>> good morning, boulevard southbound what we're looking at approaching the schuylkill. you can see, starting to builds, levels right now, as you approach, the schuylkill, and then jump on to the schuylkill, starting to slow down little bit. heads up on that. blue route headlights moving in the southbound direction at media spatter more, looking there, looking okay, both moving in the northbound and southbound side. we do have few accidents outside. so let's talk about those, the first one, overturned vehicle here, actually route 13, at bristol pike, and edgley road. so, this is one of those areas that just popped up. our accident, newest accident on the roadways, if you are in this neck of the woods, give yourself couple of extra minutes, this is that overturned vehicle, buster road, skippack pike, heads up, been out there for little bit now. just headed out the doorway you know that levels are starting to build basically anywhere we are even in the smaller side streets. accident here, route 422, eastbound, at route 100. this will absolutely slow you down depending how long it is out there. we are still seeing some green on the censor maps behind us. but, if i were you, i would

give myself extra 15, 20 minutes, then construction old lincoln highway closed between 213 and gilliam avenue 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. weekdays, do you have use that alternate at bellevue, back to you. >> thank you, update on breaking news we've been following all morning in trenton new jersey, every firefighter in the city is battling a massive blaze. >> officials say the fire spread to homes, cars, even power lines. "eyewitness news" reporter trang do live on the scene where the fire is still not under control this morning, frank, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, rahel, jim. that's right. this fire is still not out, even three hours later, after it started, we just got an update from deputy fire chief of operations, he tells us this now involves nine homes, and that three of those homes have collapsed. we also got some other updated numbers. three cars also involved, as we were talking about, this was pretty dangerous situation, all around, not just because of the house fire, but also because the fire brought down some power

lines, on that particular street, those power lines then went down onto some cars, and those three cars now destroyed. but take a look, still, very active scene, so many firefighters here as you mentioned earlier, 30 firetrucks, all firefighters in the city, of trenton right now, as well as some mutual aid from surrounding counties. but this is brunswick avenue. just where you see that cluster of firefighters, that is where weinberg place s and there are nine homes on weinberg place, all nine of those homes involved in this fire. we actually got the chance to speak to one of the displaced residents, he describes to us just the scary moments when he realize that the homes on the street were on fire. >> well, so far, so lucky, you know, wake up, almost filled with ice, like in two minutes, because, you know, everything like -- >> just very precarious

situation here, still, also, more updated numbers for you guys, so far, we're hearing that seven people were displaced, and two people were hurt, and transported to the hospital. those numbers could change, those are the numbers we have at this point. also not only did the residents on world meeting of families err place were evacuated but also homes here on brunswick avenue, and as we mentioned earlier, the power and go cents is turned off. several blocks around this area. so, a very dangerous situation. as firefighters continue to battle this blaze. but for now, live in trenton, i'm trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> quite a large scene it seems. trang, thank you. another intense fire overnight. still in new jersey. this one's in woodbury gloucester county. flames broke out around 3:45 this morning, and quickly grew to two alarms. the blaze took hold of the 700 block of horter boulevard. after the fire spread to two nearby homes, main house collapse collapsed, about 15 minute after firefighters arrived. fire officials tell us six people were taken to the

hospital. no word yet on their conditions. stay with us here on "eyewitness news" or check cbsphilly.com for updates. new this morning, suspect is in police custody following a barricade situation and the port richmond section of philadelphia. "eyewitness news" in the 300 block of aramingo avenue, where police declared the barricade around 2:00 this morning, police tell us this was a domestic dispute that involved a gun. there were no injuries. police took the suspect into custody around 4:00 a.m. and we are learning more about a shooting that happened in millville, new jersey last night. the victim, a juvenile, was shot around 7:30, at the oak view apartments in cumberland county. millville police returned the victim to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. police have not yet released the victim's age or gender. >> developing story this morning, one police officer killed and three others are injured, all in separate shootings, that took place yesterday in three different states. correspondent read bin john with the latest on this officers shot in these targeted attacks. most families celebrating the holidays.

