lane but it is just out shoulder. construction conshohocken route 23 that right lane is compromised here and vine closed for construction, you can see west and eastbound is still closed there. then we have a down traffic signal route 30 westbound past route 73 and that is blocking left lane so make note of that. also some more, delaware memorial bridge, two left lanes are block 9:00a m to 3:00 p.m. fire damages a camden county church. >> "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch is live on the scene in pennsauken, justin what can you tell us about this fire in the church community. >> brooke and jim, good morning. mostly good news to report here. no injuries to fire fighters or civilians at this time but it will be sometime before the temple of grace ministries gets full use again of the church. looking at this fire investigation from overnight pennsauken fire department, was called to the church on the 7500 block of river road, at about quarter to midnight. church is believed to have

been empty at that time and here on the scene fire crews found heavy smoke rising from the church's lower left side, an early sign that displaced was burning from the temple praise ministry was burning from the basement, complicating fire fighters movement about that basement. second alarm was called, to raise manpower and get the fire under control, some ten minutes later, and church members got word they came to watch the efforts to save the structure. >> you know, it is sad because this is my place of worship. this is where i come just about every sunday. it is very sad. but as i said earlier the church can be rebuilt. >> and as you heard church members are eager to rebuild, routinely members are here looking about the the damage of boarding up that downstairs basement. again, no injuries to report and the cause of this fire remains under investigation, and we have learned from fire

officials that this building is 120 years old and at this time members are still working out plans for sunday services. live, from pennsauken, cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> thanks for that update. a franconia township man is getting a mental healthy valuation after a standoff with police on tuesday. the officers say that they were called to the home on the 100 block of bartlett caught to check on the 54 year-old man. police say a friend said the man was drunk, going to harm himself. officers said that they made several attempts to contact the man and they said there were weapons inside the home. they say after several hours, he came out of the home and was taken into custody without incident. pennsylvania shootings in philadelphia are under investigation this morning. police say one shot a man in the head around ten on the 1800 block of snider avenue. he died at the scene, there is no word on a suspect or what led to the shooting. police say they hope surveillance video can help

them track down whoever shot and killed a man in southwest philadelphia the last night officers say that they found a 24 year-old man, shot, in the back of his house in the 5800 block of fern wood street. tomorrow have would have been the victim's 25th birthday. people in north philadelphia, are looking for ways to end, gun violence. "eyewitness news" was at a public hearing at emmanuel institutional baptist church, community groups came together to look for solution, to end the continued violence in local neighborhoods. curtis thomas invited groups to take part in the hearing. well in, other news donald trump unveils a plan for child care while bringing his campaign to delaware county. republican presidential nominee

police have april arrest warrant for a university of north carolina foot wall player accused of misdemeanor sexual battery and assault. chapel hill sophomore, dwayne robinson who held a news conference yesterday, and said the attack happened on campus apartment in february. warrant says unc linebacker allen artis had sex when she was mentally incapacitated and physically helpless. unc suspended artis from the football team. in other news this morning two phoenix police officers are in the hospital after investigators say a man intentionally ran them down in his car. now warning this video is a little hard to watch. investigators say three officers were standing outside a gas station early yesterday morning, when a man drove his car straight at the them. two officers were hit, the

>> no, but this just popped out of no where. you wake up and say where did this come from. it has a low chance of development as of this same time yesterday but regardless split is, give you a sense where this track is headed we will long and short of it we don't have to worry about it. lets show you what is up with tropical storm julia right now. another name to add to the list here at the moment, it is just bearcally a tropical storm. it does appear that the system will essentially fizzle right around southeastern u.s. it moves further off to the northwest here with time and this is through tomorrow, so it really only has one last gasp of today, to stay as a tropical storm, present it will very likely weaken to a post tropical cyclone or depression but it is losing its steam quote unquote until it gets into georgia and then it will fizzle. but with that said even moisture associated with it doesn't get to us, you can see

the system swirling right now down to the deep south but cold front that is moving through the midwest, that is what will be our next wet weather producer but even still it doesn't look like it does very much. take a look by the time we hit five, even as early as 4:00 p.m., poconos, northampton county are seeing spotty shower or thunderstorm firing up out there. that is leading edge of the cold front. it is not impressive. it get to 7:00 p.m. all of two hourse lapse this has fizzled out. there is a strong likelihood we will see a drop of rain. i'm still allowing for isolated shower or thunderstorm tonight but only allowing for it. let's put it that way. i think you're fine. then you look ahead to tomorrow, it is looking very nice, less ant weather. hot, humid day, for instance but doesn't last very long, we are struggling to hit 80, cooler, dryer air back in place and then we will see better shot for wet weather by sunday. meisha, back over to you. good morning everybody. happy wednesday. look at this, construction on

i-95 south between bridge street and betsy ross has two right lanes blocked until right around 5:00 a.m. but take a look at this, line, trying to get through, lot of vehicles in the 5:00 o'clock hour and already it is many vehicles granted condensed in one drivable lane but for not even being in the 5:00 o'clock hour. so for those heading out there i-95 south between bridge street and betsy ross two right lanes are blocked because of construction until 5:00 a.m. construction in the morning can slow us down in the earlier hours. police activity here pulled off to the right shelledder 95 north near woodhaven road. we were seeing a string of activity and now down to a couple different cars. the that is pulled off to the right shoulder. you might see a delay but we are looking okay there construction conshohocken fey yet street southbound at route 23 that right lane is still compromised and we have more to cover including two accidents coming up in about ten minutes, jim and brooke, back over to you.

welcome back. we're expect to go see a toasty day unfold, temperatures topping off around 90 that flirts with the daily record even but this is a very brief return to a taste of july. we are eventually going to see much cooler, dryer air return very quickly. so that is some good news. looking at a wide zoom on storm scan, yep, what is this? you have tropics brewing. this is tropical storm julia that is not expected to be any kind of of direct impact to us but perhaps a travel will take you to the shore. heading out to pleasant weather overall next couple days. current water temperatures are generally speaking right around the mid 70's, depending on the buoy that you care to look at, we are at 74, 75 from lewis, ocean city ape long branch but this looks like

absolutely going to slow you town, we are seeing evidence of that on the roadways so already very busy out there. >> yes. >> it doesn't seem to end, construction, basically, it goes a long way. >> right. >> but we are going to at least find here is a pretty decent day overall at face value. if you have in the been in the 90's, you know, it is not as awesome. lets take you back in time. it is not like we have never seen this. we will experience another 90-degree day but we have, tallies to put up here in the last couple of months. august was a particularly busy month, with 17, 90 plus degree days. highest day was 98 degrees. no triple digits on the thermometer this year but regardless it is very, very toasty. we are still kind of on the dry side. at least for the who thus far, over an inch deficit of rainfall, and there is a frontal passage that is scheduled for later tonight but toss than the appear like it will do
