morning. >> we do have the construction out there, 309 southbound route 663, the right lane block until about right now. so hopefully that should be clearing soon, also pa turnpike eastbound both directions actually westbound, also, between downingtown and valley forge, left lane is block there. and, also, some more, 42 northbound the ramps to 295 closed until right about now, jim, over to you. >> thank you, meisha. new this morning, police are investigating a deadly accident on the schuylkill expressway. one person was killed when a tractor-trailer and a car were involved in a crash on the eastbound lanes near montgomery lane around 11:30, there were no other injuries, the road was closed for awhile, but it is now open, in time for the morning rush. >> another deadly night on the street of philadelphia, this time, police are looking for the person they say shot and killed a man, in kensington. >> now, police say that shooting may have stemmed from an earlier altercation, "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch is live outside of police headquarters with the latest on the investigation. good morning, justin. >> brooke, jim, good morning, police have seen surveillance

video of this fatal shooting, and also, say that friends of that victim spent part of their overnight here speaking about his final moments alive on the day he waist born. looking at video from the investigation overnight, close to 11:30 last night, 24th district police got several calls to the 700 block of east allegheny avenue. there officers found a man age 30, shot in his upper back, and head, hours before his birthday. he was unconscious and with time running out those officers got him to temple hospital themselves. he died there, short time later. his friends, who saw it all, gave police tips that point to motive. >> based on witness accounts, this 30 year old victim was involved in a prior physical altercation with other males in the immediate area. and we believe that is the motive for this shooting. >> and back liver, police working this case overnight, we know they are looking for a

bad stuff. >> campaigning in greenbay, the republican nominee doubled down on rigged election claims. >> people that have died ten years ago and still voting illegal immigrants are voting. >> despite trump claims, most experts say voter fraud is extremely rare in the u.s. hena daniels, for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". meanwhile, a new cbs news poll finds clinton widening her lead over trump. 47% of likely voters surveyed say they'll back clinton, while 38% of voters support trump. two weeks ago clinton's lead was four points. >> the nominees will face-off one last time before voters head to the polls. the final presidential debate is tomorrow night. you can see at 9:00 right here on cbs-3. billy bush is now out after job, after those leaked tapes at his leud conversation with donald trump. nbc news fired the "today show" host after only two month on the job. bush was working for access hollywood back in 2005 when he

was caught on tape having that vulgar conversation about women with trump. now, once the tape was made public, bush said in a statement he was embarrased and ashamed of his behavior. >> in other news this morning, candidates in the pennsylvania senate race one of the most watched battles of campaign 2016, debated for the first time last night in pittsburgh. off the bat both canned dads ask if they would support their party nominee. toomey said he hasn't decided. democrat mcginty said yes. >> senator i will repeat the yes. yes or no, are you voting for and encouraging others to vote for -- >> as i circumstances i have not reached a point where i can endorse donald trump because i have so many concerns about his candidacy, the things that i have publicly mentioned, because i think he is a badly flawed candidate. on the other handy also know if he were president woe probably sign legislation that would be construct tiff, like repealing of obama care, and restoring ankles sanctions on iran. what i can't believe is katie mcginty can't criticize anything about hillary clinton including all of her lies.

>> disagreements don't cut it, with a guy who has invited russia to invade our allies, a guy who has confessed to and bragged about sexual assaults, and i'll tell you, waiting to be persuaded is political speak waiting for the next pole. dow support hillary clinton for president because she is going to work for working families, the same reason i'm in this campaign. and there will be issues that i disagree with secretary clinton about. we might talk about it close being guantanamo bay, for example, is one. i don't think we can afford to do that. >> now the candidates also talk about their own finances, and how they would vote on a supreme court justice. senator toomey and mcginty both denounced donald trump's claim that the election in pennsylvania is rigged. in other news this morning, police tell us a pedestrian was hit by a car in burlington county new jersey last night. it happened around 7:30 on route 206 in southampton township. the victim was taken to the hospital. no word on their condition.

