now, looking nice and dry, katie, hoping it stays that way. >> at least for now, we actually is very significant storm that we've got to to talk about. we'll talk much more about that as we progress through the show. getting you out the door, if you're like us, maybe back to work, back to school, nice clear skies for us overall. has allowed the temperatures to drop off readily. chilly level, actual air temperatures right now, guys, into the 20 in a lot of spots, including atlantic city, the influence of the open ocean water. twenty-three is the temperature at mount pocono, cold start in allentown, you get the idea. in philly actually the mildest spot of this little slew of observation at 36. and in doylestown, at 32. so, yes, chilly start. thankfully the winds very calm. it doesn't also account for any windchill here today. we will see more sun than anything as the day progresses, but there will also eventually be clouds on the increase, that is a sign of things to come. i think we get through the eagles game with no problem, weather wise, however, the

next storm system that moves in bringing us much needed soaking. coming up later on we'll track the storm, show you when things will go down here, when you need the umbrella, for now, no umbrellas required, it is a sunny and little on the chilly side. >> yes, we can deal with, that sunny, and chilly. we got it. thank you so much. good morning. so, what we're looking at right now, the a south past cottman, see it pulled over flashing light, disable vehicle, actually blocking the far right lane, now moved all the way over, easing some of the tension, just before i came on screen it was actually looking little bus necessary, a lot of the back up because of the right lane being blocked, has moved on, actually what we're looking at. not too badment make note of the disable vehicle, the vine not closed overnight, you can see both moving in the westbound and eastbound side, looking like it typically would on early monday morning. and, because it is monday morning we know it will get busy. new jersey 42 northbound,

creek road, looking at kind of the same story, looking fairly it up call, talking about overnight construction coming up in about two minute. >> new this morning, transgender person is followed after leaving a bar and shot just two blocks away from philadelphia's overbrook section. >> "eyewitness news" reporter trang do live southwest detective where police are handling the case. trang, good morning. report -- >> good morning, transgender male, police at this point are working to determine whether the suspect followed him because every his gender. here's what we know, police received a call about 11:15, 1200 block of atwood road in the city overbrook section, there they found 21 year old victim with gunshot wound to the hip. victim told investigators he was at a bar near 56th and lansdowne avenue. when he went to leave the bar two men followed him out. about two blocks away at the intersection of six and malvern, chief inspector

school small said one opened fire hitting him in the hip. >> five shots were fired from a small caliber semiautomatic weapon. we don't have motive for the shooting at this time. we just know that the victim and the two perpetrators, one of whom fired the shot. they were inside of a bar 66 and lansdowne, just prior to the shooting taking place. >> the victim was taken to lankenau hospital where necessary stable condition. he was, how much, able to give police a vague description of the shooter that he was a male, about five-six, medium build, tatoo on his face. investigators at this hour hoping surveillance individual >> the videotape operator: yo near the crime kreen will help them identify the suspect. >> thanks trang for the update. victim with guns turns tables

on would be robber. happened about 91:00 west rockland street. police saw the victim shot the suspect in both legs n1 else was hurt. police recovered a gun at the scene. >> new, storefront catches fire in vineland, new jersey, before 3:00, 500 block of ladies avenue. the store does have an apartment over top, but thankfully, everyone made it out safely. the cause is under investigation. >> in other news, in new orleans, police continue their search for two suspect after a shoot that left one man dead, and nine other people wounded. the shooting happened on burbon street early sunday morning as tourists walked the street following the classic football game. police believe the shooting stemmed from an argument between two men who are not from new orleans. five of the wounded are now out of the hospital. the other injuries are not considered life threatening. >> president-elect donald trump will resume filling his administration today after spending the thanksgiving in florida he took to twitter

sunday. criticizing recount effort launched by the green party that is now supported by hillary clinton's campaign. trump said hillary clinton conceded the election and nothing will change. the president-elect also tweeted clinton's own words to trump during the campaign about excepting the result of the election. >> the idea that we are going to drag this out now, where president, the president-elect has been incredibly magnanimous is incredible. >> no one expect there to be profound change, but nothing wrong with going through the process? trump will continue to interview candidates for his administration at trump tower today. several cabinet positions including secretary of state, still need to be filled. cuba is beginning its week long good-bye to fidel castro. workers are busy sprucing up half and's revolution plaza, for two days of tributes to the two days, of the public leader. public ceremony scheduled for tomorrow. also will be a memorial with

dozens of heads of state and officials attending later this week. few feel are this, small crowds continue to gather in miami's live havana neighborhood to celebrate castro's death. jubilation spans several generations of cubans, cuban americans. castro died friday after years of failing health. >> man suspect today survive after a car hits him in langhorne. road size side assistance working changing flat tire for customer on route one when another car hit him. police do not believe that the strike to driver was intoxicated or speeding. worker is in serious condition with multiple broken bones. >> investigation underway after car chase across two new jersey counties ends in a seven vehicle accident. police in evesham township say the officer started pursuing a driver in voorhees, camden county sunday afternoon, it

