shelter in place order has just been lifted. correspondent brook silva bragga has the latest developments. >> police swarmed the campus of ohio state university in columbus responding to reports of an active shooter. the university twitter account warned student just before 10:00 a.m., active shooter on campus, run, hide, fight. watts hall, 19 and college. houses department of material science, engineering, cbs affiliate in columbus ohio reports the attacks and when a vehicle crashed into the building. firefighters responded to a possible gas station. >> it is still a very active situation. there are lot of student, standing by, in fact, we're near the armory here, students are peering out windows, trying to get an idea just what's happening. >> police say one assailant killed by law enforcement, but the campaign remains on lockdown. brook silva bragga, cbs-3, "eyewitness news". >> and also, developing this noon, back here at home, teen

boy shot on his way to school in wilmington. >> police trying to figure out who shot the boy and why. "eyewitness news" reporter anita o with the developing details in wilmington,, where the victim is recovering this noon. anita? >> good afternoon, jim, rahel. that student only 15 years old, but now recovering from several gunshot wound to his left arm and waist area. that will shooting happened this morning around 7:00 at a bus stop near west 27th street and north van buren street. we can show you some video now from the scene earlier this morning, when authorities rushed after a force of shots fired. police say that student was able to flagg down a school bus, headed to john dickinson high school. after someone reportedly ran up to him and opened fire. one neighbor describes seeing panic students scrambling to get on the bus or rush for cover. >> still chaos, but when we look out the window, we saw some kids run up this way,

kids on the bus, some of the bus drivers was telling the kids to get on the bus. >> that student sent list in the stable condition here at a. i. dupont children's hospital. at this time, there is no word on motive or suspect. but anyone with information is asked to call wilmington police. live in wilmington, anita oh, cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> meanwhile in philadelphia's feltonville section, police say would be hold-up victim turned the tables on his attacker. they say the would be victim pulled out his own gun, shot man trying to will be him. >> this happened last night on the 100 block of west rockland street. police found gun at the scene. they say it belongs to one of the suspects. that suspect is now in stable condition with gunshot wounds to both legs. >> there is outpouring of support for the last week's letter bomb in center city. this is the crowd fund page to help jim aldan, see the shrapnel wound covering the upper half of his body. last tuesday you may recall,

he was inside his apartment at 18th and pine, when he opened an envelope addressed to him triggering the explosive device. so far police have not made any arrests. the crowd funding page has raised more than $9,000. the goal is to raise $25,000. we are starting the week off with some sunshine, but it won't last long. clouds will be moving in later today. we are also in for some wet weather. katie fehlinger is tracking the changes, and is live on the cbs-3 skydeck where it is dry for now. hey, katy? >> good way of putting it, rahel. looks like it will stay that way right through tonight, how much, rain is on the way, we real coy use good soaking rain at this point here in the delaware valley. mother nature certainly going to deliver. so, let's take a look what's going on out there. first and for most, we take a look at storm scan, clouds are beginning to bill owe in across delaware, maryland, so eventually see the bright sunshine we've got over philadelphia. get skewed by the cloud cover, but do expect dry afternoon, frankly, actually pretty dry night too.

50 degrees temperature right now at philadelphia international airport. you're in at 52 degrees in wilmington, and into the low 50's, pretty much everywhere else, little cooler up in the mountains. but, as we go forward in the forecast here today, expect the daytime high to rebound to the mid 50's, again, in full sunshine, generally speaking, but the clouds will begin to build with time. and that of course is a sign of things to come. so come tomorrow, you go from 0% chance every rain today, to 100, pretty much sure thing, folks. going to eventually track this for in you my full forecast later on, i want to give you better sense of timing, a, and also, you know, which commutes will be impacted by. >> this obviously looking to be pretty extensive issue here, not just tuesday but wednesday, featuring rain in the forecast, again, we will walk you through it in more detail, how it pans later on. >> see you soon, thank you. president-elect donald trump is back home in new york city today working to fill one of the most important cabinet positions in his upcoming administration. correspondent kennel craig there with the search for the next secretary every state.

vice president elect, mike pence, arrived at trump tower where president-elect donald trump is holding more meetings to fill his administration. >> it will be busy week, get ready. buckle up. >> among his visitors, former cia director david petraeus, being considered for secretary of state. petraeus resigned in 2012 after admitting to extra-marital affair with his biographer and mishandling classified information. mitt romney, another contender for the cabinet position, has sparked an outcry among some trump loyalists. >> we don't even know if he voted for donald trump. he and his consultants were nothing but awful to donald trump for a year. >> the president-elect will meet with both romney and senator bob corker of tennessee here at trump tower tomorrow. corker is considered a long shot to become the nation's top diplomate. the president-elect is also slamming hillary clinton's campaign forgetting involved in green party candidate jill stein's recall effort in wisconsin, michigan, and pennsylvania.

