day started with a check on weather katie and meisha. >> good morning, just like that, back at it. picking up another work week together. the roadways are looking okay, they're nice and dry, a lot of construction to talk about and a downed tree. >> very windy conditions, as well, a lot of people have leaves flying all over the backyard at this point, if you did rake or maybe you wait today do that, you have got more to do obviously here. but it is still very windy, it will stay that i way, which we get to. start it off with a quick view of storm scan3, and locally, we actually have couple of flurries flying around out there. specifically across central and northern new jersey, also toward the lehigh valley seen little hint of activity here in the last few hours, all lake enhancement. the storm itself, more specifically the front that crossed through the region over the weekends, long gone. but then you have this system trying to rotate away reducing us to wrap around moisture, winds flow around, that the winds tunnel effect between low and high pressure, winds advisories posted until 7:00 this evening, national weather service continuing to extends the time that this

actually will expire, because it looks like that winds will just hang on. go by these values, folks, these aren't the actual air temperatures rather, the feels like. you have got to factor in with pretty gusty winds, it will be theme all day. officially only shooting for high of 45 degrees, that's winter at its finest, factoring in the winds again it won't feel much better than at best 40. bundle up adequately, a day that calls for the winter scarf, hat, gloves, whole 9 yards, winter coat as well, at least it will be dry, say, for a left over snow shower here and there, most specifically up near the mountain us terrain. eventually, we're going to pull away from this, i'll tell you what the rest of the pattern likes lick just a little later in the show. >> almost socking to the system when you weak up and just so different. thank you so much, good morning, everyone, happy monday. so this is where we actually have the downed tree. so talking about how windy it is outside. this will be some of the things probably one of the many items that we will see on the roadways because the winds

linger owl there until later 2016. rahel, back to you. meisha, thank you. we begin this morning with breaking news, a two alarm fire giving firefighters all they can handle in woodbury, gloucester county. our photographer giving us a live look at the scene right now, 700 block of to, fire broke out in a home around 3:45. the winds real problem for those firefighters, but the fire spread to go two other homes. at this point, we know at least three people were taken to the hospital. no word on their conditions, but again, you are looking live at a winds fueled fire in woodbury, gloucester counsel i. more breaking news, to tell you about, port richmond, barricade situation wrapped up short time ago. police called to the 3,000 block of aramingo avenue, just after 2:00 this morning, over a man possibly armed with a gun. the man was arrested just after 4:00. we're learning more about shoot that happened in millville, new jersey last night, the victim a juvenile was shot around 7:30 at oak view apartments, in cumberland

county. millville police took the victim to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. police have not yet gotten the victim's age or gender. new in brewly town section, shooting victim tells police he was shot during robbery on north dover street. he ran home to his house on turner street to dial 911. the 22 year old man was shot in his left thigh, left hand. and is in stable condition. and, this morning, a manhunt is underway in texas. >> that's after san antonio police officer shot and killed in a ambush. correspondent hena daniels tells us investigators have lee -- released picture after person of interest. good morning, hena. >> good morning, that shooting happened right outside a police headquarters just before noon yesterday morning. police say detective benjamin benjamin marconi, 20 year veteran of the force, sitting in his patrol car during traffic stop. that's when a car pulled up behind the officer and the driver got out, walk up, and fired several shots. the shooter then got away bye

driving through the police headquarters parking lot. detective marconi was returned to the hospital where he later died. >> most families would be celebrating the holidays. we will be burying one of its own because of ultimate october of cowardice. >> and take a look, this is a picture police have released of the person of interest. it is not clear whether they think he's responsible, but police also released a picture of the possible suspect's car, which is a black sedan. jim, rahel. >> we know this was not the only case of an officer being shot in the line of duty over the past 12 hours watch can you tell us about that? >> police officer also shot in what investigators are calling ambush in st. louis, missouri, shooting happened around 7:30 last night, investigators say the officer was sitting in traffic, when another car pulled up to him and fired several times. the officer was hit in the face and is list in the critical but stable condition. a manhunt is underway for the

shooter. meanwhile, in florida, police officer was shot during a traffic stop in santa bell, south of fort myers. this happened around 8:00 last night. police say the suspect drove by, and opened fire. they were able to arrest the suspect, after he barricaded himself in his home, and had a gun fight with police. the officer was treated and released. usa today reports before yesterday's shooting the officer listed the total number of officers killed while on duty at 127 for just this year. jim, rahel? >> thank you very much, hena. >> and the investigation continues this morning, into a possible burglary at city hall. police say sunday around noon, a worker at the christmas village reported seeing two men trying to climb through an open window in the building's first floor. the worker said he yelled at them and weld for help but the suspect were gone when he returned. so far police have not reported any damages or thefts. passengers on plane bound from philadelphia

international airport to since that the bring taken off their plane and put on another after reports of smoke in the cabin. the smoke was noticed just after the plane backed away from the gate, but before it took off. investigators did not find any evidence of smoke, but the move, they say, was made out of abundance of caution. and this morning the ntsb trying to figure out what caused a plane crash that killed a man. the two passengers planes went down in bass river state park in new jersey just before 11:00 yesterday morning, only identify the victim as a 75 year old man. >> well, hundreds lined the street for the 40th annual mayfair holmesburg thanksgiving parade. they bundled up and waited to see the marching bands, and performers head down frankford avenue. parade is a family tradition for many dating back generations, many also say they wanted to give back to the community by supporting the local businesses. along the strip. the eagles have an extra day this week to think over the rough showing against the seahawks out west. russell wilson through for 272 yards and a touchdown, seattle passed the eagles 26

back on "eyewitness news", a man is dead after being shot two times on the 800 block of morrow street in wilmington. it happened about 1:30 yesterday afternoon. twenty-six year old victim died at christianna hospital. anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call wilmington police. >> train derailment in northern india killed more than 13 people, injured about 50 others, derailment happened sunday morning in the city of conquer. officials say the train was halfway through its journey with derailed.

