we did enjoy lots of sunshine today l our sunday look a lot like today? we can only hope so. reporter lauren kate casey, a peak at what we can expect on election day, as well. lauren? >> thanks, that the tasha. yep, chilly start to the day today. but beautiful start to our first weekend of november. we did drop to the 20's in some places across the delaware vale, starting off at 27 degrees in mount pocono, quakertown, 28 degrees, freezing mark in allentown and vineland, and one of the coolest starts so far this season in philadelphia, at 40 degrees there is morning, but under all of the sunshine, temperatures rebounded quite nicely, above average, 65 degrees our high in philadelphia today. sixty-four in allentown and we topped at 61 in wildwood, and overnight tonight, it is not going to be as chilly. temperatures only falling back into the upper 40's, along the i95 corridor, some low 40's, for the lehigh valley and berks county, only dropping to the 50's of parts of the shore. falling back, speaking of that, as we head into the overnight period, remember to

set those clocks back. and we will get extra hour of sleep, but of course, the sunset time only going to be 4:52, in the afternoon tomorrow. i know, sad, headed into the winter season, but at least get the extra hour of sleep. more sunshine in store for our sunday, of course a peak of the election day forecast, and looking a-okay, weather wise, in the long-range, we have pretty significant cool-down, but we're headed into november. so thousand dollars expect it. i'll let you know what high temperatures to expect as we head into next weekends in your full forecast coming up. >> lauren, thank you so. tonight the transport workers union is voicing frustration over negative zero over cents, now in its fifth day. union president, willie brown, says twu can't get anywhere at the bargaining table because septa has pin their hopes on getting a injunction to end the walk out. a judge will hear additional testimony on the injunction request on monday. septa says the strike threatens public safety, and the right to vote in tuesday's

election. the biggest issue remains pensions. >> and police do believe that seating was likely the cause after fatal two car accident in northeast philly. police say about 2:00 this morning, two cars were traveling at high speed before crashing into each other in the 1600 block of grant avenue. one of the cars burst into flames after hitting a utility pole killing the driver. the driver and passenger in the other car were both returned to the hospital. and both are expected to be okay. meantime, crews return to the scene today of yesterday's massive water main break that flooded a shopping center in east falls. this was the scene this morning, it looks much different now, workers have drained most of that water. "eyewitness news" reporter anita oh, has more on what the city plans to do to make sure this doesn't happen again. >> it is a mess, big one. >> reporter: day after water main burst and sent 6 million-gallon of water, gushing through the bakers center parking lot, clean up

i can't wait for that eagles game, and you will be up there. >> i know, it will be a big one tomorrow, an important one, eagles are two and a half point un dogs, division battle against the giants, benny logan, and taylor heart did not make the trip to north jersey, ruled out for the game. thirds straight week, eagles will face a team coming off a bye. big game for doug pederson. that's an understatement. the birds and giant both have four and three records. the eagles lost their last three games on the road, two division games, twice had the lead in the fourth quarter. they not afford to lose their third division game. >> you know weeks got to figure a way to get a win, pretty much all but one, we had a chance to really all of them, but really, we had control of the majority of those games on the road, somehow, didn't finish, or didn't come up with enough plays to get the win. so this is really big for us, it is our next game, but we got to figure out how to get a real win, especially here in the division.

temperature though feeling good, 63 degrees, little breezy at times, mostly sunny conditions, then we're going to warm things up into the middle 60s as we fast forward to election day, all important day as we head out to the polls. 65 degrees, looking good, no problems weather wise, and that also storm scan3, closest precipitation well up in up-state new york, really can't even find a cloud, that's because we do have high pressure in control. we have high pressure, we get stable air, singing air, keeps things contained, and as we head into the day tomorrow, high pressure just slowly shift off to the east, overhead, as we head into monday morning, so looking good, sunshine in store to kick off the work week, even into monday evening, high pressure still overhead. sticks around into election day, and nice, sunny forecast, deal with the frontal boundery but it won't be until next wednesday. so, we do of course enjoy the sunshine, but we do need some rainfall at this point. the drought monitor just getting worse, each time it is issued. now parts of new jersey under severe drought. you can see that on the scale

there, mid level, and other part of the state, even into pennsylvania, up into the lehigh valley and poconos, contend withing moderate drought at this point. but just for sunshine in store for tomorrow. we take that. 52 degrees, breezy sunshine at the poconos, down the shore, temperature low 60s, few degrees above average, most of the delaware valley tomorrow. 58 degrees in reading, the high temperature. fifty-eight in trenton. and new new york -- extended forecast looking good, monday abundant sunshine, chillier start, 40 degrees, 58 for the high. tuesday election forecast looking really good. we deal with the frontal boundery on wednesday, but unfortunately it is only going to yield an isolated shower or sprinkle at best. breezy conditions, cooler headed into veterans day friday, high temperature middle 50's, and then looks like we are going to change up this pattern, a we head into next weekend with fall really starting to kick in. >> oh, boy. i knew would happen sooner or later. >> staying in the moment, remember? >> that's our theme today.

campaign. three campaign computers stolen, saturday from a vehicle in northern liberties, good morning to you, everyone, i'm natasha brown. it is about midnight or so. our special hour long edition of "eyewitness news" does continue at this hour with major development in that case. "eyewitness news" reporter alexandria hoff picks up the story from here, live in the cbs-3 sat center. >> reporter: we learned very short time ago the laptops have been recovered and 27 year old male is in police custody. now, those who live near brown street in the neighborhood where this happened friday evening say that this is simply highlights an already aggressive problem. >> in the first case, the buick i can enclave will been smashed through, three back packs containing laptops and other items taken, victims have been identified at out of state staff members in the hillary clinton presidential campaign, who are dining in nearby restaurant when the break-in occurred, computers stolen may have contained
