12:20 pm
january 1, ushering in the new year 2017 we would at best evening out high of four; on average anyway. so, you know, not obviously coming anywhere close than that, much more of the case of the beginning of the fall season, from where we stands in the middle. storm scan nice and quiet at this point, high pressure continues to be on our side at least up and down the east coast, clearly there is something going on off to the west though. that's the combination of the next system that does usher in this cold front. which will be the lynch pin for us to see very substantial cool downs take place toward the end of the week, that bridges in our next shot for wet weather t comes specifically through the p.m. hours of tomorrow. so, that's where we turn our focus next, we jump into thursday, starting off innocently enough here and mild, too, remember, i mentioned earlier in the show, we will likely only bottom out to just below 06 tonight. that's comfortable sleeping weather if you want to for go the heater you want to for go even leaving the windows closed for the night, you can get away with, that as we time stamp this out, notice, by this same time tomorrow, we are expect to go see some rain
12:21 pm
begin already over spread the region. now, it is important to remember this is a model, i think generally, from lunchtime on, you will see any wet weather. but could you see few pockets of heavier rain, probably thunderstorm along the way, too, so the key here tomorrow, is walk out the door with a umbrella because you will be thanking yourself later specially if you finds yourself maybe waiting for one of the regional rails or something like that toward the p.m. return. now, looking at the overnight, seems clear out nicely into friday, but the cold air really takes the place of the warmth that we will be building up meantime. bullet point version of tomorrow's forecast, scattered showers, i do think you will see thunderstorm in the mix here and there, and then the timing generally afternoon and toward evening. so, the morning commute should be fine. at least say from the septa issues that have continue here, but, it looks like through the p.m., that is where we ends up with the weather to impact you. foliage, basically, reaking right now. drive-thru the st. joe's campus, almost every single day, it is gorgeous there
12:22 pm
right now. where you have got some of the prettiest colors, specific to southeastern pennsylvania, you could still see little more vibrancy in the next week or so down through southern new jersey and delaware, but just lovely outside. perfect example of this is the pretty colors off in the distance, couple every kids running out for recess, too, don't you love that, at whitt fields elementary school in berks county. another view, further off to the north in monroe, where the foliage likes look it is starting to get past peak little bit here at pleasant valley middle and high school. meanwhile for the rest of the day, spending temperatures to rebounds as we've been mentioning, 73 degrees, tonight, not terrible, 59 for lochte we'll take t light winds and couple of cloud, not bad at all. as we look forward in the eyewitness weather seven day, clearly the warmest day of the pack comes tomorrow. actually flirting with record territory here, record to beat is 80 from 1990. so coming awfully close. then look what happens, bottom gets pulled out from underneath us, drop more than 20 degrees like that. >> you know what they say, beggers can't be choose i.
