children escaped the flames. the red cross is assisting the family. a man is dead after he was shot several times this morning in north philadelphia it happened just after 8:30 on the 2800 block of north park avenue, just off of the north broad street. police tell us that the 23 year-old victim was shot four times, including once in the neck and chest. he died a short time later at temple hospital, no arrests have been made and no word on a motive. authorities are investigating a robbery at a wawa in philadelphia's somerton neighborhood, "eyewitness news" on the scene of bustleton and fillmont avenue. robbery happened around 6:00 this morning, no one was injury. a pennsylvania state police trooper kill in the line of duty will be laid to rest this week. funeral services for trooper london weaver are scheduled for wednesday, and thursday, in altoona. he will be laid to rest in martinsberg blair county on thursday. the 23 year-old was shot and killed while responding to a domestic complaint, try night in huntingdon county. state police shot and killed the suspect, and jason

robinson, after an overnight manhunt. family in our area waiting to be reunited with local victim of the attack in turkey this is as the manhunt continues for a gunman, wanted in the deadly night the club massacre in istanbul. isis claimed responsibility for the attack. the man in these grain i pictures is accused of leading the shooting rampage that killed at least 39 people, and injured dozens more during a new years celebration. turkish authorities say that they are close to identifying him, through fingerprints. eight other people have been detained in connection with the attack. delaware county native jay rock, survived the night club attack. his family told "eyewitness news" a bullet bounced off his cell phone and hit him in the leg. that is when rock made a decision that likely saved his life he laid dead as gunman continued shooting people inside the club. >> i don't want to talk about what happened inside the club but i wanted to say, you know,

you can see that light glaze of ice on our camera in carbon county. it looks different here in philadelphia still cloudy, glummy. see how gray sky is from our camera at palmyra cove nature park but 39 degrees and temperatures will hold steady around 40 overnight before slowingly rising to 50 tomorrow. so any wet weather that gets in will come in the form of the liquid rain, in the snow or ice. you can see, storm scan three, round one is almost done with our area and that is good news for poconos as temperatures drop now that the sun goes down. the less rain means less threat for icing here tonight but we have steady showers over burlington county, town through the shore points and as i showed you earlier, another big batch of rain is on the way. this one right here, very strong storms, even tornado watches down across deep south this is all lifting north and eastward and will impact us tomorrow and it will be heavy for a time. let go through entirety of the future weather. i won't tease you with it anymore. overnight, again, scattered showers and less drizzle, tomorrow morning 7:00 a.m.

anything that is steady could lead to patches of ice in the poconos. it is tomorrow around 9:00 a.m. we will see a big wall have of rain arrive. early part of the commute should be okay, but heaviest rain between ten and three it looks like around lunchtime, 12:00 p.m. maybe pack a lunch it will be raining heavily right around noon. heavy rain around 1:00 as well starting to lift out by two and three for afternoon commute not as heavy but still some scattered showers, scattered drizzle around even through 7:00 o'clock. fog trying to form tomorrow night as well, that could last into wednesday morning. wednesday though it looks better, we will see sun break through cloud and things are definitely, a little easier on the road. overnight light drizzle patchy to go, give you yellow light. morning commute first half looks okay but by 9:00 o'clock off to the south and west, that is when the rain will intensify a bit. p.m. commute, left over pond ing on the road from the earlier rain but actual falling rain will not be as steady as it will be midday.

breaking news at 5:30, jeremiah monel new jersey man wanted for december 19th murder or helps estranged wife tara owe shay watson has been locate by state authorities. he was taken in custody around 3:30 this afternoon in the wood behind a pizza shop, on route 54 this folsom. more than $3,000 reward was being offered for his arrest. also tonight philadelphia 's sugary training taxis now in effect, it is expect to pull in millions of dollars, in new revenue for the city, but the new taxis hitting a sour note with some shoppers.
