carabeo live in west depford, new jersey, good morning, jan. jim, rahel, good morning. yes, ma'am, here we go. polls are officially open in new jersey, they just that at 6:00 in the morning. and behind me here at the red bank school in west depford a hands full of people are already inside casting their ballots. very excited to get this election day underway. now, here in the garden state it does seem hillary clinton will take the cake, democrat has done just that since 1992, but across the river, in pennsylvania, that state up for grabs, both candidates spent a lot of time in swing states, yesterday, trying to get out the vote to the very last minute. take a look at the video. hillary clinton had a midnight rally where lady gaga and jon bon jovi joined her on the stage, that was in raleigh, north carolina polls show clinton tied with trump in that state. and earlier in the night, clinton brought the star power to philadelphia. bruce springsteen, bill clinton, president obama and the first lady joined her on stage outside of independence hall. clinton spent the day pushing her message one final time.

seen first of all a president of the united states, a sitting president, spend so much time on the campaign trail, and scavaging somebody else's opponent. this is really unprecedented. i think it tells you that the democrats are particularly nervous about turn-out in places like philadelphia. and if mrs. obama, mrs. clinton, doesn't bring the black vote in the city to up where obama's was, down significantly, just got real problem on election day, so get out the vote, really going to be concentrated democrats in philadelphia, for donald trump, it will be the western part of pennsylvania, where he has to get that, you know, that white vote, say the blue collar white, without a college degree vote, that's trending very, very strongly toward donald trump, two demographic, so different, jim >> push the get out to vote. hillary clinton of course has bruce springsteen, john bon jovi, katie perry, all helping her get out the vote in philadelphia. do you think those celebrity concerts actually work? >> i don't know.

i asked governor rendell when he was on the show, because i think a lot of people like to see a free concert. but then again, i have to tell you, i left me studio yesterday, and the lines were wrapped as far as could you see, people waited for hours to get in there. i have to think that if you waited hours to get in there, it is probably because it was bigger for you than just hearing brouse springsteen or bon jovi who, let's face it, you get to turn on to the radio and listen to, so i i have to think it is a sign of entheusiasm. but again pennsylvania, today's election day, right, not last night. wasn't like they could take you from the rail last night to the polls today. so will people wake up today and still have that feeling of entheusiasm that the president translate today them last night or will they go oh, good concert, i'm staying home. >> rich, what's a must win for trump, what's a must win for clinton at this point? >> florida, florida, florida, as the old saying goes. look, we will know tonight, i think if this race is going to be over early or late. here's what i mean by that jim f donald trump loses florida it will be a very early night f trump wins florida, it is going to be a very long night.

the notion there is this breakfast style movement that is happening. and that means suddenly now donald trump is going to be an extremely competitive in michigan, extremely competitive in pennsylvania which is already feeling competitive for him. i would say dig in, kids, get some coffee, because it will be a long night. >> one more quick question. if he wins florida, say, hypothetically, how important do states like north carolina come? we've heard so much about north caroline in recent days. >> i think if he wins florida he wins north carolina sort of pattern there that emerges, and it will be a very, very different night. so, when florida ends, when they close florida, and they report florida, remember two, different time zones. when all said and done, we will know i think really where this election is headed, of course, also the possibility, florida could be too close to call in which case again it will be a long night. >> dangling chads from the nine 90s. >> oh, don't up miss the chads? got to miss the chads, flight. >> oh, back 16 yearsing. >> we could all use a nice election night, flight.
