skydeck, couldn't find a snowflake anywhere across philadelphia earlier on this morning, in fact, we had nothing at all in southeastern pennsylvania, it was all southeast of i95. but regardless, at this point, we are done with that first disturbance. now sort of waiting on the negligence one. taking a look at snow totals, short list, but we verified pretty darn well if i do say so myself. north cape may, ends up one of the amounts here, 3.8 inches fell there. out in harrington you had 1.6, he can actually inch fell in newark, delaware, both atlantic city and medford recording just a trace of light snow. again there is other spot that add into it. even outside cape may courthouse, there was blanket of snow on the baseball field here, earlier on, even just within the last hour and a half or so. but his is live picture. a lot had a chance to melt away see look closely off on some of the treats, still little snow, even on the roofs looks like it melted away. officially an inch did fall in this location, now the sun is out. however, look off to the west, you can see, the combination of the snow squawls just talked about all winds driven.
12:20 pm
so across specially chester county right now, lancaster county, lower schuylkill river valley, that's where we are finding sorry, zest can you hand a river valley finding squawls beginning to pop up. and some that far will very likely survive as it rolls our way. so we keep an eye on that for you. we are going to see this first disturbance leave, then the next one, already moving in. clipper system and clippers by their very nature tends to zip across the us, and this is certainly not going to be an exception. so, why do we call them alberta clippers province of alberta up here in canada. so, that's where they originate from very typically, how they get their name. but what are the characteristics of these little guys? because originate in western canada, given alberta clipper, but move so quickly not only they clip right past you, do they have a chance to help reinforce the chill since coming from the very cold place, but they also tend to bring very little moisture with them, because they're not able, don't have enough time, to gather more ties, say, from the gulf of mexico for
12:21 pm
example. what we are going to find out of the next clipper system pretty much true to form clipper system, maybe little bit of rain mixing in, see it in future weather, early tomorrow morning, couple of light snow showers may survive as far south maybe as philadelphia county. but it will be short lived. so we have to keep an eye on that, maybe snow flares through the early morning drive. all sort of lift north. lehigh valley pocono region best chance for accumulation, first half of the day. then we see couple of rain showers lifting in here through the second half of the day toward the evening rush. so sort of these off and on rain and snow showers across the philly area, and immediate vicinity, best chance for accumulation goes to the lehigh valley and poconos, if you are far enough south in delaware, jersey, where you have the snow today you get nothing basically tomorrow here. so, here are the bullet points, based on location, one to 3 inches again light snow, through lehigh valley and poconos it time, the city and the suburbs, light rain, snow showers, very little or no accumulation at all, mainly dry southern new jersey and delaware forecast. we look at the area winds

speeds, most part coming out of the west northwest right now. and they are pretty light. you have got couple of renegade teens out there. we move forward in the forecast, take a look what happens. reinforcing shot of colds, yep, you bet. take a look. mid upper 30s at best for us, starting on groundhog day. remember, if you need a refresher course on how groundhog day works, of course prognosticating groundhog, if he sees his shadow it means six more weeks every winter despite sunshine. but if he doesn't that means we will have early spring. so time will tell. so ask yourself -- >> i would say stick about me. >> i won't steer you wrong. >> groundhog you can't trust. >> i brought my boots in today. better be prepared. >> absolutely. >> oh, well, bring them home today. thank you, kate. >> i well, there is now a new raining miss universe. iris, from france, was crouds last night in manila philippines. she was born in northern france. iris is pursuing a degree in dental surgery. she hopes to advocate for dental and oral care around the world, host steve harvey
