11:18 pm
not much of a break in between. we're talking about pretty steady on and off rainfall, but it's going to continue through the day tomorrow, again in periods, and then through the day on wednesday. so two solid days of wet weather before we clear it out again. here's a look outside right now. we'll take you out to our roof cam which is looking pretty dry for now. it's actually a pretty nice day today we got to the mid 50s, a little bit above where we've been through the weekend. it felt just a little warmer outside and warmth is not going to be a problem over the next couple of days. we're talking about highs surging to the 60s but not a lot of time to get outside and enjoy it. storm scan 3 shows this major storm system, the parent storm so to speak is still way back to the west over portions of the dakotas. you can see this large cold front spanning through the great lakes and it stretches all the way down into the gulf of mexico. what it's going to be doing is pulling in moisture and also warmth from the gulf and driving it along the eastern sea board. and temperatures are heading upward, but again you're not

tomorrow from about 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 or 5:00 p.m. rain for the morning commute, watch for that embedded thunderstorm, a rumble of thunder any time especially tomorrow afternoon. winds will pick up down the shores and reduced visibility on the road. by tomorrow evening 8:00 over an inch of rain will have fallen in many spots then you add wednesday's rainfall and some spots will check in with over 2 inches of rain. the good news is it's been so dry and this rain is spread out over the course of about 48 hours so we're not expecting any wide spread flooding concerns. just some ponding on the roads in poor trainage areas. it will be breezy as well with future wind speeds about 20 miles per hour with some gusts especially down the shore upwards of 30 miles per hour. so a very, very wet day tomorrow. the rain arriving late tonight. notice how warm it is, so this is rain for everyone, even the
