another chilly night tonight, same deal, 40's and 50's but no chance of rain today, nothing but sunshine, great news for that eagles game and kick off at 4:25, mostly sunny skies with the temperature right around 70 degrees by even of the game. we're talking about mid 60's. forecast high, couple degrees below average today, force time, we said that in a while, high of 72 for philadelphia 70 at the shore. sixty's in the poconos. the nice weather does change we are talking about rain, we will break it down in a few minutes, back to you. >> thanks, justin. wilmington community is mourning loss of the two fire fighters killed yesterday morning. they were killed yesterday. cherri gregg from our sister station kyw news radio is live outside tear firehouse with the latest on the other fire fighters hurt, cherri, hello. >> reporter: good morning, rahel, yes, two of the four fire fighters injured yesterday, are in critical but stable condition, and getting treatment for burns. the other two have been released but you today was very sad, here at station six,

take a look behind me, this is where fire fighters began arriving to work early this morning hugging each other and patting each other on the bag taking in the the reality that christopher leach and jerry fickes, two of their brothers are gone. aftermath of an early saturday morning fire, whiz began inside of a row home on lakeview road. a that is where lieutenant chris tore leach, a 14 year veteran and senior fire fighter jerry fickes, a 13 year veteran, for the through smoke, flames when the first floor and collapsed in the basement leaving them trapped. both men leave behind children and families, four other fire fighters were injured, two were in critical but stable condition, at crozer medical center as of last evening. the family that lived inside the home were able to escape without injuries and upon learning of the death of the fire fighters, were

overwhelmed by grief. >> it is breaking her heart to know that they passed away in her house. >> reporter: the entire city put flags at half have staff, will mink ton fire chief anthony good says that the entire department, their families, and communities, are in mourning. >> prayers. this is very tragic, a tragic day for the will mink ton fire department to lose two individuals, two of our brothers. >> reporter: vice-president joe biden were among many that contact i am to offer comfort to the grieving fire department and families of the fallen fire fighters. no word yet on the cause of the fire, and federal and local officials, continue to investigate. live from wilmington, cherri gregg for kyw news radio for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> cherri, thank you. in the state of washington police arrested suspect in friday's shooting that killed five people. the authorities took the suspect in custody near his

home without incident. brooks silva-braga has the story. >> reporter: police captured the suspect in friday night's mass shooting at a washington state mall. investigators say they apprehended arjon, early sat the day evening in oak harbor about 30 miles from the scene. >> i saw an individual walking, northbound on the sidewalk and i instantly recognized that is personally just viewed on my computer, and i did an abrupt u turn, hit my lights, pulled my gun and myself and reserve deputy eric rumbaum took the individual in to custody. >> possible shots fired, unknown number of victims, law enforcement advised. >> reporter: four women were shot dead in the make up area at macy's and a man died later. shopper fled in hidden changing rooms and other stores. >> it wasn't all at once it was more like a shot and two seconds later another shot. >> reporter: surveillance video shows the alleged shooter arriving at the mall unarmed, and then entering macy's ten minutes later with

a hunting style rifle. victims ranged from a teenager to senior citizen. >> our community suffered a devastating loss of five treasured members of our community hoff done nothing more than what we all have done, on any given day,. >> reporter: fbi searched for the suspect. brooks silva-braga for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". baltimore police say three gunman opened fire into a crowd shooting eight people including a three-year old little girl. a all victims are expect to survive. it the happened last night around 8:30 outside a block of row homes. the suspect as was taken away. baltimore police commissioner kevin davis believed the shooting was an act of retaliation for labor day weekend shooting when a man was fatally shot and two women were hurt. police released video of the deadly encounter of an african-american man that triggered days of sometimes violent protest

hundreds peacefully marched through charlotte streets to protest the shooting but as cbs news correspondent kenneth craig tells us video is raising more questions. dash cam shows officers surrounding the car yelling drop the gun. you hear a woman saying he doesn't have a gun. scott eventually gets out of the suv, as he backs away. you can continue to hear someone yell drop the gun, and then shots are fired. from another angle body camera video shows an officer pointing a gun at scott while the four three-year old stand outside his car. police chief kerr putany says ask the had a gun in his hand but that cannot be seen on the video. department also released a photograph of the gun, found at the scene and test revealed scott's dna and fingerprint on the weapon. police chief says officers were at the scene to arrest someone else but got involved with scott after they noticed him with marijuana and a gun. what we're releasing are the objective facts. >> don't shoot him. don't shoot him.

