more? >> in the next half hour. >> vice president joe biden is campaigning for clinton today in scranton. and later biden will accept the first ever beau biden award. it is named after his son who died of brain cancer last year. the award is in recognition of the cancer moon shot task force, biden has been a driving force to bring the nation's medical resources together, to find a cure for cancer. >> mike mcqueary might take the stand today in his whistle blower case against penn state, former assistant football coach says penn state retaliated against him because he testified against jerry sandusky and his child sex abuse trial. mcqueary said he witnessed sandusky abuse ago child, and reported it to the school. now, this is the fifth day of testimony before a jury in bellefonte. >> convicted former pennsylvania congressman, chaka fattah, scores small legal victory in his corruption case. judge throughout four bank and mail fraud charges based on post trial motions. fattah was convicted in june of orchestrating several fraud

schemes, to raise money for his campaign, and for personal spending, four aids, advisors, also convicted. no sentencing date has been set on fattah's remaining 18 counts. >> prosecute verse charged burlington township police officer with vehicular homicide following deadly crash. justin rodriguez off duty september 23rd when a car he was driving struck an utility pole on west front street in florence township. his passengers, 27 year old ariana williams of florence was killed, prosecutors say blood sample showed rodriguez drank excessive amount of alcohol. officer suspended from the police force without pay. >> welshing did you recently get a ticket on i95, the schuylkill or vine street expressway? well, philadelphia police officer issued the ticket, you could be part of class action lawsuit. group of drivers are now suing the department, because operation state police issue tickets on those roads. if the class action status of the lawsuit is approved, drivers who were ticketed by the philadelphia police department will be contacted by mail. well, he was shot five

times for trying to stop an armed robbery, now rittenhouse square good samaritan has been identified. still in the hospital this morning, after stepping into help a couple in danger tuesday night. police say the man was shot as he attempt topped stop 17 year old teen and another suspect from robbing a couple in the park. police say the 17 year old new the couple and the search for the teen now continues. the thirds day of the faculty strike at 14 pennsylvania state universities, and formal negotiations remain stalled. union members and student supporters marched on thursday, most classes were canceled. the faculty union says it wants a fair deal on issues like healthcare, and pay. the pennsylvania state system of higher education says it didn't formally negotiate with its faculty union on thursday, but we are told discussions continue, on so-called back channels. delaware officials are considering the recommendations of a school safety committee formed after the deaths of two high school student earlier this year. the 16 year old girl was

killed at howard high school technology in april. and a 15 year old boy was shot and killed, near the school in may. the safety committee recommends an increase in school resource officers. the committee also is suggesting the state provide more tools for teachers to prevent cyber bullying among student. >> in new jersey, senate has approved measure that would punish billionaire kyle icon from shutting down the trump taj mahal casino. bill would strip gaming license frost owners whose casinos close and prohibit them from receiving new license, for that property for five years. the strike at the taj by local 54 members lasted until the casinos last day. some speculate, taj mahal might try re-opening later with non-union workers. >> well, more than 150 firefighters battled this massive fire at a california mansion. >> this morning, one person is missing. we will tell you what's next for investigators. plus this:

visibility as a result of that, meanwhile, obviously there is something on the way here. and this is our next cold front. so the leading edge of it moves in later this afternoon, bulk of the moisture and bulk of the energy gets swept off to the north, and back into central pa, up-state new york where we will find heaviest rainfall amounts. but still going to end one some showers, possibly even thunderstorm out of this, it mainly happens at the p.m. time frame. i still think that the major sort of legacy this is going to leave behind though is the wind. there could be some minor damage from wind gusts that start to peak into the 30's here, this is jumping all the way to midnight, but winds begins to pick up as early as later this evening, and i mean talking through the better part of saturday. five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, by 11, 12:00. still seeing wind gusts 20's, 30's, possibly cup err of 40's. wouldn't be shock to see tree limbs come down, autumn leaps will start to come down, fortunately, just starting to see that foliage popping out there, but regardless that's what we say t does look like