all stopped with a crash around 12:30, at route 73 in evesham in burlington county. four people suffered minor injuries. police in a camden county community hope you can tip them off to who ever stole an american flag. gloucester state police say three men were walking down monmouth street around 2:00 a.m., thanksgiving morning, when one of them ripped off the american flag from the front of a food store, now the suspect is seen in this surveillance photo on the right. if you have any information, call gloucester city police. >> well the eagles hope to continue their home field advantage when they host the greenbay packers in monday night football. fight to go keep their post-season fight going. eagles five and five, but four and zero at the linc. birds need the win to keep up in the nfc east wherever team is about 500. the packers have lost four straight games, after starting the season four and two. greenbay quarterback, karen rogers -- aaron rogers, thrown 25 touchdowns this season. kick off 8:30 at the linc.

welcome back, 1 million more travelers were on the roads, rales, and in the air than last year. triple a estimates 49 million americans traveled thanksgiving holiday, gas is the second cheapest price he's been over the past ten years. in travel home was probably the most hectic trip he's ever had. >> atlanta packed with people's flight, people just everywhere, finally got my flight to here. and the airport here was just back up with people who waited forever to get luggage. it's been really hectic.

>> and yet despite the crowds, traffic and test of patience, travelers say they were thankful to spends time with those who matter most on the thanksgiving holiday. >> philadelphia's christmas village officially open. expected to hit the courtyard at city hall for warm pretzels, children's activities, lots and lots of shopping options. local high school bands and choirs also performed traditional christmas music, for the markets organizers there is event, is about bringing a german style christmas to philly. >> it looks great. it is really nice, and at city hall, also like more like european christmas markets to be in and around city hall. we really like it this year. >> before this year christmas village was across the street in love park. organizers expect at least 780,000 visitors this year. and you can once again put a smile on a child's face this holiday season. today cbs-3 is kicking off its

36 degrees, feels more lick three it, but with a pretty calm winds out there, very close rather than far, far when it comes to the windshield. storm scan, quiet locally. already down through the virginias, start to see the cloud building in. this is doozy of a storm, guys, likely to see severe weather out of this, already seeing snow out of this across the dakotas, eventually warm and cold front that comes with this crosses our area. so this is a two day event from one storm system. walking you through it, by just looking at the general expectation when it comes to how much we will talk about here in terms of wet weather. we get you up to three p.m. and beyond in fact without a hitch. nice clear skies, full sunshine, clouds begin to come n get in the eagles game without a problem too. then through the overnight specially around this time tomorrow actually the rain starting to build in from west to east, essentially here, as the warmfront lift through. so, notice, even up toward the poconos, it is actually too warm for anything but rain. don't have to worry about ice, don't have to worry about snow, just rain, and good dose of t we get through all of the tuesday with this kind of weather, maybe few breaks

thirty-two the current temperature, okay, so chilly at palmyra cove. but, we do have clouds already, starting to nudge ever closer. crossing the maryland state border there, eventually see the combination of the light off to the west there across the lower michigan region, into indianna. that's our next system moving on in. now, we get the eagles game in without any hitch this year. generally just clouds overhead, 49 degrees, at kick off. probably drop maybe 3 degrees or so by the time we're into the fourth quarter. but it looks dry. overnight, however, into about this same time tomorrow, different story. rain comes in. all we can say is just rain on the wording, there because it looks like day that's going to feature nothing but. it will be mild, though, so no ice, no snow, just rain, for everyone, including the mountains, and then we will see the temperatures drop off later this week as skies start to clear out again, meisha? >> katie always a trade off. 60s, but we'll get some rain. >> oh, yes. >> thank you, good morning, everyone, happy monday. and welcome back to what we're

looking at here, the boulevard, the southbound direction, headlights moving in the southbound direction, actually looking at the northbound direction past the schuylkill with construction vehicles pulled away off to the right. those have moved on. looking good. southbound particularly, right now, approaching the schuylkill, and looking good, looking quiet. then talking about the schuylkill, headlights moving in the eastbound direction, this is at montgomery. you can see both directions here as well, eastbound and westbound. looking fairly quiet. we know today is going to get busy little later. a lot of people off work thursday, friday, as well, either way, they are going to be jumping on the roadways monday after the holiday. so monday after the holiday tends to be pretty busy. heads up on that, construction 95 both direct cents academy, bridge street, overnight construction eight p.m. to 5:00 a.m. linger out there through friday, another one lingering, through thursday, 42, 422 both directions between 202 and first avenue. right lane is blocked, and that's 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. so just couple of reminders for you, jim, over to you. >> thank you so much, meisha. the 2016 mid-atlantic region
