okay, david. what has it been like. >> reporter: been a great the day mall opened at 6:00 o'clock this morning and will be opened four more hours. it has been a calm day full of savings. sales start black friday in the early hours of the morning. the gloucester premium outlets, packed. >> it is currently, 1:25 a.m. in the morning and i got the here around 9:00. >> reporter: shoppers said no to sleep and yes, to deals. some as high as 65 percent off. >> the parking lot was crazy filled. we had to ride around for 25 minutes, just to get the a spot. >> reporter: as sun came up doors opened up at cherry hill hall. there we found shoppers who started black friday, on thursday. >> i came out, around 7:00 o'clock last night and been going straight through. and i got almost everything done. >> reporter: kelly molt theon came along with her family including little riley who only wanted to do one thing, see santa claus. >> he was great. i told him what i wanted.

mall this holiday weekend where they will find recently expanded shopping quarter, which took two years and 250 million-dollar to complete. it features 50 new stores, and seven new restaurants. mall also has a new parking garage with the valet service but black friday shoppers are mainly concerned, with i a deal. >> there are deals, i to the a pair of shoes, i steve maddens for $150, and steve madden's for 45 doll, is that that. >> some store didn't have any deals which was surprising. we went into some and they didn't have anything on sale. >> reporter: mall says so far black friday sales seem higher then in 2015, by the way, they will have extended hours, this weekend. bargain hunters flocked to the christiana mall in delaware on this black friday. chopper three over the parking lot this afternoon where it appeared almost every spot was taken. shoppers there also, could take advantage of the tax free shopping. in at the plant i can county police are investigating a deadly block friday shooting outside of the

south jersey mall, and cleve bryan has that story. >> reporter: dozens of casings and a bullet riddled suv were not what people expected to find in the parking lot of macy's on the busiest shopping day of the year. >> we never, ever had any episodes of violence. >> reporter: hamilton town hip police received a call just after 1:00 a.m. for shooting and they arrived to find damon common of the atlantic city shot multiple times and his 26 year-old brother, with a gunshot wound in the leg. damon was pronounced dead at the scene. >> i don't know what to say, it is like i come here very excited, my black friday shopping and i saw all those cars and cops. >> reporter: hamilton mall was not opened during the shootings just the department stores, while police have not released any information about a possible motive for the shootings, a source with knowledge of the police department said if they thought other people were in danger there would be much more police presence throughout the day. >> i'm thinking it is a tragedy, i'm thinking it is really sad and it is very

shooting happened. they are facing child endangerment and related charges. the two-year old victim remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition. police say he suffered a gunshot wound to his chest and hand. forty-nine year-old was not hurt. president-elect donald trump fills two more advisory rolls while spending the holiday weekend at his florida resort. he pick kathleen mcfarland as his deputy national security advisor and donald mcagain as white house council. mcfarland served as a "fox news" analyst and previously work under former presidents nixon, ford and reagan. mcgain was mr. trump's campaign attorney. campaign transition team has yet to reveal the secretary of state, front runners, included rudy guiliani and mitt romney. sign of the season, a big night in camden county. >> "eyewitness news" reporter vittoria woodill joins us from cooper river park where they are picking off the holiday season, and doing tonight style, tori.
