trang? >> have found they had a could link andre wesley to similar attacks on women in the area. camden county prosecutor office is helping with that investigation. but, police right now, just very grateful, that they say this extremely dangerous preditor is off the street after very tends stand-off with officers last night. what we know now friday police release that andre wesley is the suspect in this violent sexual assault that happened last sunday night. now, the victim told police, that an armed man forced her into a white van, at the intersection of broadway and pine in camden, she says he then drove her to nearby lot next to abandoned building where he sexually assaulted her, and brutally beat her. friday night, officers went to wesley's willingboro home, and please had to use a taster to subdue him. tens stand-off situation with officers on scene, officers de escalated the situation.

he was provoking the officers trying to get them to shoot him officers exercising extreme restraint, bolt our officers and officers from the willingboro police department. and, camden county police chief scott thompson says that wesley is a tear one registered sex offender, who was out on parole. his bail in this case is set at $2 million. but for now live from camden county police headquarters, i'm trang do, cbs-3, "eyewitness news", back to you, jan. >> trang, thank you. philadelphia police want your help to find a man who robbed a woman at gunpoint, in northern liberties. take a lock at this surveillance video, watch as the suspect approaches from behind. police say he grabbed a woman, pointed a gun to her head, and took off with her purse. this happened tuesday night in the had hundred block of north third street. the victim was not injured. >> man rushed to the hospital after he is pulled from burning home in west oaklane. firefighters found this man in his 60s, on the second floor of his home on the 7600 block

new developments in the murder case against former wrestler, jimmy super fly snuka in lehigh county. yesterday his attorney told the court he only has six months to live. snuka appeared in court via face time from florida during competency hearing in allentown, six months ago the judge ruled spike a was mentally inch kent to stand trial in the death of his girlfriend, defense says the 73 year old suffers from stomach cancer and dementia. but the prosecution argues snuka may be faking memory loss symptoms. montgomery county detective are making a plea to help solve a cold case, 23 years after a young woman's murder. julie's body found at the lansdale septa conrail yard 23 years ago yesterday. the 18 year old was taking the train from philadelphia, before she disappeared, her body was found three weeks later. there is a $10,000 reward for information leading to her killer. the camden county police department is trying to return stolen items to their rightful

rolling on through, the trends today, overall call it partly sunny skies, so that increasing winds, gust to go near 30 miles per hour in the afternoon. all right, let's talk about some colder air that we typically deal with for the middle of december. and this is typically when we have our average. so the average first high freezing, here in philadelphia, usually happens around december 18th. same deal with lows in the upper teens, 19 degrees or colder, so usually mid month where we get the true wintertime feel to our region, and then our america objectionable snowfall, average first, september 12th, philadelphia, and inch or more toward late december on the 24th. and we are going to move into colder pattern over the next couple of weeks. so may holdup. have to wait and see. clouds over us, few lake effect snow showers, not really casting a problem to anyone. other than that, quiet conditions across the mid-atlantic, travel conditions, up and down the east coast. really our next major storm, holds off, until next week, on tuesday. windy today. the reason, we have storm

system exiting the region. strengthening, low pressure, we have high pressure building back in. so, it is that pressure difference, which is causing the winds. so when you are stuck between those two systems, you get the stronger winds flow. atmosphere just wants to balance itself out. and that's what it is doing, just blowing the winds across the region, the winds, will die down later on tonight, so really just today. gusts, near 30 miles per hour through the morning into the afternoon, over a lot of locations, start decreasing into the evening hours, gusts less than 20. by around 8:00, 9:00. tomorrow much quieter conditions as far as the wind goes. high pressure starts to builds in across the mid-atlantic over the next 24 hours, that locks us in to the dry pattern. sunday we start off with some sun, clouds start thickening up later during the day, one weak disturbance tries to move through, maybe stray shower, or even flurry in the poconos, early monday morning. other than that, partly sunny skies, then our next larger system holds off until tuesday. it will bring milder air with some rain. specially on tuesday afternoon. good thing, we can use some more rain across the region. highs today near average.
