quiet. no big storms to talk b if you like cooler, feel like, you'll like this forecast. actual air temperatures low 40's, lehigh valley around, and then into philadelphia, then you go to the poconos, where a degree below freezing, not bad for this time of year. palmyra, mt. holly, 40 in willow grove, up in doylestown, winds still gusting now, 25 to around 30 miles per hour, in a lot of locations, and not everybody reporting a gusty hour, but that's going to change over the next few hours, strong winds continue, probably, into at least the first half of the weekend. now, the windchill values, what it really feels like on exposed skin. but the wind, it feels like 30 up in allentown, mid 30's in philadelphia, and millvillement looks like we will be stuck in the positive's with windchills throughout the day today even though temperatures are going to be running above average. snow showers not out of the question up in the poconos. widespread snow showers central western pennsylvania, should stay out of the delaware valley, so just partly sunny skies today. high temperatures, noticeably cooler, compared to yesterday, 48 degrees.

and again, with the wind it, will feel like 30's at the shore, mid 40's, up in the poconos, temperatures holding in the mid three's today. now, colder night tonight. looks like we get down to about 30 degrees. so this will be the first time at or below freezing january 20th. head over to meisha at the philadelphia auto show with some hot rides out there. what's happening at this hour? >> justin, so many times we come to the auto show, speaking about the brand new cars, the 2017's, the 2018's. but what we forget about is the vintage, the classic cars, that so many people love. and if you love the vintage classic cars, you're going to come to the 2017 philly auto show and you're going to be in heaven. take a look at these beauties. not yuck talking about the ferrari's, no, talking the classics, too, we will be looking at these vehicles all

morning long. more of that coming up in a little bit. and i have something really fun coming up in a little bit. but first we have to get outside, take live look. i have to let you know how our commute is looking, 95 south at girard actually looking a-okay. starting to pick up ever so slightly, but overall on a friday we know it is one of the lighter travel days. actually looking okay, but in the world of mass transit, patco starting new schedule tomorrow, on saturday, and all regional rails are starting new schedule on sunday. so make sure to check the schedules on line for the weekend. then we do have some construction in coatesville, route 30 bypass, between route 340 and reese ville road. left lane still blocked. and, just a reminder, getting used to this, but never hurt to have reminder, delaware river bridge is slow, so because that far you will have to use your alternate. typical ones, trenton morrisville, burlington bristol, those are going to be your best bets. and the delaware memorial bridge construction northbound only one lane is open, right

>> president trump was in town yesterday, and thousands flooded the streets to voice their opposition. today's demonstrations remained relatively peaceful, until three police vehicles were vandalized with black spray paint, and a sign of things to be thrown from the crowd and confiscated. once a violation was issued but no after he cents were made, more protests are expected today, the final day of the republican retreat. >> you're looking live at saint charles borromeo is her mayer in wynnewood, where folks are loading buses for the annual, thousands will be at the march this year, anti-abortionist also welcome vice president mike pence, the first vice president to speak at the march in the 44 year history. well, happening today, tens of thousands will be in washington, as anti-abortionists hold their annual march for life. vice president mike pence will speak at the rally. again, he is the 45th, the first time in 44th history, he'll be speaking. in a statement the march for

life folks commend the vice president. time is now 5:37. in business news this morning, big raise for workers at ford. >> that's right. money watch's hena daniels joins us live from the new york stock exchange. hena, how are those numbers yesterday? >> reporter: pretty wild. well, mostly pretty well. wall street the dow extended its gain the day above closing above the 20,000 mark for the first time. dow edged up 32 points, but the nasdaq did lose a point yesterday. the confirmation hearings for president trump's pick to be labor secretary has been postponed, again. this is the third time the hearing for fast-food ceo andrew has been postponed. this time, the hearing has been rescheduled through february 7th. to give time to finish and turn in paperwork. >> workers at ford motor company can expect bonuses of $9,000 on average. that's expected to be the second largest bonus check in company history. 2015 the average bonus check was $9,300. ford tallied 9 billion-dollar

pre-tax profit in north america last year. >> heinz wants to make the monday after the superbowl a national holiday. even gave the day a nickname. heinz is asking people to sign an on line petition, and say if it gets 100,000 signatures, the petition will be sent to congress. heinz has 16 million people call in sick or don't show up the day after superbowl. >> everybody wants a holiday. thanks, hena, have a great weekends. >> this is new one, police are warning the public if someone calls you, asking can you hear me, they're telling to you hang up. if you respond yes, scammers are reporting the voices, they use it to authorize unwanted charges to a phone or utility bill or on credit cards, and the fraudsters will also use your yes response to sign you up for products that you never asked for. if you deny the charges, they then play back your verbal response that they taped, and threaten to take legal action if you don't pay.

