by flood waters in northern california. fire fighters drove these boats down the street, yesterday, and about 3,000 people, in sonoma county of been advised to evacuate. the river has listen 5 feet above flood stage, county officials are hopeful that the water will recede tonight. scary images. more heavy rains in northern california, this road , is closed indefinite the ly, after a sinkhole caused it the to collapse yesterday. officials say the creek that runs through a pipe under the road could not handle unusually high water volumes. and, a family in hollywood hills is missing this chunk of its patio, l shaped concrete slab broke off but officials closed road below fearing that the slab might tumble down the hill. they do not know why it collapsed, back to back rain storms did just hit area so that may have something to do with it. heavy snow in colorado caused roof of the conference center to collapse. this was the snowy scene as crews battled a gas leak and a small fire. police say fortunately no one

can you tell there is a change that is taking place across the midsection of the u.s.? look at this, 62 in columbus, ohio. couple hundred miles away in milwaukee, it is below 20 degrees. this is a very drastic drop off that we're also going to experience here, we will all be talking single digits let len sub zero but it will be noticeable when we get to our upcoming seven day. at the moment a frontal boundary is beginning to move its way out of lake erie and northwestern, pennsylvania, we are still in the warm sector of this, this system, so there may be a lingering shore at some point especially this morning but then the cold front crosses through and we are left with a breeze and clearing skies tomorrow tom and a bit of the cool down. that chill settles in. yep, by saturday, starting as early as midday we are likely to see some snow. it looks light. i don't think we have to worry about more than an inch or two but midday on, at day with highs at best in the 30's, that is a ripe condition, certainly for to us see a bit of snow. so maybe weekend number to, that features white stuff here locally. home show kicks off on friday and might be a good excuse to