mr. trump claimed without evidence, widespread voter fraud. tweeting sunday: i won the popular vote. if you deduct millions of people who voted illegally. independent fact check verse determined that claim to be false. kenneth craig, for cbs-3, "eyewitness news". well, jet blue's first commercial flight to cuba is in the air. but the take off did not have the original fanfare scheduled before the death of fidel castro. the plane took off from jfk airport about 9:00 this morning, due in havana in less than an hour, commercial flights from spirit, frontier, delta, also begin this week. jet blue had canceled a music performance before take-off out of respect for the nine days of mourning for castro. correspondent don champion has more from miami, where cuban exiles are watching. >> a 21 gun salute echoed over havana, where thousands of cubans lined up at revolution plaza, to mourn their former president. many shed tears as they passed through the monument for fidel castro, who died on friday, at

entire state of arkansas after all. basically just one large system. >> sending waves of energy. as a result we have few separate days that are going to feature wet weather as a result. again we need the rain. >> would will welcome l rain. jumping to tomorrow early morning, again, we will be on the air rain mikely moving in. if you do head out the door early in the morning, check in with us, we will gave you a sense where the placement is on all of this, but just go with a wash out. further east you are, more likely it is that it waits a few more hours, but come lunchtime, come this same time, we will be blanketed in just green all across the radar at that point, evening drive, not looking great. now, we are going to see little lull in the action, over night into wednesday. but sure enough, fresh round every rain comes in. primarily in the p.m. hours of wednesday, so do you want to keep the umbrella ready to go or some kind of rain gear here into wednesday, as well. how much are we talking? okay, let's just put it into motion, let it run its course, computer model one of them, future rain amounts are

impressive k easily chip away at the deficit here if we end up with over an inch, strong likelihood that we do in many spots, possibly, even upward of two plus inches, if you go far enough north, at least according to this particular initialization. it is too warm this time for anybody to sea ice or snow. the average first snow doesn't usually come until december 12th as it is in philadelphia. so little early. but you might be wondering, why are we only dealing with rain? it is simply too warm. wait until you see the temperatures we're talking about, see that in the seven day. but no snow, no ice from this particular system. this is one of those spots though that's going to be cooler, at least over across the region, outside pleasant valley and middle high school. nice clear blue sky. don't expect it will last, however, as we see tomorrow, of course, bringing in all of the rain. so for now, bright and sunny, watching the clouds roll in later this evening, especially toward sunset, then through the overnight. and again, for the eagles game all looks good, 49 at kick off, probably dropping to 46 by the time we hit the fourth quarter but just clouds overhead.

so that's good news. quick check on that 74. you look at the temperatures, now, you know why it is just the rain producer. you are not going to sea ice or snow talking 64 and 66 degrees apiece both tuesday and wednesday. behind this system though temperatures do take a hit. back down to the low 50's, struggling to even hit 50 itself come saturday, sunday, but we brighten up with every passing day past wednesday. >> okay. >> and we need the rain. >> we do indeed. >> appreciate t all-star wars fans once again are loyal to the franchise. >> that's one way to put it. take a look at this, fans lined up in hollywood last night in hopes of snagging the tickets for the the next long awaited movie. it premiers december 16th. get this, ticket demand so high, popular movie website fandango crashed. >> i love star wars. just such a great movie. such a great series. i just really wanted to see it. i want to be one of the first to see it. so i new i had to get here early. >> those tickets went on sale at will the 01 last night at the el captan theater.

>> update on breaking news, attack at ohio university in columbus, one suspect killed by police, and search underway for possible accomplices. >> we know at least eight people have been taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. according to the school, the injuries include stab wounds, injuries from being hit by a vehicle. police say it all started at about 9:30 this morning, when a truck crashed into an engineering building, the university alerted students with a series of tweets, shelter in place order has just been lifted and authorities say the situation is secure. we will of course continue to follow this story and have the latest on "eyewitness news" starting at 5:00. >> also, coming up later today at 51:00 side does not all fit all. seatbelts can actually hurt some drivers and passengers. who is at risk and how can you make sure that your seatbelt is protecting you? that's coming up today at 5:00. >> well, the holiday season is a time to celebrate tradition. >> just down i-95, christmas tradition is attracting thousands to one baltimore neighborhood.
