then we have another accident route 45 at lincoln road tractor trailer verse a car here we are still showing posted speed. that is a good reminder that it is still early and tark but as we row gress these accidents even if they are pulled off on to the side streets, that will let you know that can slow you down right now, however it is not in that area. we have another accident this warminster still out there for quite sometime county line road at madison avenue for those in that neck of the the wood. damage polled in that area we have a overturn tractor trailer new jersey turnpike on ramp to route 206 that ramp is partially block and we have construction to talk about yeah in the next 15, jim, over to you. thanks, meisha. latest on the breaking news, hostage standoff at vaughn correctional center in smyrna new castle county. >> largest mens prison in the state of delaware. we are told negotiations continued for release of two staff members held hostage since yesterday morning. at least one staff member was injured, he has been treated for non-life threatening injuries. authorities have been in radio

contact with the inmates and inmates have contacted wilmington newspaper. >> we have team three coverage of the prison standoff, "eyewitness news" reporter jan carabao is in the cbs-3 news center with new audio of the the hostage negotiations. >> but lets begin with trang do live in smyrna where there were new developments overnight, trang, good morning >> reporter: good morning, rahel and jim. again, those two prison staff members remain under the inmates hostage rather and at this point they have released two corrections officers overnight but we are told overnight what happened was 14 inn hates were allowed to leave and they are being held in ative rent secure facility here, it is not clear whether the 82 inmates still with the hostages in building c are staying there voluntarily or being held begins their will. lets look at video of chopper three above the scene. this started just after 10:30a h when inmates took four prison staff members his stage at building c at james vaughn correctional center in smyrna.

two corrections officers were released and treated for non- life threatening injuries. governor john car carney was here last night and state the police negotiators have been in contact via radio. in phone calls to the local paper, the news journal, they blame it overdone old trump and recent actions and hade number of tea hand. here's a clip there one of those very intense phone calls >> it is what is going on is first up with the co's how co 's treat the inmates. the co's treat the inmates. it has to change. education, we want education first and foremost. we want rehabilitation programs that works for everybody. we want money to be allocated so we can know what is going on this is prison, the budget, for the budget. keep on playing games. >> reporter: delaware secretary of home land security said in a news conference yesterday that officials are not making any promises to these inmates

until hostages are released. meanwhile we are learning that a number of groups plan to rally here for inmates and their dehand. that will happen at 10:00 a.m. outside prison but for now i'm live from smyrna, delaware trang do for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". back to you. now vaughn correctional center is an enormous facility , largest for men in delaware, 2500 inmates are being held there right now, it houses inmates from minimum to maximum security along with state's death row. this standoff is this its first in 2004 an inn hate was killed after he raped a counselor and held her his stage for seven hours. recorded phone calls outline moments police spent negotiating with the wristers in inside. >> during calls inmates reveal there are injuries inside. some light on this really alarming subject. how serious is this? >> type 1 diabetes is still the most common form in youth but we are seeing alarming growth in the number of kids with type 2 diabetes. it's certainly related to the rise in obesity. unfortunately, many parents are unaware of this so their children are unaware. >> what are the other factors contributing? >> type 2 diabetes runs in families. so does unhealthy eating habits and other lifestyle habits. >> as a mom of seven, this is just so concerning. what can we do to try to stop this? >> a great place to start is to develop a plan as a whole family. you certainly want to work on increasing water intake. you might have to work on that with your kids. eat more fruits and vegetables. certainly find ways to make favorite foods healthier. then really make physical activity more fun. >> get out there and bicycle with them or play tag with
