newscast. live from center city, natasha brown, cbs-3 "eyewitness news" a search is on for suspects responsible for shooting a teen through the window of a house. shooting happen just were midnight on the 6700 block of 15th street in west oak lane. police tell us natalie 18 year-old rick tim did manage to make it to his neighbor's house and rushed to the hospital where he died a short time later a at this point no war on the motive. philadelphia police interrupt a violent home up racial in southwest philadelphia overnight. officers rescued two elderly woman after receiving calls from concerned neighbors. news". well, it is a frigid but sunny start to the day and we might be looking at a weekend warm up. meteorologist katie fehlinger is live on the cbs-3 skies deck with a closer look at temperatures. hi there, katie. >> hi rahel. this afternoon is unfolding as a very cold one for the delaware valley in the wake of the storm that came through yesterday. it ushered in that cold, on the northwest side of the storm system too, you started to see that really vicious wind kick in yesterday. it is still, breezy, dairy say blustery out here on the sky deck right now, but, it is also really cold when it just comes to the air temperature. but two combined makes for frigid feels like values. lets take a quick look at storm scan, not much stormy weather to track. we have got more sun then anything. patchy clouds overhead but we will eventually see these clouds build in with time. meanwhile if it were heart of the july this would be a really welcome sight, wouldn't it in trust me, it is freezing this is right outside margate city at beach patrol there. yeah, this is what it feels like right now. we have not veered too much

taking you to one of the spots where we ended up with a decent amount of snow in bethlehem here as we overlook 378, south mountain in the the distance here. beautiful wintry scene. dicey trying to get around with these icing issues, but we are going to see a warming trend this is next couple days to help moderate the temperature, obviously melt some of this away and that will be good news, certainly not a fan of the snow. i know you aren't. many are but a lot have you aren't as well. lets take a look at storm scan next. thinks all calm as can be, we have a couple thin cloud, for the most part though, it is a clear sky. see this disturbance off to the north and west allowing more cloud cover to build in with time here today. poconos might see a quick snow shower at some point tonight and that that is reflected in the future weather here. six or 7:00 o'clock. it should not accumulate but notice a few flakes traveling up toward ski resorts for a long weekend, something like. that we will get into tomorrow temperatures moderate up. we will see slivers of sunshine through these clouds but mainly a cloudy day and then come sunday comes this

next storm. this looks like a big deal for new england at this point. do i think we at worst to have deal with sleet up around northern most counties of the lehigh valley, poconos, at least at on set since it will still be on the chilly side but for philadelphia and any points south of this, just rain, out of it, and then again that comes on sunday. in the meantime though, with a series of systems working their way through what we will have is another drop on the thermometer. so while weekend is actually warming up, come monday there will be a spill in from some colder air that knocks temperatures back a little bit more. the here's where we stan, we are either at or below freezing every where. it is a cold start to the afternoon, again, we showed you earlier in the broadcast feels like values. you have to knock 10 to 15 degrees off. rest of the day 34 degrees, at best, any sunshine yielding cloud cover and still cold outside but with the blanket of clouds tonight we will bottom out to 30 and then looking forward into our "eyewitness news" seven day we will take it, not shorts and t-shirts weather, but flirting
