27 degrees right now philadelphia, teens in the poconos, 23 in allentown and 24 at the ac airport. overnight tonight another frigid one, even slightly cooler than last night down to 25 degrees and inn philly, 21 in the lehigh valley, teens once again in the poconos down to 15 degrees and 27 in atlantic city. of course we are talking about the possibility of some wintry type weather. we have this winter weather advisory in effect for berks county, upper bucks, lehigh valley and poconos kicks in at 1 o'clock in the afternoon tomorrow and runs until 9 o'clock in the morning on monday. so what to my expect sunday afternoon, sunday night and monday morning, this actually starts as snow and then will transition over to a wintry mix and then eventually over to rain. if we do see any flakes in center city philadelphia at all, that best chance will be late day sunday, sunday evening. big concern for freezing rain north and west of the city lehigh valleyer early monday morning and then on monday it will be all rain in philadelphia and points south and east and we'll talk more about the timing on this system and where we could see

accumulating ice and snow in your full forecast coming up in just a few natasha. >> lauren thank you so much. the woman behind president-elect trump's victory returned to her south jersey roots tonight. kellyanne conway was the grand marshal one of the region's largest race christmas parades. alexandria hoff tells us hundreds of folks gathered in hammonton to see her. >> reporter: conway said she's still not decided whether she'll continue on with donald trump into the west wing or opt to spend more time at home her family was with her along the parade route. despite the evening's guest of honor being the power house campaign manager behind donald trump's presidential victory, event organizers said hammonton's annual holiday parade was nonpolitical nothing more than just that, a holiday parade. >> we would have come anyway. >> reporter: subfreezing temperatures did nothing to stop a large crowd from lining the downtown route. along with hammonton's 150th birthday celebration it was also a homecoming for the town's special guest.

over. fellow firefighter its gather in wilmington delaware today to say goodbye to ardythe hope. she died after battling severe burns for more than two months. "eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan has the story now from the chase center. >> ♪ >> reporter: it's the beat of drums and melody of pipes that let us know someone great has passed away. >> ♪ >> reporter: after 68 days battling to survive severe burns senior wilmington firefighter ardythe hope was laid to rest during a funeral at the chase center. she's the third to die from the fire that claimed two other firemen and the severely injuring brad speakman. >> two firefighters down and several firefighters rushed to area hospitals. a significant turning point for not only me but the entire wilmington fire department and the city as a whole. >> reporter: chief anthony goode promoted hope to the rank of lieutenant making her

the department's first african-american female officer. the deaths are the result of a floor collapse. beatrice ruiz has been charged with murder. among those offering condolences to all the victims' families vice president joe biden. >> she lives in every heart of every firefighter who has ever answered the call and we owe you the family beyond anything we can ever repay you. >> reporter: hope was a single mother and planned to retire from fire fighting in january to become a nurse and provide a better life for her three daughters. >> ariel and alexis and i are really glad we got to spend the time we did with her and make the memories that we did. mom will forever live on in the three of us and we can think of no better privilege. >> ♪ >> reporter: in addition to being promoted to lieutenant hope was also given local pacific northwest national medals of honor and valor the exclamation points on 23 year career an lifetime of service. in wilmington, i'm cleve

bryan, cbs3 "eyewitness news." >> well, a plan is in critical condition following a double shooting in upper darby delaware county. this shooting happened in front of a store on the 6700 block of market street at about 5 o'clock this evening. police say a gunman wearing a mask shot the victim in the chest and he also shot another man in the leg. police are searching for the suspect at this hour. also police are investigating a deadly home invasion in chester. it happened on the 800 block of upland street around 1 o'clock this morning. police say the homeowner shot and killed a man who attempted to break into his house. so far authorities have not filed any charges against the homeowner. meanwhile chester county police officers took some time today to give back. some youngsters are getting exactly what they want this holiday season thanks to the generosity of the community and to those who protect and serve. blaring dozens of coastal area police officers swarmed the parkesburg wal-mart on saturday morning. but this was no ordinary scene. >> give me a high-five. look at that. >> reporter: it was the 14th annual shop with a cop event. thanks to generous donations and fundraising over the past year coatesville area police and partners were able to shop with 78 children find them each -- buying them each $125 worth of christmas gifts. >> i wish this was my house over. the public safety group raised $16,000 to help sponsors the event and any leftover money goes to the organization coatesville kids to college. >> so much joy, true technological. there's been children that they haven't even had food at home and some of them wanted to shop for groceries. >> reporter: not so for fourth grader arianna jackson who picked out an emoji backrest. >> vice president 99 teddy bears on my bed and this is