sapd will be burying one of its own. >> san antonio police chief briefing the press after what authorities describe as targeted deadly shooting after officer sunday. >> everyone's worse nightmare. never want to see anything like this happen. >> police say 50 year old detective benjamin marconi killed in his patrol car outside police headquarters had just returned to his vehicle to write ticket for a driver he pulled over when another driver pulled up behind him, got out approached the window. then shot marconi in the head, reached through the window, shot second time. then fled the scene in what police believe was black sedan n st. louis another officer shot sunday in what authorities are calling targeted attack. the 46 year old sergeant ambushed when police say a vehicle pulled up next to his marked car, and opened fire. >> this officer was not involved in a traffic stop. this officer was not trying to pull this car over. >> the officer was shot twice in the head, but is expected to survive. police say that the suspect later killed after again shooting at officer. also, in missouri, officer shot in glad stone near kansas city. governor asking for prayers for that officer. and, in florida, yet another

our current winds speeds back here in the local area, still pretty brutal. up into the 20's, sustained winds speeds guys. philadelphia, 20 miles per hour, but the gusts anywhere, but specially northwest of the city as high as 45 today. now, we have to look at the tropics believe it or not. actually tropical depression number 16, just forms, expected to go due west however into central america. and as it does so there is possibility that this not only to tropical storm maybe hurricane status, next name on the list would be otto, if it does in fact form. but again do not expect that to be any threat to the united state right now. partly sunny, cold, windy, high of 45 today. it won't feel better than the freezing mark, actually where we officially drop tonight. not as harsh tomorrow, but still breezy. wednesday looks good. maybe evening sprinkle and then spotty shower or two thanksgiving. out of the roadways, bus just evidence of how much that wind can really impact our commute. so, boulevard moving in the southbound direction toward the schuylkill. this is what you are looking at. and then once you jump on to the schuylkill, headlights moving in the westbound direction, this is what you are looking at there. eastbound side, looking little better than the westbound side. westbound side you are starting to slow down little bit. you can tell by the shaky camera how windy it is outside. plus we have an accident out there, on 422, there we go, 422 eastbound at route 100, and we have eight got construction between sanatoga route 724, starting around 7:00 a.m. today and tomorrow. jim, over to you. >> thank you, meisha. now an update on breaking news in trenton, new jersey, flames tear through a half a block of homes reducing some to rubble. >> several people were forced out into the cold, and at this hour, the fire is still burning out of control. "eyewitness news" reporter tran dough just got update from the fire chief, frank, what are you learning? >> well, rahel, jim there is fire is going into its fourth

hour, and it is still not out. fire officials dealing with some very difficult conditions. not only freezing out here, but also the winds that we've been seeing, but take a look, here is the scene here. just off of brunswick avenue. now there is happened just around 3:00 on weinberg place, started at one home, and quickly, quickly engulfed the entire block of homes which includes nine homes. now the fire chief of operations tells me that three of those homes have since collapsed. in addition to that, three cars that were parked on that street, also, destroyed. now, what made this so much more difficult for firefighters to fight here is that these conditions brought down some of the power lines in the area. those power lines then sparked those vehicles on fire. so just took a dangerous situation that pse&g had to come out here and cut off the electric and the gas, which is why several other blocks around this area were also evacuated, in order to keep

people away from that very dangerous situation. still almost four hours later very active scene. take a listen to the fire chief as well as some of the displaced families. >> fire spread to five houses, three houses on on the ends collapsed, other six hours cents are in the state of collapse. we have three cars at the end of the block, that were totally destroyed. there are no injuries to firefighters. dow know that seven people were displaced, and two people were transported to the hospital. that's the latest number i have. >> this was something that you don't think that's going to touch you, and you see something, you know, you see something like that, outside of your house, and you know you go into panic mode. you don't even know what to do. the only thing you actually want to do is get away. get as far as away from everything, why we lost everything, you know, we work for our lives, we lost

everything. >> just some heart breaking reaction from some of the people who live on that block, we're told, that this fire moved so fast, that some of the men who were living on that block, actually, came out with nothing on. i mean, they just had to get out of the house. flames were so high that they just had to get out any way they can. even though they didn't have any clothes on, again, this fire is still raging here. we are expected to get closer look, the fire chief will take us down there to see. so, the situation is getting little better. but still, very precarious at this moment. for now, live in trenton, trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". thank you, frank, for that update. and another overnight fire to update you on, woodbury, gloucester county, flames began in one house, quickly carried over into two other homes. fire quickly grew to two alarms on the 700 block of porter boulevard. fire officials tell us, six people were injured, no word on their conditions. but of course we'll stay on top of this for you and bring you update as soon as we learn more. >> we know that philadelphia
