"eyewitness news" on the scene in the 1800 block of snider avenue. twenty-one year-old angela cologne was shot in the head, he was pronounced dead at the scene. philadelphia police are investigating following a spree of violence in kensington. five people were shot there in the past 24 hours. "eyewitness news" reporter greg argos is live at philadelphia police headquarters with more on these incidents, greg. >> that is exactly right philadelphia police sure have their handful especially in the kensington neighborhood over the past 24 hours, five people have been shot including the latest victim, a man we're told in his 40's

day. that big cool high, highs only in the 07's, much cooler and less humid. friday, sunny and comfortable with highs in the 07's again. the saturday should be dry. this next front will approach, staying off to the west through the day saturday but on sunday that front slides in and by sunday afternoon or sunday night showers and possibly thunderstorm could pop up. doesn't look like a wash out. we could use a wash out but a little bit will help. here's tropical storm julia. it looks like latest track takes julia out in the warm waters off the coast of the carolinas and that will keep the strength. so latest track keeps this a tropical storm right through the weekend before downgrading it to a tropical depression. that means a big risk for flooding downpours or coastal south caroline, or around charleston over 4 inches could fall as we head through end of the week. i want to tell you, we have a week to go, fall officially begins next thursday, september between the second at 10:21 in the morning. tonight we will start feeling like fall 64 with isolated

the dangerous discovery, that has parent and grand parents scratching their head, heroin found inside of a lunch box in a trenton kindergarten. those drugs spotted by a teacher in the hand of a five-year old child. good evening after one i'm ukee washington. aim jessica dean. "eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan has been following this all day and joins us live from trenton with more, cleve. >> jessica, this is the international academy of charter schools kindergarten through second grade building. even though some of the them may have been exposed to this dangerous drug police don't believe any of them consumed the heroin but they are working with the division of child protective services to try to determine how it got in that lunch box. >> it is terrible. >> reporter: question parents can't seem to wrap their heads around how could a kindergartener end up with 30 packs of heroin in his lunch box. >> i'm surprised.