110 bodies have been identified, 97 of those have been hatted dollars over to the victim's families. it is not clear what caused the wreck, but authorities say a full investigation is underway. >> arrest is made after anti-pipeline protest pushes its limited in north dakota 400 protesters against dakota access pipeline as em philadelphia north dakota north of their camp. sheriff spokesperson says the demonstration was more like a riot, the intense stands off between police and protesters happened as officers tried to block the group from crossing a bridge in the area. donald trump's administration continues to take shape. the president-elect met with several high profile candidates over the weekend. on sunday mr. trump met with former new york mayor rudy guiliani set to be cop ton tender for secretary of state. met with both donald trump and mike pence for the same job. announcements were posted in the trump administration, comes as early as today. >> the time now is 4:43. >> and katie is here with a forecast. that will a difference a weekends makes?

small chump change here. you have gusts in the 30's almost region wide, little less, little more in places like mount pocono, depending on location. here's what's up. yes, storm system drags the colds front through saturday night. long gone. you see how it is still rotating away, because of that, lake effect snow picking up specially of lake ontario, lake erie, more than anything it, kicks that wind tunnel effect in, low pressure retreating, high pressure trying to take it place, walking between the skyscrapers in center city, always feels a lot windier there. that's where this is coming, from same sort of idea. gusts still peak as high as 45 miles per hour today, high only 45, not going to feel any better than if you are lucky 40 degrees, dropping down to the freezing mark tonight, it lift, it is cold, and our winds advisory does remain in effect until 7:00 p.m. t gets a little better with time here, still pretty breezy tomorrow. travel day wednesday, not bad at all. watch for few spotty showers on thanksgiving. meisha, over to you. >> all right, katie, thank you so much. good morning, everyone, and happy monday to you.

so yes, talking about windy conditions, and when we're seeing because of it is a couple every downed trees out there, the first one, schuylkill eastbound before gladwynn. see the crews out there work to go get out of your way. you can also see vehicles going past, starting to tap their brakes, so we know it will get very slow in the 5:00 o'clock hour. heads up. another downed tree, where we have it, 611 eastbound at barrett road. one lane blocked there, because of that, so if that's in your neck of the woods, windy conditions have brought some things into the roadway now. also new jersey 42 freeway northbound at creek road. actually looking pretty good here for a monday mornings looking very calm, very quiet, on 42, we know even in the early 5:00 hour, this is when it starts to heat up little bit. i would say just because of the windy conditions. so give yourself couple of extra minutes for things blowing around and maybe blowing on to the roadways. construction route one at oxford valley, all lanes block until five. re-enter at oxford valley

toys "r" us are pulling a tonka truck off the shelves, after washington state couple says one of them caught fire. the truck is the tonka12-volt ride-on dump truck. the now the couple bought it at toys "r" us store, put it in the back of their pick up. they say it caught fire setting their truck on fire. the store's given the couple refund, and is investigating to see if the fire was an isolated incident. >> don't want that happening. time now 4:50. time for check on business news. >> money watch's jill wagner joins us live this morning from the new york stock exchange, jill, good morning. so, apple apparently dealing with its own smart phone battery issues, but not nearly as dangerous as samsung. >> reporter: well, that's right. so, and he will will replace batteries, into the 6s models, because the phone's unexpectedly shutdown. apple says the defect only affect the small number of phones that were manufactured between september and october of 2016. apple trying to reach the customers that they pose no safety risk. people obviously very

what a gorgeous view on a monday morning, nice, clear sky, do not go by just this picturesque view, though, folks. there is a lot that looms, that you can't see in a picture. chill, wind, you have to be ready for that when you walk out the door, and if you have been maybe just sitting in the living room, and hearing the winds blowing out your window pains, and the leaves fluttering across the walls, yes, it definitely is still windy. it stays that way here today.

so what we experienced yesterday continues for yet another day, area of low pressure tries to blow away. storm scan at this hour, there are couple of flurries flying across portions of the garden state and specially as go into far northeastern pa. so, we could still have gusts into the 40's here today, no problem. that makes it feel obviously heck of a lot colder. gusts tonight into the 30's. gusts tomorrow, probably still into the 20's. so gradually at least starting to get little less harsh for us, but very much running theme for us the next two days, by wednesday, much calmer, big travel day for so many hires with the holiday upon us, maybe evening sprinkle wednesday, and probably spotty shower on thursday, but overall, by the time we hit the ever important holiday it looks i can with the etagere lynn much more in our favor, meisha. >> already seeing the windy conditions affecting our commute. couple every downed tree, a lot blowing around out there. so, it can absolutely slow us down this morning, and we're seeing, that the good news, one of the downed trees this morning, the schuylkill
