if you could head out earlier in the 6:00 o'clock hour you will want to interstate 95, i-95 north at 452 up to the airport. we are note that bad. northbound side, it is equivalent to the southbound side. we are okay there accident here you guys, this one just came up, near elm street and another one we have been talking about now for the last, 30 to 45 minutes or so, accident in hunting park, north philadelphia involving a police vehicle, broad street and west pike street. we will have more in a little bit. rahel, back over to you. we will get back to that breaking news right now. two people including a police officer are in the hospital after this violent overnight crash. it happened at 4:30 an hour and a half ago on broad and west pike streets in hunting park. officer was respond to go a robbery call when cruiser and other car collided. both drivers were taken to temple hospital and they are in stable condition. eyewitness says the other person, ran a red light. also this morning another breaking news a woman is dead after a double shooting in

northeast philadelphia. police say that the victim may have known the gun man. "eyewitness news" reporter justin finch is live outside the scene of an apartment complex on welsh road, good morning, justin. >> reporter: good morning, jim. homicide detective are speaking with the man who was here with those victims with those shots, fired. he was here as suspect opened fire shooting another man and also killing that woman and in this parking lot here, just overnight here. we are looking at that crime scene at joshua house apartment complex off welsh road, shots rang out close to 1:30 and eighth district police were called here soon after. they found that woman jane do shot at least once in her chest, lying between two parked cars. she died here on the scene. meantime a man in his mid 30's drove himself to nazareth hospital and he was hit in his left arm and face but crime scene investigation turned up another dozen spent shell casings, several cars were hit and one bullet went through an apartment window.

no one inside was hurt. we are told that close to half of those cases were found by that woman an indication police say that she may have been targeted. now no motive yet but man with those victims but not shot is speaking with the detectives and they will also speak with that man who was shot as well. >> we also are getting information at this time that the shooter may be a known do er known to both of these victims, so homicide detectives are also at nazareth hospital and they will question the 35 year-old male as soon as he is stabilized by there is to see if we can get more information as to what happened here. >> reporter: now here back on the scene we are looking, police are maintain a presence here this morning. shooter escaped. did he getaway. he is described as a man between 5-foot seven and eight and weighing about 180-pound. again, likely known to all three involved. no word just yet on why they were here or what led to that

shooting at this time. rahel and jim back inside to you. >> thanks very much, justin. meanwhile another shooting this morning a man is killed execution style on his own street in west oak lane. police found the bullet riddled five two-year old on the sidewalk here on the 6500 block of north 17th street. just before 12:30. died five minutes later. police say he just returned home from the 76ers season opener. they hepp surveillance cameras from the neighborhood will help catch the culprit. police after rested 50 year-old regional phillips for stealing railing from the union league building in center city. they say surveillance video from monday captured phillips ripping a 6-foot section of the brass railing from the staircase causing the stairway to crumble. union league estimates it at hundred thousand dollars. robbery at boyds in center city was also captured on surveillance video. the suspect used a red suv to break front window of the store at 18th and chestnut. they then ran inside grabbing any items that they could throwing them in the waiting

opener at wells fargo center got underway wednesday night, a member of the sixers dance team stepped up to sipping the national anthem, many in the crowd didn't realize that she was the backup, seven streeter written songs for chris brown, ariana grande and others was supposed to take center court. the sixers had promoted it. but moments before, her performance streeter was pulled by the team and took to twit tore explain why. >> i'm at the 76ers game to inning is the national anthem and organization is telling me that i cannot because i'm wearing a we matters jersey. >> reporter: streeter chose the we matter injuries it as a way to express ongoing challenges faced by the black community. the national anthem has been a hot topic in the sports world from youth athletes to professionals kneeling during the songs as a way to bring attention to social injustices. in the the statement the 76ers had this to say. the philadelphia 76ers organization encouraging meaningful actions to drive social change. we use our games to bring people together, to build trust, and to strengthen our

certainly do so. jim and rahel back over to you. we want to update breaking news out of northeast philadelphia where police are searching for the person who shot and killed a with man outside and apartment complex. it happened on the 2600 block of welsh road at 10:00 this morning. a man was also shot and drove himself to the hospital. homicide detectives will now be interviewing him with another man who was with the victim, police say it appears it was in the random. west philadelphia store clerk is robbed at gunpoint and surveillance camera captured it all. the here's video from inside 55th deli market on the 1300 block of north 55th street saturday night. it shows the armed man choking the victim with his gun and then climbing over counter as he demand money from another worker behind the register. the suspect did get out with an unknown amount of cash and if you recognize the suspect police want to hear from you 115-686-tips. villanova university student accused of taking videos in public rest rooms is now out on bail.

authorities referred to this delaware county man 19 year-old vincent kaine did as up skirting. police found over 50,000 similar images and videos in kane's off campus bedroom. villanova students we have spoke with are understandably concerned. i felt disgusted, like someone would do that. i go to the school. i expect people to be courteous and not creepy or something like that. it is surprising, i guess. >> i worry about potentially being, you know, recorded, fortunately i don't have classes, at this time. it was a big relief. >> villanova university has banned kane from entering the campus. interesting start for philadelphia 76ers. >> a lot of buzz this morning about the game but not the what happened at the game but before tip off that has people talking. >> ♪ oh, say does that star spangled banner ♪

morning, nice and dry as katie pointed out we are going to get rain later so head up, for our evening commuters. morning commute you are slow here 95 south past cot hand it is pulled off to the shoulder not blocking lanes but we have so many vehicles on the roadways that can still slow you down. plus another accident huntington valley, davisville road at county line road head up as well. you can see we are still showing green around that area but we might get gaper delay. this did clear. because of that, delays that we are seeing on septa, manayunk norristown we have 20 minute delays that has been cleared but what you can expect is residual delays there. absolutely check your schedules on line and another accident broad street at west pike street so head up we are showing red letting you though you are traveling less than 55 . jim and rahel back to you. they are serving food and not charging anything. >> awesome. >> choking me up. >> do you want some tea.
