i want to back out of the way and give you a live look, that is the taxi cab right now this happened a little bit after 3:00 this afternoon. we're told cabdriver was actually inside his cab when the female passenger, she was assaulted by a half naked man who apparently was under some kind of substance. we have cell phone video, the man drove, got the in the driver's seat of the car, drove the car through rittenhouse square. i want to repeat that again, drove the car, through rittenhouse square with hundreds of people around, beautiful day outside, a lot of people out enjoying the weather. then eventually, stopped on walnut street in front have of the barnes and noble. good samaritan came out, pulled the guy out of the car police were here within moments. cabdriver was not hurt, female passenger was not hurt, this man was taken in custody. ukee, did have a chance to speak to that cabdriver just a few moments after this all unfolded, lets listen. >> crazy guy, he came from the passenger side, and then, he opened up, the passenger side

door, and then he grabbed her from the back and dragged her around the street. >> reporter: that was michael emmanuel with the local cab company, this happened at the 3:00 o'clock. the amazing thing, is back out of the way, cab actually is autopsy begins the curb but that cab, went over the curb, and could have gone back in the park and reversed it could have gone into the store making it an extremely, dangerous situation, again, this man, is behind bars right now. that woman and cabdriver both set to be okay. reporting live from rittenhouse square, david spunt for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". >> thanks very much. close to 100 septa train cars remained out of service tonight, crack where is found beneath many of the trains this weekend and those cars are now permanently out of service. imagine it has been a very long nine days for the assali family but today, well, they arrived in allentown, so very glad to now be back, permanently here, in the u.s. now this afternoon the family reunited and welcomed by governor tom wolf himself after six members arriving here in late january, were turned around by customs and border protection agents. the assali's are from syria. they applied for visas more than 13 years ago. in 2003. they were vetted and approved, headed to the u.s. to escape the war, to live with relatives in allentown. president trump's travel ban went in effect and when they arrived in philadelphia on saturday january 28th they were turned around, and then sent back to the damascus. >> i was thinking i am going back to syria, my life was ruined, going in the military because my age in syria they will take me to the military and i don't know what will happen. >> i was not thinking that

identity theft continues to be a big problem. recent study shows more than 15 million americans, have personal and financial information stolen last year. while the rise of chip based credit cards in the united states has increased security in some cases, they have also forced conn artists to change their tactics. correspondent dana jacobson explains. >> there is nothing i could have done to stop it, there was a bank, problem. >> reporter: mark found out hackers had taken over his bank account last week when he got a series of e-mail notifications that his on line id and pass word had been change.

>> i thought budweiser coming to america spot and honda's year book commercial where is my two favorite spots of the night. to are two different reasons. budweiser did a great job of telling a thoughtful story and standing for something even if they were going to get the a little blow back for that. i also think that, year book spot was a great way of using humor, celebrities and really effective way. it shows super bowl spots, great super bowl spots can be poignant and funny. >> they tell a story, no question about that. >> 1ad and we heard about it intori's piece that created some controversy. people didn't understand what it was or what it was all about. talk about that. >> sure. so every year one brand really tries to push the envelope as far as they possibly can, go daddy has ton this, peta has done it. if you can get an ad to advance in the super bowl you can get a lot of publicity for that like they have but this is first time in recent memory where a brand has really gotten push back from the nfl

mary lee never thought she would see birth of her grandson, the six five-year old was diagnosed with the deadly brain tumor ten years ago. doctors gave her just 15 months to live. >> i was devastated. i was thinking, my kids are still in college, i haven't seen anyone get married. >> reporter: golf ball sized tumor was surgically removed there her brain and then after radiation, chemotherapy mary was given a experimental vaccine as part of the ten year study. immuno based study is tailormade to fight cancer attacking microscopic cells that chemotherapy and radiation leave behind. >> it is a way to teach the bodies immune system, how to recognize cancer cells, and then go directly go to the cans tore try to kill those sells and eradicate tumor. >> reporter: sixteen patient where is given three round of the vaccine, nearly 40 percent survived more than eight years typically less than 3 percent of people diagnosed with glioblastoma are alive after five years.
