"eyewitness news" reporter trang do is live on the temple campus with more on that video, trangood? >> reporter: well, jessica police say this started with social media posts advertising a gathering at pearl theater, several groups then broke off and unleashed a wave of violence around campus with several of the assaults happening right here in the middle of the street. >> disturbing video shows a chaotic scene friday night on temple campus. dozens of students were captured earned ising and attacking three students near intersection of oxford and carlisle street. joe's daughter was one of the victims. >> my heart dropped, my worst fear happened, i never ever wanted to see that happen to my daughter and to find out she was beaten black and blue over her whole body, stumped, kick in the head, and everything, it was just phenomenal, beyond my wildest dreams. >> reporter: temple's executive director of public safety charles leon says 200

kid and teens showed up at pearl theater around 7:00 after gathering was posted on instagram. things then took a turn for the worst. >> later on they started splintering off into different groups. they became violent. started pushing people, and both student, none in student, pushing, hitting that sort of thing. >> reporter: by the end, of it all seven people were a all thed including a temple police officer. that officer was hurt when a 15 year-old suspect of throwing rocks at passing cars threw her on top of her bike. sixteen year-old punched a police horse in the face. police arrested four teens in connection with the assault. >> his daughter is back at school but now forever change. >> she's always tested everybody. not up until now. >> reporter: students tell me this is second friday in a row where these mobs have appeared on campus. they say more need to be done to keep students informed. coming up at 11:00 i will tell what you campus police are doing to step up patrols. we are live from temple university, i'm trang do for

cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> trang, thank you. former pennsylvania attorney general kathleen kane posted bail in the last few minutes after being taken in custody, in handcuffs late this afternoon. she was sentenced to ten months behind bars for perjury. "eyewitness news" reporter joe holden is live in the courthouse in norristown with the latest on today's developments and breaking developments, joe. >> reporter: jessica, good evening. we will get to those developments concerning kathleen kane's incarceration in just a moment but first judge very certainly telling kane that she under mind the state's entire judicial systems, system of justice. others claimed she ran an office based off of espionage. these are allegations. dramatic scene inside montgomery county courthouse as disgraced attorney general and emotional kathleen kane is placed in handcuffs. >> backup, lets go. >> reporter: out back behind the courthouse a kay the yot i can scene as deputies pushed reporters and cameras back from the prisoner transport

look at how the cool air lurking just to the north and west. forty's this buffalo. lower 50's for state college. pittsburgh, and 07 in richmond but that will not last much longer as jet stream dives to the south. we tap in the cool canadian air and temperatures below average for next self days. we are right on the average hashing here yesterday and today but we will go below average in the the 50's tomorrow. we have not rebound much until friday when temperatures climb back in the the lower 60's. here's your freeze watch. this is not the tonight the but tomorrow night and early wednesday morning. it does not include philadelphia or surrounding nearby suburbs. should stay in the upper 30's which still will be coal. you will need coat in the morning. north and west and interior south jersey, northern delaware in a freeze watch and that goes again through tomorrow night into wednesday morning. so you'll feel chill in the air tomorrow during the day but real cold is tomorrow night, and any area in the freeze watch that blue shaded area could see lows near or even below 32 degrees. we will hit our generally hit our lows right before

sunlight, so, possibly in about 6:30 or 7:00 on wednesday morning will be coldest point in the week. expect areas of frost and protect any sensitive plants, if you still have plants on your front porch you want to keep alive cover them up or move them inside late tomorrow and into wednesday morning. then we have some rain to talk about. you can see we will start this wednesday afternoon dry, but thursday morning notice some snow on the front edge of this. it is cold enough thursday morning that area off to the north will pick up snow and maybe a sleet mixed in the poke these but for us it will be rain arriving by midday, doesn't look like a total, it is not heavy flooding rain, but it will be on/off rain through thursday afternoon and even into friday morning before you this system departs. much needed rain for our area, we could end up with half inch before things clear out. so we have got chill, then we have got rain, question is how does the weekend look? well, tomorrow looks good, mostly sunny, cooler, breezy, seven day forecast, here's the chill, 57 tomorrow. fifty-four on wednesday. the showers develop on thursday, and friday looks