at least 29 people were killed, 27 of them were police officers. and 166 people are injured. authorities say the attackerse . one person is missing following an avalanche at a ski resort near 19 reno nevada. officials say two 60-year-old men were back country skiing in a closed off area of mounts rose when one of them was swept away by the wall of snow. search efforts were called off this afternoon due to very dangerous conditions. crews will reassess the situation tomorrow and decide whether to resume that search. and two wedding guests are suing a groom for an incident that gives whole new meaning to the term wedding crasher. >> ♪ a drone crashed into the guests dark wedding reception in new hampshire. according to this lawsuit the groom was flying the drone at the time when it crashed and struck both of the victims in the face. the groom claims he was not flying the drone. i guess the rest will be settled in litigation. and tonight it's the world

premiere of the long anticipated film star wars rogue one in los angeles. nearly a half a mile of hollywood boulevard has been closed off this week because of a life sized x wing parked nearby. now, the x wing there was made famous in the 1977 original film. that was when luke skywalker destroyed the first death star. remember? star wars rogue one opens in theaters nationwide on friday. i'm a fan. parts of new york state digging out from serious snow. about 16-inches of lake effect snow fell in perries burg little south of buffalo on the same area is that expected to get more fresh powder in the coming days. >> oh, my gosh. no. wow. very frightening moments. the area had been hit with snow and freezing rain in the days leading up to that tree that's snapped there. no word on any injuries but

boy that's scary, terrifying scene after some pretty bad weather in that area. >> incredible what mother nature can do, just some freezing rain icing there takes down an entire tree. >> unbelievable. nothing like that for this particular area. >> this particular area. we could see freezing rain accumulation especially lehigh valley and poconos late tomorrow night early monday. that could create hazardous travel condition also. we've got our eye on a storm system that's going to be moving but all is quiet for tonight and in case you hadn't noticed very, very cold. getting a live look at center city philadelphia, 27 degrees. winds out of the west only around 5 miles per hour but it's still making it feel like 22 degrees and some chilly numbers in our live neighborhood network. 21 degrees in millville, 23 in chester springs and hammonton reporting 23 degrees and temperatures generally in the 20's all across the area. the warm spot, warm authorization degrees in wildwood and the cold spot mount pocono already at 17 degrees. we're dealing with this arctic air mass.

in the southern states even parts of northern florida falling down into the 30's. after that blustery day yesterday thankfully the wind is let up a bit. winds only at 5 miles an hour but that light breeze is having an impact on the feels-like temperature down, to 22 in philadelphia, 19 in wilmington, down to 6 degrees in mount pocono and overnight tonight, very cold once again, mostly cloudy conditions, down 25 degrees for the day tomorrow, another cold one, 38 degrees the high temperature, mostly cloudy with that chance of a late day rain and or snow shower moving into parts of the area. storm scan3 showing us pretty quiet conditions right now. we did pick up about a half inch of snow in that mount pocono tsnhrououfall to parts or and lower midwest that will that continue to track eastbound and gives us this winter weather potential as we head into sunday afternoon, tomorrow night and early monday morning from the poconos general about two to 4 inches of snow. this is kind of a backwards system.

we'll see snow first transition a wintry mix and then transition all rainfall, some warmer air builds into the mid levels of the atmosphere kind of cuts off that snow chance so berks, lehigh valley, a couple inches of snow on sunday, sunday night before transitioning over to freezing rain early monday morning. northwest suburbs maybe a minor snow accumulation, then freezing rain, then all rain and if we do see any flakes in philly at all i think our best chance will be on late day sunday, sunday evening. otherwise philadelphia points south and east this will be mainly an all rain event. future weather showing us sunday morning quiet, sunday afternoon starting to see those snow showers breaking out north and west. then a better chance of that snow spreading out as we head into that sunday evening. again i think this is a chance we could see a few snow showers sneaking in towards center city philadelphia. then on sunday night earlyr fres county, lehigh, up into the poconos, also berks county has that potential. all rainfall likely in philadelphia south and east and then 6 o'clock in the morning, dealing with a transition to mainly all

rainfall across much of the delaware valley but it isy tough commute with the slick roadways even into the 8 o'clock hour still dealing with rain around philly south jersey delaware and as we head into lunchtime that moisture starting to build on out. then monday evening commute looking much improved but we're concerned for that potential for ice accumulation late sunday night early monday morning up towards the lehigh valley and poconos. that could create very slick conditions. as far as snowfall accumulation not major. again two to four in the poconos, possibly one to two berks county lehigh valley and maybe, maybe a dusting in philadelphia and areas immediately to the north and west as we head to sunday afternoon and into monday morning but for the birds game bundle up, your game time temperature 36 degrees with mostly cloudy conditions and across the region tomorrow dealing with that snow developing in the poconos. high temperatures struggling only in the 20's and in your seven-day forecast, we have some 20's in store in the city as well after a rainy monday