>> the fbi released new sketches of the straw hat bandit believed to be responsible for 11 armed bank robberies since 2012. he's nicknamed for the large straw hat he sometimes wears. investigators say, he hit banks in montgomery and bucks counties, his last robbery this summer was in north wales. the suspect is a white man, in his 40's or older, approximately 6 feet to six-two, he is weighing more than 200 pounds, and believed to own or have access to a 1998, 2007 white silver silver add owe or gmc pick-up truck t has a cap over the bed. in the past he may have owned or had access to a teal bmw sedan or a dark colored volvo sedan. if you recognize the suspect, call police. the town council met last night in west york pennsylvania where the mayor has been centered. we'll have an update. plus the coast guard rescued

brand new images, showing the ultraviolet flow from the martian atmosphere in unprecedented detail. now, these images reveal dynamic behavior that had been previously invisible. nasa's made encouraging spacecraft arrived at mars in 2014 after a year-long journey from the earth. and take a look at this image of the moon captured by chopper three, last night. this is hunter's moon, not quite a full moon yet. you can see it has a little bit of wayne to it. viewing conditions last night were absolutely perfect. thanks to chopper three forget that beautiful shot. thanks to katie for bringing us a great forecast, i understand today? >> yes, looking pretty phenominal. that was quite a shot. kudos to the chopper pilot take that one. meanwhile, in the terms of the red moon, how had a happens, light is scattered. happens with the sunlight as well, that's why sometimes you see red, pink, yellow sunset with sunrises, but regardless expecting nothing but full sunshine today. may start off with some fog.

seeing it begin to set until in a couple of spot. a look at "skycam 3" off in the distance, liberty place, see another building just behind the contact building all lit up in pink in support of breast cancer awareness month, reminder, very prout supporter that far as well as cbs-3 to schedule mammogram. regardless temperatures off to very mild start. region wide, dew point pretty low at 60 right now. but the wind direction, this is key here, out of the southwest. even though it is a calm winds, that winds direction is where we're going to really see sort of this blow torch effect take effect where we end one temperatures substancely above the average. today's record high is 85. with it, we will cut close to it, but not quite get there. more than century old record. so it will be tough to beat as it is. meanwhile tomorrow, looks like better chance for that. you will see that in the seven day. wednesday's record high is just 80 degrees, i think we'll seeks seed that. warm pattern we men shot with the jet stream lifting far off to the north. one of the key things the jet stream is responsible for is separating cool from warm air.

and if it is off to the north, we're in the warm. that mean with this kind of pattern, we will see the temperatures spike anywhere 15 to 20 degrees above the averagement normal high today 66. we think we will be almost 20 degrees warmer than that. meanwhile storm scan is nice and quiet at the moment with high pressure in place, see nothing but sunshine again fog to start for quite a few of you. as that sun comes up it will help scatter out the cloud cover, we get you all the way to 84 degrees. so again flirting with but not quite tying the record. dropping to 64 tonight under just couple of clouds, and tomorrow that day that we do expect record breaking day up to 83 degrees, but again, that record is 80. so it will be easier to do. that will come thursday though, we start to see the cooling trends take effect here. there is two separate systems, two separate fronts that move in. bring the threat for not just more clouds but few showers thursday, friday, and behind that second system we will see the temperatures drop off pretty readily to even below average standards for the weekend. meisha, over to you. >> all right, katie, little summer, little fall. not bad at all. thank you so much. good morning, everyone, happy tuesday.

look at this. ninety-five south at girard, looking, i would say -- not bad at all. interstate 95, fairly quickly yesterday, seeing that happen today. in the 5:00 hour. already, way out in the distance here you can see how many vehicles are out there. quite a bit. overall, still holding steady, everyone traveling around as they should, i would say looking fairly typical for a monday or actuals. the boulevard pushing in the southbound direction, see how many headlights are out there right now, again another area that's looking pretty good. looking pretty typical. that being said, a lot of vehicles out there, letting us know it will get busy as we push more toward the 6:00 hour, specially into the 6:00 hour. blue route, headlights moving in the northbound direction here, past route one, what you are looking at there again, just sea of headlights and taillights, moving in the southbound direction. overall this is looking exactly as it should. so basically anywhere we are looking this morning, for your tuesday commute, if you get out within the next 30 minute or so, looking good. looking nice out there. we do have accident in hatfield however. 40-foot road at clemens road, heads up on that, plus construction out there.

295 southbound, that is now since been cleared. new jersey, 42 northbound, the ramp to 295, that has also reopened. so a lot of this morning construction we were talking about this morning is now starting to clear up and away which is good news, brooke, jim, back over to you. >> now for a look at newspaper headlines from across our region. >> from the cover of the reading eagle, health insurance premiums on healthcare dot gov are going way up. increasing on average, a whopping 32% for individual plans in the state. the pennsylvania insurance department approved the premium increases while siting concerns about companies pulling out of the healthcare.gov marketplace. >> bucks county courier times, warminster municipal well was shut down due to the presence of unregulated chemicals. it is now the first to be fully outfitted with a massive filtration system to remove those chemicals. the system uses grain ooh already activated carbon, costs approximately $800,000. and the navy is paying for it.
