kent and sussex, as well, delaware beaches are not immune to this either. right now, here's where we currently stand though. upper 30's, here in philly. further north you go, winds still out of the north making for chilly winds at 31 degrees right now mount pocono. will feel awfully chilly. just marginal freezing from it could still be slick with sleet or even some light snow at times. not much accumulation left over but the winter weather advisory is going to extends in carbon and monroe county now until 6:00 p.m. for the rest of us, no more advisories, watches, warnings, but it is still a day of impact, where the showers are lingering, you have got the clouds, still kind of raw outside, because it is still windy. i see the gusanos worse than 25 miles per hour, which meisha, definitely far cry from yesterday, but still going to notice it. >> oh, absolutely, we are. and it will affect your commute, no doubt about it, looking right now, weaver some video, snapped telephone pole. wires are actually laying across the road right now. take a look at this, some of the damage. >> this certainly 01 shot of several we hear is out there. this is marlton, new jersey,

franklin bridge, betsy ross, commodore barry bridge. then construction from earlier accident out there, on 422 eastbound. this one between armand hammer boulevard and sanatoga. that guardrail repair, more precise, will linger out there until 1:00 p.m. that's probably going to slow some you down on 422. jim, over to you. >> little bit of everything, thanks, meisha. new this morning, authorities are trying to figure out what sparked a fast moving fire that damaged this restaurant in wynnefield height. this occurred just after 12:30 this morning tuchun hing restaurant. firefighters were able to put out the flames in less than 30 minute. fortunately no one was injured. folks down the shore are bracing for high tide as nor'easter continues to cause problems. >> "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabeo live in ocean city where the water is once again rising. jan, good morning. >> reporter: rahel, jim, good morning, that's right, not really raining right now but the winds is still pretty strong. because we are still under that coastal flood warning, and that high wind advisory, you're still a lot of concern

down the shore this morning about moderate flooding and you can see why. flooding specially a concern here in the back bay, you can see, coming to you live, from the corner of tenth street and bay avenue, where the water is coming in quickly now. just about a half hour ago we were about a block closer to the bay. we had to move, so we're safe for you guys this morning. the biggest concern now is this morning high tide. that's scheduled to roll in right around 5:30. so we keep our eyes on. that will but, if you take a look at the video, you can see what cape may county has been experiencing over the past 24 hours or so now. experiencing a drenching rain, a whipping winds, some points, even experiencing wind gusts past 60 miles per hour yesterday. "eyewitness news" was down the shore all the day, morning, evening, and night, we stopped by points like stone harbor, avalon, wildwood, and ocean city, where we saw much of the same thing. a lot of localized flooding. a lot of street under water. now, they weren't really impassable, but it is never

advised to drive through any amount of standing water. so, that's a big concern this morning. fortunately, folks down the shore, at this point of the year, are usually year around residents, they know how to deal with this wicked winter weather. they know the points to get around, some even embraced it. take a listen to this man we caught one yesterday. >> i'm used to it now, going on four years. most people know where the floods are at, like pass i have i can avenue, that's real flooded there. you know? you just got to do what you got to do. >> now, fortunately, right now, here in ocean city, new jersey, we're not seeing widespread power outages, but again, because we do have that chance for more moderate flooding as this morning high tide rolls in, there is a two-hour delay for ocean city schools. there is also a hands full of other delays out there, for complete list, all do you have do is log on to cbsphilly.com. again, rahel, jim, this morning, the high tide will roll in around 5:30, and the water quickly moving up the

>> deadly police involved shooting remains under investigation this morning, in wilmington, delaware. it happened at a home on the 1700 block every west 13th street around 6:00 yesterday evening. now, police tell us officers were responding to armed man behaving irradically. investigators say when officers tried to approach him, he became disturbed, and an officer fired gun, fatally shooting the man, no officers were hurt. >> staying in delaware now, new castle county grand jury has indicted a woman in the arson that killed three wilmington firefighters. charges against beatrice ruiz include murder, arson, wreckless endangering. the house fire trapped wilmington fire lieutenant christopher, and jerry things in the basement, senior far fighter artist hope last month. >> happening today, the officer critically injured at the elevator crash at the criminal justice center will be released from the hospital. sheriff lieutenant paul owens will leave magee rehabilitation hospital today after five months of treatment. his recovery will certainly be celebrated by hess family, as well as philadelphia police officials, who will escort

bear. the same one that in fact brought that severe weather we were just talking about down in georgia. the same one that brought flooding down that way. the same one that brought in the flooding our way. and all of the very strong winds t continues to churn right now over new england. so major storm system for millions of people, thankfully, we are basically past the worse point and today is a day of transition, going to really just break away from the storm as time progresses. live look on "skycam 3". i call this the grim cam. engineer dave grim set up this. wide view of the skyline. okay there is isn't the prettiest shot we've ever seen in the world, it is still damp outside. this is one of those very sturdy cameras we have as well, won't see heck of a loft shake withing this particular camera. but it is still breezy. noticeably so. is it the wind of yesterday? thankfully not. look at this storm system. still out there. still churning away right now, actually even brinking in northwestern pennsylvania, some snowfall, as well. hear locally, as we just reveal that local zoom, you're

left with lingering showers. they could still be showers of sleet, snow, especially head further north, i'm not concerned about additional accumulation. but, it could still be slick. overpasses, bridges, that casino every thing. now, looking back in time here, at some of the peak wind gusts, it was impressive, what we expected really. cape may county rather specifically in cape may itself, the town, 63-mile per hour gusts cents reported in tuckerton, 06-mile per hour ac pick up 54-mile per hour gust and even here in philly, we ended 151-mile per hour gust as well. so no question why there were so many trees that came down, so many power lines that came down. future wind gusts looking markedly improved. we take you forward in time, granted still going to be breezy, because still peaking specially near the shore point, as high as 30 if not tonight 40 plus mile per hour gust. it will continue to gradually decrease. and into tomorrow, you know you don't even have the blue on the ledger here. light breeze all that's left tomorrow. that's a gem. my personal favorite of the next seven days, take a look, even despite the coastal storm, still going to spike to

55 with full sunshine, light wind tomorrow. like it never even happened. over the course of the next couple every days, another cold front crosses, doesn't bring much precipitation, meisha, but will knock our temperatures back although thankfully the weekends looks quiet right now. >> going back to 40, even 39. focusing on today, good morning, you can see, we got wet roadways out there, and all of that high wind that we had, still posting little problem monday -- on your morning commute. >> looking at we normally should, just now moving into the 5:00 hour. but you can see how wet it is out there. just going to slow you down? absolutely this will slow you down. give yourself extra time. looking at the benjamin franklin bridge, looks wet. you can also see your neighbors moving in the westbound direction toward center city, this is heating up, just little bit. ben franklin bridge one of those bridges that kind of lingers out there little bit then start to see it heat up more in the 6:00 hour. already it is. a loft will you get a jump start to your day because we know the wet letter play a
