>> demonstrations against donald trump have continued into cities across the country while some protest haves remained peaceful. portland turned into full blown riot. protesters smashed door windows, took baseball bats, car windshields, set treason fire. police began launching smoke grenades, and using tear gas to break up the crowd. trump issued his first tweet as our president-elect last night, claiming the -- blaming the media foreign siting the protest. >> meanwhile, center city was the scene of anti-trump protests in philadelphia last night, about a thousand demonstrators block broad street, and disrupted the evening rush hour. there were no arrests, organizers say they'll keep protest, and they say they're making plans for a march at president-elect trump's inauguration in january. >> well, the time now, 5:35. in business news this morning, how zombies cents are thanking america's veterans. >> and why tech investors are concerned about the president-elect. money watch's jill wagner joins us live now, from the

new york stock exchange, morning, jill. >> reporter: good morning, jim, jan, posse election rally continues on wall street. the dow jumped 218 points yesterday, closing at a new record high. it is a different story though for the nasdaq. it fell 42 points. tech stocks, like amazon, google, facebook, are falling. silicon valley overwhelmingly supported hillary clinton. there is concern about on line privacy under trump administration and worries about global trade. for the most part, though, investors seem encouraged about president-elect trump and his plan for infrastructure spending and tax reform, banking stocks got major boost there, surging to levels not seen since the financial crisis. now, there is speculation trump will ease regulations on the financial industry. futures pointing to bit of mixed open today. and it is veterans day of course, now many restaurants are saying thank you. vets and military entries can get a free entry at olive

some of the foliage here of the moon, and we are going to be seeing an extra super moon, in the days ahead, specifically, sunday night, into monday, so that's where we turn our focus, see nice clear sky in the next couple of nights here folks. if you want to really great view, the super moon, the extra super moon; going to be the view for you here again, sunday night into early monday morning when the full moon is actually going to be at it clothes he is distance to the earth, mere 221,500 miles away. but you're going to notice how huge it looks. it is not only looking like it is 14% closer, but also, 30% brighter, because of its proximity to the actual earth ' surface there is will be the largest super moon since 1948. so, it is worth the view. if you are up with us at this time of the morning anyway, you'll be upright at the perfect time to view t so hopefully get the opportunity. storm scan at the moment right now looking nice, wide zoom. do have cold front that's crossing through, off to the north, it is bringing the bulk of the precipitation, looks like it will actually be

world war ii veteran is having breakfast this morning with president obama. how cool is this? 108 year old army sergeant, bill moore, from hatboro, is one of 200 veterans dining with the president at the white house. the st. joe's prep grad joined the arm any 1940, at the age of 34. helping to free concentration camp prisoners in europe. as a thank in you 2004, france gave moore its highest military award the legion of honor. >> 108 years old, god bless him. veterans being honored in media delaware county today, 57th annual veterans day parade start off at 11:11 a.m. dozens of worlds war two veterans, various high school marching bands are par at this time path g, hundreds every people line the streets, wearing their red, white and blue, waving flags, and thanking servicemen and women for their service to our nation. >> elsewhere in delaware county, upland borough recognizing wounded war vets in a very special way. councilman william den and is the force behind two parking spaces at the upland shopping
