specially in the i had of the of the week, talk about that in just a bit. chilly morning in the 40's, from the weather watchers, everybody pretty much the same. because we have that wind which is mixing up the air little bit. so we can't get that really dense cold air to settle in. but surface, get to one. normally cool spot. but up in sanatoga, mike owe i, 48 degrees, not much difference little further south into downingtown, dawn, she has got 47 with mostly sunny skies. into new jersey, similar conditions this hour. we check in with kerry higgins in mt. laurel, new jersey, sunny skies, temperature right now at 46 degrees. and again, still some breezes up around 15, 20 miles per hour, windchill values, 30's. more fall color little closer to philadelphia. this is touch of, new jersey, out of chesterfield, ed connor seeing the trees changing color across the lake, another shot there, nice shot red and orange showing up. warm afternoon, cool night, perfect ingredients to get that fall color. and we will see that this

week, probably next weekend getting close to peak around philadelphia. 50 degrees, right now, palmyra cove nature park new jersey looking across the delaware, no humidity out there. so it is clear, blue skies out there, you can see the city skyline west breeze at 8 miles per hour. and nothing but sunshine today. nice and clear, eastern pennsylvania, delaware, and new jersey, yesterday storms, up across southern cal did a, strong storm, still has a lot of wind energy over the delaware valley look at the snow flying across northern maine main this hour. so cold air behind that system. but for us, we have the west winds today. sustained, 15 to maybe 20 miles per hour, and that's coming down off the appalachian mountains, actually warm up little bit. coastal new jersey temperatures should get to the 60s. southwest wind tonight, keeps us miler than what we've been the past few nights, still breezy tomorrow. talk about that foliage. getting close to peak, up in the poconos not there just yet, another wyche or so around philadelphia surrounding suburbs, starting to see moderate change in the

color. typically on target here, our average peak for the fall color around philadelphia, is late october. so next weekends, we will be close to that. and close to peak already up in to the poconos, which usually happens right around now. here is the set up. low pressure exiting our region, high pressure to the south, keeps us dry, little cold front that comes through overnight tonight. bringing few clouds, maybe shower in the poconos, that's about it. it is off shore tomorrow. back to sunshine, temperatures still in the 60s, but tuesday, we start to get that reinforcing shot of cooler air. back into the region. enjoy today though. nice rebound. look at that, widespread six 60s all across the region, even into the 50's. up in the poconos. so break it down for you. north and west, lehigh valley, low 60s around allentown, into reading, kutztown. probably in the mid 60s around philadelphia. and similar numbers into south jersey. remember we have the wind coming in over the land, so i think even along the beaches here, temperatures should top off 64, 65 degrees. then watch what happens. wednesday morning, areas in blew here indicates

temperatures 32 or colder. they get close to philadelphia. so i think a lot of the suburbs wednesday morning are going to be close to freezing, same deal again on thursday morning, so some of the coldest air we've seen this season coming at thus week, overall temperature outlook, from october 30th, to november 5th, keeps us above average. look at all of the warmth, expected to cross much of the united state, so average all of the temperatures up, still pattern i think will start warmer than average. 64 degrees for the high today. mile air, still breezy, tonight not as cool partly cloudy low around 50 degrees, and here is the extended forecast, nice fall forecast, mid 60s today, tomorrow, 50's for tuesday, wednesday, overnight lows in the 30's, next really best chance for rain holds off until thursday. rahel, back to you. >> justin, thank you. nice little dry stretch. time now 8:48. going back to ann evans at the cbs-3 traffic center and see how the roads are looking, hi, ann. >> hello. looking at the ben franklin parkway, look at all of the people on the art museum steps. they are therefore the jdrs type one diabetes research and walk. it is kicking off soon at
