nine septa bus last night pushing a baby stroller. police say 64 year-old linda procaccino of cherry hill was in the cross august when bus attempted to make a left turn to on to chestnut from 23rd. a nine month-old baby was in the stroller who was not hurt and neither was three passengers on the bus. police continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding that accident. police have arrested a suspect in a weekend home invasion and sexual assault in bucks county. twenty-one year-old derek anderson faces burglary, indecent assault and other charges. police say and aer son was homeless and found inside an abandon car inside philadelphia he is accused of assaulting a female resident of bensalem's lafayette gardens early sat the day. according to police tips after the release of surveillance video led them to the suspect. we're learning more about a deadly plane crash in columbia, that claimed 77 lives. six people survived. charter plane was traveling from brazil to columbia when it crash in the hill side.

talking about, just shy of an inch so far in philadelphia. it is likely that we will end up with over an inch before this system is done with us and to this is most rain we have had in one day, since september 19th, more than two months ago. future weather shows still some showers lingering through tonight but notice they do taper off. watch for fog to develop overnight and early tomorrow morning, and then here's the warm front associated with that secondary low coming through around 11:00 a.m. with the scattered showers, still some heavy showers but not as heavy as what we saw today. that exits through the evening commute and we may see clouds and then cold front late tomorrow night into early thursday morning, we will bring another round of showers and perhaps a thunderstorm. so showers early tonight with some fog, fog and showers tomorrow morning's commute and for tomorrow evening's commute showers and chance of the thunderstorm even marginal risk for severe weather through portions of south jersey and delaware tomorrow afternoon. overnight showers early and watch for that dense fog and 54 degrees is your low, for

well, on this giving tuesday philadelphia's mayor jim kenney is leading campaign to raise money for books in classrooms. >> mayor took time out to read to students at the school in bella vista. school district's write books campaign aims to raise 14 million-dollar to establish classroom libraries and 149 city schools. organizers say that the additions would help thousands of children achieve the ability to read, at grade level or above. and the mayor was also on hand for an event at philadelphia's city hall, work ready philadelphia held its event to promote summer jobs program for youth, group has begun, begun fund raising for that effort.
