more minutes in the eyewitness weather toker cast. back to you. developing right now, a shooting in the french quarter of new orleans leaves a hand dead and nine others hurt. police don't know what led to the shooting which happened early this morning on bourbon street. they say they have rested two men on firearms charges. the investigation is ongoing. we will update you on the story as the morning goes on. a man remains hospitalized this morning after police say he was hit the by a reek until camden. the it happen shortly before 8:00 saturday night on bates boulevard and randolph street. victim was rush the two hospital but no word on his condition. right now it the is uncleared if the vehicle stayed at the even. motorist is recovering after their car, flipped over, in philadelphia's east falls section. this happened on the 4,000 block of ridge avenue shortlily before 4:00 this morning. we are told a person had gone through the crash was rush to the hospital and listed in stable condition. well, authorities are investigating a basement fire in west philadelphia it started just before 2:00 on the 100 block of north dewey

crowded mall parking lots can be a very dangerous place. shelter animals at pennsylvania spca, to unspeakable, cruelty, and, we're going to show you ways to help the doggies alive. i want to head line that. >> yes. >> let's start with the good news. this is the great thanksgiving dinner, that the dogs at pennsylvania spca got courtesy of best friend pet care of willow grove. they deliver special meal all of the dogs love it. >> yes. >> they are nice one, roasted turkey green bean, carrots, rice, 125 dogs all waiting for their forever homes were able to enjoy that meal. and now, i want to talk about a story that is making headlines and infuriating people in this city. there are ways to help. i want to show you disturbing pictures but know they are getting better and that is thanks to a good samaritan and pennsylvania spca. lets look at this. this was tuesday morning, barbara adams walking her dog wissohickon park, find a talk,

this dog cranberry, in a trash bag wrapped up completely tied in that trash bag at the time. wrapped in the sheet. managed to get the dog's head out, and she calls immediately. she did the right thing. she called the pennsylvania spca, they sent two humane officers over to this scene, they rescued that dog, and rushed the dog to the pennsylvania spca hospital. she was able to stand. they are feeding her now. and through this incredible ordeal, she is still wagging her tail and she's just doing really well, considering the circumstances, they got her in a sweater. they are keeping her warm. they are doing all of the things that they need to do. >> just to show you how resilient dogs can be. >> and also how cruel some people can be and how helpful others can be. >> right. >> couple other things i want to point out that the pennsylvania spca 100 percent donor funded. all of the work of the humane officers and hospital staff that comes from you, and thank

you for your generosity. if you have got ways that you would like to give, you can find that on the pennsylvania spca's web site pspca.org. because, there are ways to help. we need, money, we also have great lead, great leads on this one, so we will not get there now, we don't want to jeopardize the investigation which pennsylvania spca also does which is very costly. hepp there i the eventual punishment for person responsible to this. another way people can help and this is contact the state legislators, in january a new bill is coming up, hopefully called the pet protection bill and that is hb house bill 869. so contact your pennsylvania representative and say hey, find out where that is in the process and please support it the because it will increase the penalties for people that do this atrocious acts, that this dog cranberry suffered through. >> i think it is so interesting you mention that had about where this money goes to because i don't think people realize that the
