area, joe holden live in monroe township where dillan richardson turned himself in. good afternoon. >> reporter: good afternoon there is all ended around 5:00 this morning, police in virginia had sent this little four year old girl, annabell richardson, was in grave danger. again, all ended peacefully. right now, dillan richardson, annabell's father, and jacqueline mckenna, the four year old grant mother, in custody in the police building behind me. >> monroe township police say at 5:00 this morning dillan richardson surround end end after week long amber alert. virginia police on november 9th, triggered the alert after they claim richardson fled with his four year old daughter annabell. investigators say richardson did not have full parental right, and good out before a drug test that was court ordered. dillan richardson was alerted would be headed this way. >> earlier this morning about 5:00 a.m., mr. dillan richards son brought annabell into

contender of the new trump administration. >> i don't know exactly, but i'll be -- >> alabama senator jeff sessions arrived at trump towers this morning where president-elect donald trump and vice president elect mike pence, are meeting later today, to discuss cabinet positions. among the candidates being sus dollars were secretary of state former new york city mayor rudy guiliani and former us ambassador to the united nations john bolten, former trump come pain fans newton recommended as treasury secretary. guiliani, former prosecutor; said to be the leading choice for top diplomats, but limited foreign policy experience. trump transition officials are also asking about having some of trump family members get high-level security clearance. his three adult children could get access to america's top secret, but they are also expected to continue running trump's businesses. that could be a problem for trump, who criticized hillary clinton's side to the clinton charitable foundation, as pay

location-based systems, which now, thankfully, i am happy to report starting to make its full retreat. little hint of breeze picking up in its wait. take a look at storm scan3, isn't it nice to see it emptying out on this, we can expect to see even hint of sunshine breaking through, what is generally a cloud deck, linger through the rest of the day, but i do see as i look off to the west here, off the cbs-3 skydeck, there is some blue sky trying to move in, ends up moving out nicer than it currently is at the moment. currently temperatures are also rebounding very efficiently, into the low 60s here, so exceeding expectations, we're at 54 degrees in trenton, 45 degrees in mount pocono, we have, in fact, had chance to exceed the expectations at philadelphia international airport as well, so right now, at 60 degrees, but upper 50's also expected down the shore. and we will keep those upper 40's in mount pocono, where, thankfully, clouds are starting to retreat. we are looking at the showers also doing the same. so, lingering clouds for sure for the rest of today. pleasant stretch, though, looking ahead, not to mention

warming trends, that goes along with that. but, in the wake of a warming trends, comes a significant cool down, yes, the possibility of snowflakes. that is very location-dependent as well, so i'll tell how has the best shot to sigh that later in the show, guys, back into you. >> thank you, katie. investigators are working to track down who ever viciously attacked a woman in mt. holly overnight. authorities say the 37 year old victim had been stabbed multiple times on west monroe street. she was flown to a hospital in trenton and at last check was list in the critical condition. officials say the to appears to be a case of domestic violence. they have identified a possible suspect but have not released that person's name. former eagle josh huff has hearing at a camden county superior courtroom this afternoon on drug and gun charges, stopped for feeding on the walt whitman bridge and police say he had a handgun, hollow point bullets and marijuana in his car. he is out on bail right now. the eagles released huff after his arrest, now a member of the tampa bay buccaneers

near toronto yesterday, the pilot zig-zag to avoid hitting a object in the sky. two flight attendants suffered minor injuries. no passengers were hurt. >> well, for the third time since last thursday, tsa office verse caught someone trying to car a gun, onto a plane, at baltimore's washington airport. tsa officers say they found loaded gun in the hands bag of smyrna delaware woman bwi thurgood marshall airport yesterday. 9-millimeter gun was loaded with six bullets, including one in the chamber. the woman told investigators she didn't realize the loaded handgun was in her bag. >> bit of scary thought there. >> yes. >> dry weather, drought conditions, across the south, are fueling an explosion of wild fires. >> the fires have burned tens of thousands of acres so far, with no ends in site. correspondent mark vast man shows us some of the hardest hit areas this noon. >> reporter: more than 07 wild fires stretch across eight southern states, those fires have already charred more than 100,000 acres, and forced evacuations. >> oh, i'm concerned.

it was just top of the ridge. now it is down to here. it is unnerving, it is scary, it is terrifying. >> in north carolina, flames are threatening at least 1700 structures. >> we have california wild fires in north carolina. >> more than 20 wild fires are burning in north carolina, many of them, investigated for suspected arson. >> the way this fire is, it is totally different. this is the worse thing i've ever been involved in. >> from the flames, massive plumes of smoke, so large, dozens every counties are facing air quality advisory. view from nasa shows extent of the smoke. some of it has started to drift into the metro atlanta area. >> i've asthma, 12 year old twins, being outside with them, i've noticed them covering. >> nearly 4% the southeast is facing drought. including three quarters of alabama, and half the state of georgia. >> i've got fate that they'll get it out and we will be okay. >> another sense of the

things are clearing out. i've seen little blue sky in several of the field cameras, not everywhere. >> hey, we need the rain. >> we really do. this particular system didn't do much. >> exactly what it did. we had this light drizzle, pretty much in in center city for the most part. now that that system is pulling away, we are left just with a smooth sale for the next couple of days. there is, how much, another system that's going to start to nudge our way for the second half of the weekend and we see quite a transition, a lot of ups and downs that come along with the forecast. let me start it off by getting you outside. outside to the shore shot here, really pretty looking shot of ocean city. you can see, at least few beams of sunlight trying to peak down here, helping to brighten up, and cause reflection on the water there. but, still, more clouds than anything. so, yes, not the prettiest afternoon, but at least sliding down here, and now, down near cape may county, for example, that's where we ends the up with some of the rainfall from this morning, some of the steadiest

rainfall, further inland go, at least at this point it is the brightest camera i could find in our live neighborhood network. but yes, very evident blue skies trying to make its way through the cloud cover, and we should start it clear things out with time here and as the day progresses just maybe little bit breezy, but certainly looks like very nice afternoon. behind what we had tidwell this morning for some you, so the heaviest rain at this point, clearly, even now north of new york city, pulling away, see high pressure take it place and bring with it some very, very pleasant days ahead. so, really, there you have it, right in the headline, very pleasant days coming our way, behind that system, high pressure does nudge in, we will still see some residual cloud cover tomorrow, rebounds back into the 60s, and that's the story, essentially here, quiet with a modest rebounds with every passing day. thursday, low 60s, high friday, mid 60s, and it looks like that continues into the first half of the weekends. but there is a new system that comes our way, big changes that come along with that are noticeable. you go from well above

average, about 10 degrees above average friday and saturday, to the approach of this, not only the jet stream dipping south, and brink withing it colder air, but storm system that comes along with this. track is always critical with these kinds of systems. but there is a pretty decent chance that we, at least, see showers, and if we get enough cold air to match up with this track, we could see some snowflakes. specifically, in your northern counties, so, you are talking up near the pocono region, where it looks like this could come saturday night into sunday, since the timing could work out for us, that is why we would likely see snowflakes. otherwise likely chilly rain for the rest of us. we will need to be fine tune this as we get closer. figure why not, what better time than to show you the winter countdown here, just 40 days until christmas, 36 days until the astronomical start of winter, solsus, and new years 47 days away. our area temperatures right now, cracking the 60 degrees mark in philadelphia, did so in reading, as well, meanwhile the seven day if you like the warmth it has got something for you here, 66 degrees, friday, saturday, also sunny,
