word crippling, that's for sure, jan, but i think a nuisance, that's the kind of verb and that we will be using here in the next day and a half here. so, you know, we already beginning to see some signs of life out in the midwest, central planes area, where some things are starting to show up on the radar, as this storm begins to get its act together. southern missouri, kansas, yes, all ends up being a pretty substantial ice storm for that area. just the way the warmth is meeting up with the cold, and right across that region, where two combine. and it is just the right temperature for them to see quite a bit of icing in this area. this is going to be a system that rolls its way east, heads to us, and hits us, say, about midday tomorrow, with precipitation at the earliest. you are going to get through the morning without any major hitches here. but locally, at the moment, we are actually just in the midst of a transition. cold front crossed through last night. we will see the clouds clear. and skies do the same, obviously, and we will end up with more sun than anything, the breeze will also be picking up. certainly also going to see colder air, make its way in,
