but it is just rain here. just rain in the steve philadelphia too. too much warmth in place at the moment to support anything but rain. but if you go far enough off to the north a different story. so that brings in our next camera shot. there should be a mountain in the background. clearly the fog has settled in low enough it's making for poor visibility. but there was a lot more snow on the ground as of earlier this morning so that's had a chance to not just get washed away but also melt away here outside pleasant valley middle and high school. this is one spot in particular as we take you next to that freezing rain advisory that could still have some icing issues. up until 7:00 o'clock tonight monroe county specifically is going to continue to be included here for that freezing rain advisory please keep that in mind traveling out and about here the rest of the day up that way could still be a little dicey. looking at the localized zoom, a little bit of lull for some of us. we had round that rolled right over our station headquarters in the last hour or two here in philadelphia. and the rain continues to roll in and the scattered fashion this is all warm front related so the temperature will only

continue to climb here. even though technically cold front is going to sweep past us it doesn't knock the temperatures back all that much. now, there is another storm system that's starting to move on shore right now, those poor folks out in the west united states another major storm moving on in. eventually that will cross the country too and bring us another round of rain, but for now this is the big ticket item in terms of any kind of wet weather. and behind the rain that we've got today expect the temperature to rebound nicely despite a left over shower and passage avenue cold front moderate up to 54 degrees and keep the 50s from that point forward. yeah, through the rest of the seven day. friday thursday looks like really nice day. high pressure will yield to another system as we mentioned moving its way in. that lead to additional showers at it looks like later in the day on friday. an interesting statistic. we only gotten obviously 17 days into the year 2017 let alone the month. nine of those 17 days have already had measurable rain. the total isn't all that impressive. it's only just shy of 1.4-inches or so. we do technically still have rainfall deficit.

think it was interesting here we have actually had about half the month so far with measurable rain. two of those days we had to account for snow equivalent to liquid regardless starting the year off on sort of a wet note out there. at least dreary note. current wind speeds are nice and light. don't worry about your umbrella flipping out. you will find again showers lasting us through the rest of the day. keeping the temperatures with a clouds and rain somewhat at bay but we're already above by a few degrees. what's typical for this day of the year. 42, 40, kind of up and down on i-95 and expecting to rebound to about 45 before it is all said and done. now, tomorrow is the mild defendant day at least for the neck several days of the pack here. it does look to me like thursday will be the nicer of the next few days. by friday again that next system moving in bringing in more clouds and eventually some more rain as the home show is getting underway for the second weekend here, but six of the next seven days are at least 10 degrees above average that's what gets me. i mean this warmth just keeping oncoming. >> gift that keeps on giving. >> i love it.
