three philadelphia corrections officers are facing charges, for at ledge beating of an inmate, authorities say that officers milton gibbs, terence bailey and shawn lowe assaulted an inmate in june. it allegedly happened at a philadelphia industrial corrections center on state road in holmesberg. the three officers turned themselves in yesterday. >> he took this individual out of his cell, and began punching him, beating him, they dragged him to the central patrol area where he was further punched and kicked. the inmate lost consciousness twice. >> prosecutors say that the the three officers also tried to cover up the beating.
