just a few more minutes, joe, back to you. >> justin, thank you. updating story we brought you earlier, 28 year old father now dead after he robbed and shot right outside his own home. >> jan has been following this for us all morning, live at police headquarters back out to her, hi, jan. >> good morning, tragedy for this young man's family as you mentioned, 28 years old. police say he came home last night, in his rear driveway, two people approached him, robbed him, and shot him. all the while his family was inside including this young man's young child. take a look at the video. this all happened ride around 10:30 last night 5100 block of f street lawncrest. police say that 28 year old had just come home from shopping when he was approached by two men. now, before the victim died, he was able to tell police that at least one of those men pulled a gun, and they both announce add robbery, then for some reason the victim was shot multiple times. police found four spent shell casings next to his body. the victim was taken to temple

university hospital in very critical condition. where he later died. now, what's unclear, just how much the suspect got away with, because remember he did come home from shopping. busily do know they took the victim's gun, which he actually had on him at the time of the robbery. >> he was able to tell the police that he had a semiautomatic gun in his possession, and that was taken by the perpetrators. so these individuals are dangerousment not only do they have a gun that they used used o shoot the victim, they stole additional gun. now we know they have at least two semiautomatic guns in their possession. >> now, homicide detectives are taking over this case, it is unclear at this time if the victim was able to pull out that gun or if it was just taken as a result of the robbery. police are now looking for a number of surveillance cameras in the area and videos that could help. as for the young child, that child is fine this morning. not hurt. safe. as far as the woman who was inside of the house, that woman is now cooperating with

schuylkill eastbound at university ave. it happened around 12:45 a.m. this morning. and it is involving an oil spill. one person has been transferred to the hospital. and this tractor-trailer was actually caring an entire load of beer. so this is really slowing us down, because the eastbound side like i said is completely closed at university ave. you can re-enter at grays ferry right now. but because that far closure on eastbound side, moving into the 6:00 hour on a monday morning, you can bet that it will slow you down, you will have to give yourself really a lot of extra time. i would say at least a hour at this point. also, one lane is open on the westbound side. if you want to take alternate, you can take the eastbound side. vine to broad street. but i can tell you right now just because i've been talking about that alternate so long, that's also going to slow you down. back up eastbound schuylkill past the vine, pretty significant. showing some backup shots around the south street area. and it was literally bumper to bumper almost completely stopped. now we are looking at eastbound schuylkill past the vine, what we are looking at, seeing snail crawl, will get

"eyewitness news" on the 5100 block of s street after 11:00 last night, 28 year old victim just returned home from shopping when he was ambushed and shot in his rear driveway. young son was nearby in their home at the time. >> chiming video from alaska, shoot suspect on the run after firing on police officer, then stealing his patrol car. police companied released dash cam, they say the officer responding to reports every gunfire on sunday around midnight, when he pulled off, the suspect apparently ambushed him then drove off in his car. police found the cruiser few blocks away but so far no sign of the shooter, now, according to local cbs affiliate in fair banks, office nerve serious condition. commuters are on septa strike watch this morning. more than 5700 workers have said to walk offer the job. justin finch joins us live from the 69 street terminal in upper darby.

altogether, accident happen earlier this morning, schuylkill eastbound, at university ave. that had all lanes, all directions closed at the schuylkill eastbound and westbound. tractor-trailer caring beer, by the way eastbound closed, re-entering at grays ferry, now they've moved, that tractor-trailer out of the way so the eastbound side is getting cleared up as i speak right now, and the westbound side, all closed completely for little while, then one driveable lane causing still some significant backups, westbound side, right now, you are all clear. all clear. so all lanes open there. eastbound side, they're getting cleaned upright as i speak like i said they've already moved the tractor-trailer out of the way. eastbound side should be back to normal, sometime very quickly, right now the backups still are pretty substantial to give yourself extra 45 minute at least on the schuylkill right now. plus, we have overturned tractor-trailer, you guys, 422 westbound, past trooper, that left lane is block, you can see the flashing lights.
