"eyewitness news" report's natasha brown went to the scene where loved ones gathered to remember the victims. >> reporter: somber gathering at scene of the where two young lives were lost. >> it wasn't supposed to

happen. >> reporter: police say 18 year-old driver of the hyundai was rushing to the hospital, to see his father when he ran a red light on roosevelt boulevard. causing a crash that left his brother, 19 year-old osman zeylnov and his 16 year-old friend maggie lynn goloff dead. maggie died at the scene. driver's brother later died at the hospital. the force of the impact with the suv sent the car with the teenagers crushing into this light pole. >> very difficult to handle, at this moment. >> reporter: maggie goloff and osman zeylnov heart broken friend and loved ones returned to the scene of the deadly accident describing two teens full of life, a life cut far too short. >> they were really close. he was always there for everybody. it breaks my heart, that he is gone now. >> she always made the family laugh. she had a bright, beautiful orange hair and gorgeous smile, and anytime she walk if the room she always lit it up.

>> reporter: two families are left grieving in what investigators say began as a son trying to get to the hospital to see his father who had been robbed, beaten at gunpoint trying to deliver food, just 45 minutes before the deadly crash. the tragic series of events, meantime the 18 year-old driver's identity has this is yet been released. the five five-year old female driver in the suv suffered minor injuries, as did the 18 year-old driver in this case, and this car crash is under investigation as well as the robbery involving the 18 year-old's father. if will olney, natasha brown, for cb. "eyewitness news". philadelphia police are investigating the death of the teenager after a scuffle at a residential academy for students. the student died at wordsworth academy in wynfield heights the residential treatment center for juvenile was behavioral health issues. detectives say a 17 year-old tried to barricade himself into his room, staff member put him in a head lock while

a good samaritan you can see him jumping, swimming over to the woman as suv slipped under water. the woman was trying to back into a parking spot when she drove over a curb and in the water. rescuers did manage to pull would the man out, just moments before the suv sunk to the bottom of the upon. police say the driver was not hurt. fortunate that person was around. people in the pacific northwest are cleaning up after a rare tornado hit a beach town in oregon. as chris martinez reports people were able to capture video as it barreled toward the coast. >> dude that is a straight up tornado. >> reporter: home video capture the twister as it roared off the coast barreling in the northern oregon beach town. the twister's winds caving in walls, knocking down power lines and ripping away the siding of buildings and homes. >> i have been here for almost 20 years and i have never seen this kind of a storm. >> reporter: officials say

tornado's path was ten streets wide and moved directly through center of the town destroying at least two businesses and one home, and damaging numerous others. it is estimated more than 80 trees were ripped from the ground, including this one that toppled on to a building. many others blocked road in the small town of about 600 people. crews immediately began working to clear debris. and assess damage. >> only people allowed in the buildings, right now, for the next probably week or so will be emergency people, the police, fire. some of the buildings are, in such bad shape that we're concerned of collapse. >> reporter: friday's rough weather may be a preview of what is to come when remnant of the typhoon are expect. meteorologists say that the new round of severe storms could bring 07 miles an hour win gusts to areas like seattle than saturday along with the threat of more tornadoes. chris martinez for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". back here at home, nothing

morning live in the next hour. in other news this morning concerns are growing over the the water quality or air quality i should say at a wilmington elementary school. pulaski elementary is opened to students, aside for one rooms closed off. air quality issues came to light in august. school record show that mold was located, and cleaning did take place, but the issue was not entirely resolved and some say the issue, extend beyond mold. >> it is isolated but it seems to be a problem throughout the school, so, there is a problem with mice, is there a problem with mag on the, mildew mold and termites. >> these display some of what council woman cheryl dorsey-walker has been talking about. she has been critical of the matter since it came to her attention. inspectors towered the school on friday and she and the district have agreed that whether or not the school will remain opened will depend on their findings. a piece of royal real estate in philadelphia's east falls neighborhood has finally sold after four months on the
