plan ski drive. david spunt joins us with how the officer is doing tonight i in. >> ukee, jessica, an ambulance rushed that officer to einstei einstein, montgomery where he is listed in stable condition. he's expected to be okay and released soon. we're told tonight authorities want to know who would hit an officer and take off. >> whitpain township authorities tell eyewitness news they were called around 6:00 tonight one of their own was hit by a car near the intersection of north whales road and polaski drive. the driver fled. >> we saw you up the street a neighbor jumping up and down stopping traffic. so we knew something happened. >> lydia skillton lives next door and saw the scene unfolded. the officer was outlooking for a missing dog when hit and suffered a leg injury. he was alert when an ambulance took him to the hospital. >> we were all upset. we were running around trying to like see you know it was

concerns on election day. now meet one yeng man who sketch my fews septa strike. >> tajay stewart does not mind walking a round but his school is too far away to safely make it on foot. >> someone is telling me septa went on strike and i was like no can't be. >> his family is not able to provide him alternative transportation. so since monday at midnight when 4700 septa transit workers stopped operating buses, trolleys and subways he has not gone to school. >> i went outside to check if buses were coming and nothing was coming. >> t ajay is one of 30,000 students who rely daily on septa transpasses and they said in a statement, families across the city are making record fairy efforts to get their children to school during the strikts. the district acknowledged there may be some students in the same boat at t ajay making a swift resolution crucial sdmri hope it ends soon so i can go to school.

a roller coaster, tuesday he was arrested and wednesday he practiced and seemingly had support of the organization. and today, he was cut. huff is facing charges for illegal position of handgun and marijuana. he reported to work today at the novacare complex where he was released. the decision was made by top members of the eagles' organization a group that included jeffrey lurie, doug pederson and howie rosen. >> it's disappointing we have to stand here and do this and we're trying to build something and something that lasts and some of that means that we'll are to make hard decisions and all we can do is do what we think is right for the philadelphia eagles. now, josh huff releaseing a statement about being released. first, i want to apologize to mr. lurie and his family and coaches and teammates and all eagles' fans i'm sorry any action by me brought negative light to this organization. i want to thank the lurie family, howie, this community and the entire organization for

pushing in here. where you really lucked out with the front the worst of the rain missing us south across portions of maryland and down to portions of virginia south of d.c.. and but highs today before the front came through, again, leg fog, fewer clouds and 84 lewes, delaware, dover, and 81 cape may and tied a report 81 in atlantic city and philadelphia more fog, more cloud cover, 72 was the high here. still, more than 10 above average and not close to the record. temperatures right now 58 in the city still. 60s in south jersey and delaware and you can seat cooler air starting to filter in you can see it north as well 48 buffalo and 537 state college and scranton and albany and tomorrow's highs will be more than 10 cooler than today. that said it's not necessarily a cold day. 60 is where we should be right here in early november and nice breeze norm and west and brisk and chilly day.

wind dies down over the weekend. sunny, brisk and cool saturday. highs notice 50s and 50s sunday and again mostly sunny. nice weekend and lots of sun. you need a jacket especially in the morning. doesn't this look depressing here. 4 days now until the start of winter. 5 days until christmas and 59 until the new year and 62 days our average high temperature will only be 40 right now as 61 so a big drop as we head into winter. 50 is the low. for tomorrow mostly sunny, breezy, cooler, and nice november day high around 60. election day breakdown tuesday this will be beautiful day. lots of sun. temperatures 50s in the morning and 60s in the afternoon as we start to warm back up. great weather. you have to wait in line to vote at least the weather will not be a problem. better than having the umbrella. over the weekend, upper 50s.

. yesterday josh huff was on the practice field with seemingly full support from the eagles organization and now he's unemployed and looking for a team. tuesday huff was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a handgun and small amount of marijuana and team appeared willing to give him a second chance. but, today, they released him after spending a 48-hour period of evaluation.
