bridge, aramingo avenue, double lane closures, now this starts at 8:00 p.m. t goes through 5:00 a.m. and this will run us all week all the way through friday. heads up on that as well. right now, still dark out, still early, everyone still -- still draferlg at posted speeds. >> welsh rd. near north whales road. avoid the area if at all possible, if you can't, just heads up, it will slow you down. >> back to you. >> thank you, new this morning, flames tear through a rowhouse in philadelphia's arrow gate section. eyewitness video shows flames erupt g at a home overnight. >> jan carabeo live near the scene on jasper street. good morning, jan. >> jim, rahel, good morning, firefighters were able to get this fire under control just after 1:30 this morning, huge fire, two alarm err, fortunately there are no injuries to report this morning. however, two families are without a home today. you can see behind me, just how much damage was done by this overnight fire.

fire crews are still on the scene an investigators look for cause. take a look at the video, see how hard this fire raged overnight. this is viewer video take friend 3500 block of jasper street. i was able to speak to both families impacted by this fire. there was family of six inside the neighboring home when this fire broke out. three adult, three children were all able to get out safely. meantime the man who owns the home where the fire started got out with his life. but, unfortunately, his two dogs did not. we're told he woke up in the middle of the night to find fire in his kitchen. wasn't able to get to his dogs before he had to get out to safety. neighbors tell us he bought this home here on harrow gate just last year. this morning he escaped with only some clothes on his back, his nab ores have already pitched in to help. >> he don't got, you know, neighbor give something, because he left everything inside because the house. the fire is very bad, very bad. never i see something like that in my life. i leaf over here like 15

years, never i see something. >> now the red cross is on scene this morning. they tell us that both families have a place to stay the night. but they will be back out here later on today to help both of these families get back on their feet. meantime, fire investigators are still trying to determine a cause. we are reporting live in harrowgate this morning, jan carabeo, "eyewitness news," jim, rahel, back to you. >> thank you, meanwhile not fire -- far from there, another quick moving fire tore through this fire. 3400 block of joyce street, just after 11:00 last night, they had the fire under control in about 20 minutes. no one was injured, fortunately, no word yet on what sparked that blaze. we are learning more about the problems that have prompted septa to pull up close to 100 rail cars off its market frankford line. inspector found cracks in the event boxes of 58 cars. but because many of those cars are joined to others, a total

of 96, the event not weight bearing area, but in two of the fleet cars, it spread to what is called the car's body bolster. they say the bolster major support system for the train car, hence the cause for concern. septa says commute kearse expect delays in over-crowding as they repair the cars. >> a wild scene in philadelphia's rid end how squares as the man robs cab driver and steels attacks i. take a look at this, eyewitness video caught the scene at 18th and walnut yesterday afternoon, they say it all started at 20th and locust, where a half naked man jumped into the cab, while the driver got out to help a female passenger, the man drove off. a cab hit another car. >> this guy came barreling through the park, going about 60 miles an hour, all we hear is scraping and he was trying an attack, trying to run everybody over, and as soon as he saw him, everyone jumped into the bucials.

he came across the seat, hit another car. >> and the suspect was taken to hahnemann hospital. he is facing robbery charges. the driver and passenger were not seriously hurt. and the search this morning is on for purse snatch err praying on women in the northwest section of the city. police tell us the man seen here has robbed four women since thursday. the robbery happened in germantown, east oaklane, mt. airy. they say the man practically knocked the woman to the grounds, then grabbed their purses and jumped into a car. the get-away car is described as burgundy or maroon older model vehicle, possibly abu glik san francisco court of appeals will hear oral arguments, like telephones, this afternoon, over president trump travel and refugee ban, the court will hear from lawyers from the federal government and the state suing the president. the justice department argues the ban is a matter of national security, washington and minnesota say the ban mandates discrimination. pennsylvania agrees with the state. i believe this executive order rose for religious

grnchts fear there could be more victims after they arrest a bucks county man for child sex abuse. anyone who has had contact with this man to come forward. williams thomas charged with the rape of at least five young children and possession every child pornography. detectives found 1,000 pairs of children's underwear while searching the suspect's falls township home. crimes date back as 40 years. >> well, caught on camera, the frightening moments inside dearborn michigan police station when two men stormed the building, guns drawn. the chaos began after a traffic stop. >> i will file a complaint. >> after the stop the men immediately made good on their promise to file the complaint, but didn't go empty-handed. two men stormed the police station with long guns drawn around their next, and masks

hint of icing going on across northern most counties up toward the i80 interchange. watch for this. could be some slick travel. it is mainly freezing rain or sleet issue. but, the temperature will continue to climb. so it is really just this morning, into the next few hours, for the freezing rain advisory all posted carbon, monday rope, on north, freezing rain advisory until 10:00 a.m. then we see this stack come, in the one currently moving its way after right now into southwestern pa. steadier batch of rain comes in later this morning, on its heals, another storm system will actually develop. so there is two separate storms over the course of three days, and huge drop on the thermometer inbetween. let's time all of this out. looking ahead to later this morning, ten armor so, give or take, steady batch of rain coming on in here. that will last us up until about lunchtime. should catch break for the evening rush, could definitely be worse timing here, at least commutes won't be majorly impacted, say, for that up north. and then, probably have few left over showers even into early tomorrow morning, but
