid south starting to head east. should keep any moisture from this system suppressed to the south and this is also what's going to usher in the cooler drier air we'll feel later on. a look at temperatures across our live neighborhood network, it's 70 in syncing spring at the wilson west middle school in kutztown. 69. 70 in blue bell and 68 in wrightstown at the maquire air force base. that front i just showed you is dividing the cool from the warm. 65 in witchita, 49 in south dakota. 58 in minneapolis and the warmth hanging on in philadelphia. as the fronts approaches we start to push in that hot humid air from the south and w the that's what we feel tomorrow. it's living on borrowed time. once the front sweeps through, we tap into the cool, dry canadian air. tomorrow generally dry, this particular front doesn't have much with it. 3:00 p.m. maybe a shower towards

the poconos, stray possibly tomorrow evening, up through the north and west suburbs. the clouds will start to clear early thursday morning. we'll end up with sunshine and a much cooler feel to the day. also lowering humidity. tomorrow's warm and steamy. not quite as hot as last week. certainly we've lived through worst. it's a hot day. 90, we're in the awesome range with humidity thursday and friday. saturday, just a little warmer and a little steamier but a nice start to september weekend. what we have to watch is this next front saturday into sunday. this will start to push in it's not a very organized system but you can see the green here indicating the chance for scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm mainly sunday afternoon and sunday evening. tonight, no showers to talk about here. mostly clear, milder than last night. 68 your low, tomorrow a mix of sun and clouds, hot and humid. hit 90 for the high, but again, it's only one day. front comes through tomorrow. thursday, we'll see clouds, sun, cooler, less humid, a little bit