>> the backlog of untested rape kits have long been a problem, but now one pennsylvania girl is stepping up to do something about it. eleven year old madison worth started a campaign to have all race kits -- rape kit tested in the u.s. this may not be easy since it could cost as much as $1,800 to test the kits. but worse, determined to gather as many supporters as she can. >> i really want this to go national. so then everybody in the u.s. do sign it. >> madison caught the attention of pennsylvania auditory general, eugene de fast qual. today they started a petition asking every us governor to find funding to test rape kits. >> newspaper study proves many of america's children are drinking their calories throughout the day. the centers for disease control and prevention say sugary beverages, like box juices, sports drinks, and some soda, can add staggering

throughout the afternoon, that's going to bring the windchill value down into the 30's, at times. so check out the weather watch ers. see what's happening across the region, not big difference in the temperatures this hour. ranking generally upper 30's, lower 40's, wind kind of mixing up the air little bit. so we don't get the normally cold spot, like we see a lot of time on clear night. one of the spots is up in gilbertsville, usually real colder than everywhere else. right now 39 degrees, eileen's house, partly cloudy skies, winds out of the west 6 miles per hour, closer to recalled if, we go into new jersey at this hour, where kerry hug nuns mt. laurel checking in at 42 degrees under mostly cloudy skies. the breeze out of the northwest, it looks like, then down to south jersey, upper 30's towards the shore, william, mostly clear skies in woodbine. you got breeze coming in 4 miles per hour. but again, still gusty winds the morning into the afternoon probably 30 miles per hour. wind energy continues to start our weekends. check this number out. temperatures when you average up the highs and lows for the month, almost 6 degrees above

average. that's impressive for january. and the precipitation now above average over quarter inch. that's good thing. highest temperatures so far this month, 67. we're not going to see that, lowest temperature 12, won't get that cold either. but big range in the numbers right there. but overall, january will end warmer than average. we had some snow showers, western and central pennsylvania, some coming into the poconos through the morning hours, afternoon, most of the delaware valley. partly sunny skies. storms, low pressure system moving across the canadian maritime, will continue to pump in the west northwest flow. you can see that in the clouds, moving in from west to east. maybe couple of snow showers through the poconos later into the weekend. our next storm system will be a cold front coming in monday, just reinforce the cold air, no moisture with it, cool pocket of air builds in monday, that will be our coldest day out the next seven. overall pattern casino every evens out the temperatures close to average over the next seven days. forecast high today, 48 degrees. but again, the winds, will

feel like the three's, check out the extended forecast, jen lip 40's through the weekends, quiet. wednesday next chance for storm, in the form of some rain or snow. all right, meisha, let's see what's happening, 2017 auto show rolls in town this weekend from the latest models to some hollywood rides. you may recognize, plenty to see. meisha there this morning with the with a preview. good morning. >> reporter: yes, justin, good morning to you and everyone. happy friday. no better place to be than here at the philly auto show. we will talk about the bells and whistles coming up. first i want to take you outside. look at the morning commute. overall things are looking okay, levels are look okay. we do have an accident in pottstown, we do have downed pole there, as well, shark lot street and mog ers mill rid. plus mass transit, patco starting new schedule starting tomorrow saturday, all regional rails are starting new schedule on sunday. so before you head out the door today suggest maybe taking a peak at your schedules specially if you're weekend commute.

route 30 between route 340 and reese ville road. left lane is block l still. it is still blocked now. we head into the 6:00 hour. if it lingers out there in the roll rush hour, the 7:00 hour, it will slow things down. delaware river reminder slow, slow, slow. if this is for example one of the first times tuning in and just hearing about this, i can tell you right now that your alternates for this bridge, scutters falls, burlington bristol bridge, they get vest but i in the 6:00 hour. you will have to leave little early even though it is a friday and lesser traveled day, i can tell you right now it will get busy, probably ten to 15 minutes, earlier today. also, taking a live look outside, you guys, ben franklin bridge, looking a-okay. but, without further a do, i have to talk to my main man, kevin over here. because we are standing in this brand new exhibit, the hollywood ride. you guys, take a look at this. you know what i love about this so much? kevin is letting me drive. that's what i thought.
