breaking news a deadly house fire in northeast philadelphia. >> two people were killed in the fire fighter was hurt after flames broke out on bridal road in bustleton. "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch is live where the fire marshall is out investigating the cause, justin. >> reporter: rahel and jim, searching for a cause, neighbors say the couple that lived in that house were kind, quiet and just got the a daughter off to college. fire fighters say that they did everything they could to save that couple found on the first floor of that home. now, first a look at the flames, from the rooftop on the 9800 block of bridal road. this is i "eyewitness news" viewer video. the neighbor says he lives behind that house and banged on the back window to alert that couple to no avail. fire fighters launched a full box alarm activating 40 fire fighters, four fire engines, two lard trucks and two chiefs. crews contain that fire to the first level knocking it down,

in 35 minutes they say. upon arrival, crews report not hearing any fire alarms, that is under investigation and in their rescue efforts they found that man and would hand one in the foyer, other in the living room area. >> unfortunately, the bustleton section of philadelphia suffered a tragedy today, companies found two victims on the inside on the first floor, they brought them out and started cpr immediately. >> back live, you can see having damage to this split-level home on the scene fire fighters say there was a gas leak reported and it was contained but not sure if that is what caused this fire here. again that remains under investigation. that one fire fighter did suffer a minor injury, he was taken to aria torresdale. we are told his condition is stable. again, this fire investigation is all very much under investigation this morning and people on this block are very troubled by this news.

million-dollar bail, brown was arraigned in court yesterday. he was arrested in tennessee last month. brown, was charged this is shooting death of the gabby carter caught in the cross fire shot in the head in august. well, police made another arrest in the recent string of clown-related threats, now a 13 year-old from mays landing is facing charges. on monday investigators in washington township arrested two teenagers for making threats on social media. police say their post were like other threats that have surface add cross the country. investigators say the 13 year-old girl told them it was a prank. this morning north pen school district is responding to a threatening north pen high school leaders. school leaders say that yesterday, they were made aware of a social media post concerning several schools that would be randomly targeted tomorrow, by people, dressed as clowns. they say that officers will join security at the school. okay. good news for music lovers, musicians with the philadelphia orchestra settle their contract dispute just in time to take part in the second annual audience appreciation concert.

in the meantime let me she you very latest track. i will put it out there we are cautiously optimistic about this because we are still several days away and obviously with the kind of substantial change we will see in this track it was a significant change just within the last 24 hours. for new matthew is still a potent category three storm system with max sustain wind of 125 miles an hour and a slow northward movement at 10 miles an hour with minimum central pressure low at 962. take a look, this is still basically hugging coast as it moves north and then, rather than continuing north east it will make a sharp turn and head due east as it the starts to weaken because essentially the flow or jet stream is starting to flatten out and suppress it to the south. that is good for us as long as this continues to be the trend. so we have to keep an eye on it but we are optimistic cautiously right now. as we take a quick peak of eyewitness weather watchers are reporting we have mid to low upper 50's right now,

head up on that as well. jim and rahel, back to you. speaking of hoboken federal investigators are working to analyze data and video recorders from the train that crashed in the hoboken train station last week. ntsb says they could provide speed and breaking information, one person was killed and more than a hundred people were injured. also a lawyer for some of those injured people, say their injuries are permanent, and they plan to sue new jersey transit, new jersey transit officials have not commented, on the proposed lawsuit. there are also new concerns about buried battery parts containing lead in gloucester county. crews have been working on three properties in the burchly court property in west deptford. so far about 1700 tons of crushed car batteries parts have been removed. now officials believed that the battery waste was dumped decade ago from the matteo battery and recycling plant and covered up before the homes were built. now homeowners are suing. >> somebody had to know in this township, right from the
