good morning, everyone, happy monday. you can see, the cameras kind of coming in and out. just kind of hard to see. but show you this. it is a back up shot of an accident that's happening right now on interstate 95. pushing southbound direction before girard. so kind of weird camera. but i want to let you know it is really starting to heat up on interstate 95 pushing in the southbound direction, just take a look at how many vehicles are already out there. and going to be dealing with this through the morning rush. and we all know that septa for the most part just waking up with us you might not know great news, septa workers have now joined, and we have reached a deal. so the septa strike is over. so, in terms of all of the regional rails, what have you, that's going to be fate dollars out over the next four, six hours, so we still have to get you to the a.m. rush. it is looking bulls i out there. so another heads up, eastbound direction, ben franklin parkway moving toward the schuylkill basically anywhere on the vine looking busy right now, so going back to what we were talking about the good news, city buses, subways, trolley services will be as i said phased back in today.

first services return within the next four to six hours, so again, we will have to get through today's morning rush. full service restored by the end of the day today and tomorrow. >> this monday is off to great start for thousands of commuters. >> septa has announced it has struck deal with it workers ending the week long strike. "eyewitness news" reporter trang do live at the union headquarters in northern liberties with good news, and both sides just spoke, frank, good morning. >> good morning, rahel, jim. that's right, both sides just held press conference here at the union hall. so to announce that they have struck a deal. now, they are not discussing the details of the deal just yet, but we do know it is a five year deal. all parties are saying that it is fair to all. go straight to reaction from officials at the table. take listen. >> we are please in the morning to announce the tentative agreement with cw local 234. this will end the strike in the city and septa the city transit division certainly will be phased back in today.

>> everybody new there was election day. but we were reassured that it would be a little bit of inconvenience, but we weren't that concerned, and i knew they would keep talking and i always said as long as they're talking and they were talking, there was never walk out, as long as they're talking there was always a chance to get something done. and it was just right. and the right is right now. >> and that was congressman bob brady who tells me he was very concerned that this strike could affect election turn out. so he's very pleased with this deal. now the strike lasted seven days, both septa and the union had been preparing for a court hearing this morning, again, after septa had filed an injunction to end the strike. the city of philadelphia also filed its own injunction to end the strike for just election day so people could make it through the polls. most importantly, commuters this evening, could see some of their services back, particularly, the market frankford line as well as the broad street line. buses will take little longer

>> i actually have my clock socks on, to make sure that i change the clock in my car. >> i'm more impress that you can make your legs do that? >> how does this impact our internal clocks? doctor rob joins us now, more on that. good morning. >> doctor rob, always good to see you. it seems like old wives tail, when it gets darker earlier it, seems people set their mood. is in there any truth to that? >> seasonal affective disorder, even though we've gained an hour, for many of thaws hour at the end of the day is darkness. and our internal clocks triggered by the sun, by light. so for some people we wake up, it is dark, go home at night, it is dark. so some people get depressed and they lose energy and maybe eat a little more. so, unless exercise for the kids, so it is a gaining weight season that we have to watch out for. >> so how does this impact seasonal affective disorder. i know specially people, seattle, they don't see the sun a lot, always so cloudy out there, but that affect

them as well as this type of less sun flight. >> it does. they have done a lot of research in scandinavian countries. what happens with less sunlight, a lot of people like hibernation mode. some energize, active, but now that we've gone back to standard time, at the end of the day, we get sluggish, we get sleepy. winter weight gain. less energy, carbon hydrate craving. >> how do you know if you're actually experiencing symptoms of this sad, or if maybe you're just in a funk? >> well, that's a good point. so a loft times people with seasonal depression often it happens around the same time each year. so how do you know, maybe fatigue, or difficulty concentrating, if you have increase desire to be alone, you withdraw. at the end of the day you kinds of just hang out on the couch, eat have, greater appetite, especially for those simple carbohydrates. that actually makes you more sluggish. the other thing just greater need to sleep. but some people even have trouble sleeping at night

because their daylight views are all changed up. we have internal clocks. sun really affecter us, now with the extra darkness will make many people, about 10% of americans, a greater need for sleep. >> what can you do. >> one is a light box. so we have these. you know, it is almost like a treatment. so what happens is we don't stare at these, but you can buy these, and in the morning, for 15 to 30 minute, depending on the intensity of it, like sunlight, broad spectrum, no uv rays, and read the paper but keep this to the side of you it, will help alert you and wake your brain and body up. other thing you can do, alarm clock. >> to wake you up? >> yes, these are the alarm clocks, dawn, so it slowly wakes you up. the light intensity increases signal your body hey let's get going. need more vine minute d. talk to your doctor, get the levels, get the sunshine in the middle of the day when the sun is at its highest, that's real importantment and
