look at that, feels like 13 below zero up there in bean town, and feels like nine, norfolk feels like nine. charlotte not much better even north carolina feels like 17 degrees. whopping 57 for our friends that are more like friendsmies in tampa, feels like 57 degrees, those lucky stingers. sixteen technically in the thermometer in philadelphia. this is actually a far cry from what it had been. sixteen feels again more like it is single digits right now in the city. i would knock about 10 degrees off any time the winds blows here today. but storm scan is empty. that's good news. and thankfully that wind again just not as harsh, as the day progresses, eventually see clouds building in. any wet weather or snow specifically, holds off until much later tonight, with that said, this is your little teaser. winter weather advisory goes into effect as of 10:00 tonight for the entire region. including the poconos, including the shore. so, with that said, with winter weather on the way, of

this is in southampton new jersey, bridge road between pemberton bridge and on -- ongs hat road. water main break, route 07 eastbound past 29 # five, left lane block there, could be some icy conditions. use the white horse pike as your alternate. jim, jan, over to you. >> thank you, patrick. new this morning, three teens rob a man at gunpoint and then take off. >> but not for long. police caught all three suspects in philadelphia's feltonville section. this all started right around 1:30 this morning at lawndale and luzern streets. three boys snatched the 21 year old victim's cash, cell phone, and fled the scene. police chased the suspect who fired at officers. the suspects are 17, 18, 19 years old. they're all now in police custody. now, to a police-involved crash in south philadelphia. authorities say it happened just before 2:30 a.m. on broad street and snyder avenue. two officers, man and woman,

were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. >> well, philadelphia fire crews battle overnight flames in the city's wissinoming section. "eyewitness news" on the 6000 block of keystone street where fire officials tell us flames broke out inside of this vacant home around 1:30 this morning. firefighters had everything under control within about 20 minutes. fortunately, no injuries were reported. >> two bucks county homes are severely damaged this morning, after a driver slams her car into a neighbor's house, and then into her own. the crash happened just before 5:00 last night, on indian road in levittown. police say the woman reversed her car, crashed right into her neighbor's living room, then put the car in drive. but then she smashed into her own home, across the street, her neighbor got a call from a friend while she was at work. >> i said really didn't believe it when he called me and told me. i thought he was joke withing me. said a car went through your house. i didn't really believe him until my neighbor told me, oh, ya, you'll need a new house.

it was really devastating moment. i had to rush home, come home to this. >> now the driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. thankfully, no one was seriously hurt. police are investigating to see if alcohol played a part in the crash. >> exterminators are working to raise two chester fire stations of bed bugs, the city has thrown out the beds in the sleeping quarters of fire station 81 and 82, officials say, they discovered the bed bug infestation at station 82 on monday. firefighters complained they were getting bitten while in bed. they found the infestation also at station 81 wednesday. phase one of three part treatment plan to get rid of the bed bugs is now underway. well, four lawsuits have been filed locally for injuries related to electronic cigarettes. now, the devices explode, caused serious burns. two of the suit filed are on behalf of minors, who were injured. a third victim from south jersey says he had no idea it could be so dangerous, fred

firetruck, of course, santa. this was out in cherry hill, i believe. came in from lynn, she said poor guy, so chilly yesterday, and he was still out read to go kids. beautiful chap line family christmas tree sent in to us from phil, love it, beautiful, well done, looks great. but the chill is with us, baby it is cold outsidement looking at storm scan3, we've got new storm system waiting in the binges, cold air setting the stage for t the wind not as harsh today. snow already streaking out in advance of this, even as far east as the buckeye state. but here is your storm system. looking a heck a lot more impressive than it did this time yesterday. will pull into the mid section of the us, bring through warm and cold front, duo to us. now, this is a look at our snowfall map. i will say that it is looking less and less likely that through the southern tear of our area you even see a snowflake out of this, guys. once the snow starts overnight into saturday morning, about 1:00, maybe 12:00 midnight, in

the morning, you will start to see the snow accumulating readily. because it is so cold. may not fill in the rest of the radar until later in the morning when it start to actually warm up. now, with that said, your going to be dealing with not just snow initially here, but eventually turn-over to ice. and that does mean that if you're trying to get this jump start on your holiday travel, it is treacherous on saturday morning. afternoon, you get little bit more of a caution light as opposed to the red light, but still going to be battling additional rain. and then more rain on the way on sunday. so please think about this. if you are really trying to plan a dry weather window, late in the day saturday, overnight, into early sunday morning, that's the driest period, by sunday cold front crossing through, again, but actually we will warm up to 54 degrees, before it crosses through, and then, ya, that's cold front living up to its name, 30's at best monday and tuesday. >> i mean it is wintertime. so you have to come to expect that, flight. >> expect it. >> really. these are break lights. not very good. this is 95, southbound at upland, right near the

commodore barry bridge. all lanes currently blocked, because after accident. state police are on their way out there to gather more information, we've been keeping an eye on this camera the next couple every minutes. they are not moving. so this, again, 59 southbound at upland, right near the commodore barry. all lanes are blocked. so do not use this route if this is the way that you normally g take a look at the boulevard. it looks pretty good so far this morning. no major delays as you head toward i76. and that's a thumbs-up as it is about 10:06 in the morning. right about 6:00 or after when it will start to pick up on friday morning. new jersey, 42 freeway headed toward 295 and the city of philadelphia looking good here as well, no major delays in this area. we've got couple of fires to tell you about. millick street, west philly between wharton street and baltimore avenue, all lanes are blocked right there. because of some fire, and crews are still on the scene here, a fire in new jersey, as well, southampton, ridge road between pemberton road and ongs hat road. all blocked there.

use brace road or burst mill. wall repairs on the mlk inbound are happening this morning starting at 9:00 a.m. so if you are coming into the city you'll not be able to use mlk drive, jim? >> residents in corpus christi can start drinking tap water. the water was un safer due to chemical leak. they claim it came from a local refinery. officials urge city residents to use only bottled water for cooking and cleaning, many local stores have sold out of bottled water. some fearful overturning to school without her hair, and hair lost can be traumatic for those undergoing chemotherapy, specially children. marlie hall has more on what a difference a wig can make for some of the strongest fighters >> keep pushing me, mom. >> six year old girl undergoing chemotherapy after being diagnosed with leukemia
