"eyewitness news" reporter joe holden is live in north fail where water service has been restored, joe. >> yes, ukee, good evening. the behind me earlier this morning there was a geyser of water shooting here on clear field. at this point the hole is covered, water department has ton their job, just one more example of what has been a very busy week for this utility. 9:00 o'clock thursday morning, and water is shooting like a fire hose, over maureen murphy 's home on the 3400 block of west clearfield in north philadelphia. >> it happened, it is like 9:00 this is morning and i

heard this those. and that water was all the way up here. >> reporter: philadelphia water department says 6-inch line ruptured, neighbors say contractors had been out here all week, it is believed one of those workers hit the line causing a jet of water to spray houses. water was off for most of the day and restored around 3:30. water tenth has had a busy week. the last thursday cbs-3 was on mill brooke road in the northeast, broken hain sent streams of water for hours through six homes. neighbors on millbrooke complained about a sinkhole for months. john dejulian with the philadelphia water tenth says they count on people to report instances, where the streets begin to lose shape, or buckle >> if you see a belly in the street or something going on call us and report it to us. >> reporter: how about this 12300 east boston in kensington on sunday, water main break and other related collapses, gave way to a crater big enough to swallow cars. the water department was out

president sits down with steve croft on 60 minutes to discuss his two term legacy and president-elect donald trump. you can see the interview sunday at 7:00 p.m. new developments in the bridge gate scandal the official misconduct complaint filed against governor chris christie will get a new probable cause hearing. new jersey superior court judge issued that ruling today , this complaint accused governor christie of failing to act to reopen lanes on the george washington bridge. they were ordered closed in an alleged political revenge plot to punish, fort lee's mayor for not endorsing the governor in 203. two of the christie aids were convicted for their rolls in that plot. texas based citgo agreed to pay new jersey $450,000 fine over alleged violations of the motor fuel act, consumer fraud act and advertising regulations. the company was accused of selling unbranded fuel in more than a dozen gas station as cross the garden state. citgo will implement a

compliance program to assure gas stationary tailers are selling right fuel that drivers have paid for. more south jersey police officers will be hitting the streets equipped with brand new body cameras. police in glassboro are already wearing them, $566,000 just released grant money will help 37 additional law enforcement agencies across the state purchase their own equipment. officials say roughly half of the state's police department have body cameras or in the ross zest of acquiring them. number of the violent crimes in philadelphia last year was lowest since 1979. decline was first reported in the philadelphia inquirer. police say encouraging statistics are a step in the right direction, they credit the increased use of the technology and patrol strategy as effective tools. curbing gun violence remain one of the police department's top priorities. authorities are looking for person who shot a family cat four times with a bee-bee gun. last month this cat, whitney was found in seaville cape may

fastest women on wheels and won all kind of para olympic medals. today tatiana mcfadden who was partially paralyzed was back in philadelphia. >> health reporter stephanie stahl was here for special visit. >> reporter: her amazing journey started right here in philadelphia at shriner's hospital where she was first treated. she's gone on to become a world renowned wheelchair athlete, and thousand she's all about sharing her inspiring story, and saying thank you. >> i have four goals, from rio >> reporter: sharing gold tati ana chronic pain fad enis back at shriner's hospital for victory lap, signing photos, posing for pictures and sharing her story with current patients. the 27 year-old has broken racing record around the world , including, being the

first person ever to win grand slam. >> mcfadden wins. >> reporter: four major world marathons in the same year. >> i have always followed a dream and for me that was, that was racing, and that is athletics and i never gave up on it. >> reporter: amazing considering tatiana who has spina bifada started in russian orphanage paralyzed from the waist down she learned to walk on her hand trying to keep up with the other children. >> all of a sudden you are getting medically treated. i they ever had that before for first six years of my life >> reporter: she was adopted in 1994 and brought to shriner 's for treatment. >> i was sick. i needed several surgeries because my legs were behind my back. >> we work on her wheelchair and her sitting balance. >> reporter: there scott, chief of staff at shriner's a he has become a role model to other young patients. >> there are in limits as to what kids can ago establish and they are able to accomplish these remarkable tasks including olympics,