he has no weapon. >> reporter: scott's wife insists that her husband did not have a gun. family members say they were pleased the footage was finally released but they are not satisfied. >> we are left with far more questions, then we have answers and it does not make sense to us, how it is possible thins dent resulted in the loss of life. >> reporter: hundreds of protesters peacefully demonstrated for a fifth day on saturday. the city wide curfew remains in effect. kenneth craig for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". presidential, democratic presidential nominee hillary clinton is postponing a trip to charlotte scheduled for today. joe wagner has more on what both candidates are doing ahead of the first presidential debate set for tomorrow night. >> reporter: hillary clinton pick up a major endorsement from the new york times sat the day. newspaper's editorial board hails clinton as one of the most tenacious politicians of her generation. times say trump discloses nothing concrete about himself

70 degrees. warm with that sun and wind are pretty much on the light side, ocean calming down a little bit. cold this morning, 40's in the suburbs, upper 30's in the mountains but officially at philadelphia international we got down to 53 degrees, that is coldest morning we have had since june 9th but record low is 35 degrees, for philadelphia, setback 1963. it could be cold they are time of the year. we don't have anything terribly cold in our forecast but reason for cool down this weekend is drop in the jet stream, taking a dip southward, so we have that rush of thort wind, coming from canada that is knocking temperatures in the lower 70's, mid 07's where we should this be time of the year. with you still a little bit of warmth for the u.s., and will arrive for middle of the week. the we are back up to near average temperatures. right now still chilly. allentown, berks county upper 40's, mid 50's, in philadelphia. there that is cold air, kind of locked into our north across new england. mid 40's albany, scranton with warmth to the southwest, slowly pushing eastward over the last couple of days.

nice and quiet, storm scan three nothing but full sunshine, yet cloud around yesterday, because of the cold front and that has sagged south, where it is back in the clear conditions, and then as i mentioned the shore looks good next couple of days. a lot of sunshine. lower 70's today and tomorrow. watch out for rain returning on to tuesday, and then expect for first half of the day but clouds will stay tough throughout the entire day at the shore tuesday afternoon. high pressure is long, been over us, and it will do so, today, and tomorrow. but notice clouds, building in, from the west on monday afternoon ahead of the cold front bringing our next chance for rain. this is a good thing. we will get showers in here, it looks like after midnight monday, and into, early tuesday morning, so it is not a huge rain maker, quarter inch or so we will take it. we should see clearing skies from west to east tuesday afternoon, but comfortable today, look at the that, 50's to around 70 degrees for most locations early this afternoon, tonight another chilly night, keep those windows open, enjoying the refreshing air, mid 40's in

earlier, temperatures in the 60's before the game, kick off at 4:25, right around 70 in the sunshine but most of the day we will have air temperatures in the 60's because it is late game and getting darker early. seventy-two will do it for philadelphia, near 70 at the the shore, nice day along the coast, mountains are in good shape at 62 degrees. enjoy today. we will have rain for upcoming workweek and time it out in a few more minutes, rahel, back to you. >> thank you, justin. very sad news out of wilmington as community mourns loss of two fire fighters kill in the line of duty fighting a house fire. four other fire fighters were also hurt, cherri gregg from our sister station kyw news radio is live outside the firehouse with the the story, hi there, cherri. >> reporter: well, good morning, rahel. forty-one year-old christopher leach and 51 year-old jerry fickes made the ultimate sacrifice, yesterday while battling a house fire and this morning was a sad one for their comrades here at station six, as they came to work.

we saw many hugs, paths on the back as they absorbed reality that two of their brothers are gone. take a look at the video of the aftermath of that early saturday morning fire. it began inside of that row home on lake view road. that is where lieutenant christopher leach a 14 year veteran and senior fire fighter jerry fickes, a 13 year veteran for the through smoke, flames, but the first floor weakened and collapsed into the basement, trapping both of the men. they died doing a job that they loved, leaving behind, children, and family. four other fire fighters were injured, two were in critical but stable condition at crozer medical center as of saturday evening, and the tamly that lived inside that home escaped without injury and, upon learning of the deaths of the fire fighters were overwhelmed by grief. the entire city, put flags at half staff, wilmington fire chief, anthony good says the

guest of honor at an event honoring veterans in cherry hill. cherry hill police benevolent association hosted its first pass to dinner for veterans. they gathered at american legion post 322, hartnett is a coastguard receipt van who was d on the job. hillary clinton and donald trump prepare for monday night's first presidential debate. clinton picks up a big endorsement. new york times threw its support behind the nominee. clinton's experience as secretary of state, makes her better qualified to shape u.s. foreign policy then trump. meanwhile republican nominee campaigned in virginia. and is threatening now to bring jennifer flowers to monday's debate. former president bill clinton admitted having a sexual relationship with flowers, decades ago. trump's taunt is in response to nba owner mark cuban's plan to sit in the trent row of the event in the invitation of the clinton campaign. owe has been a vocal critic of donald trump. clinton and trump will meet for their highly
