a developing story out of burlington county, fire fighters rush to a burning house, and one fire fighter is rushed to the hospital. new this morning, more information about a crash in north philadelphia that sent three people to the hospital. and a final farewell to a delaware correctional officer, killed in the prison standoff, law enforcement across the country are among the horners. today is sunday, february 12th, good morning everyone i'm jan carabao. lets get over to meteorologist justin drabick with eyewitness weather, good sunday morning, justin. i hear rain and wind is in our

route 130 this delran, crews placed flames under control within the hour, fire tighter was rush to the hospital with minor injuries. new this morning, a driver is arrested for dui after a collision in the hunting park section of north philadelphia. this happened near the intersection of the broad street and hunting park avenue , you cane there that large piece of this car are scattered in the the middle of the treat. police say three people were inside that sedan when it crashed into two parked cars, one person in the the car was seriously injured, cause of the crash is under investigation. also overnight, two teens are recovering after being shot outside of a south philadelphia apartment. it happened here in the river view apartments on south fourth street near washington avenue. now police say a group of teens was hanging out in this parking lot when someone fired four or five shots from the street, one teen was hit in the leg and another was grazed by a bullet, so far in word on any suspects. a shooting in north philadelphia leads to two men being in the hospital this happened on the 2500 block of

cecil b. moore avenue just after 2:00 o'clock this morning. now both of the victims are in their 30's and they are in stable condition, so far no word on any suspects. lieutenant steven floyd is laid to rest more than a week after he became first correctional officer this delaware to die in the line of duty. "eyewitness news" reporter cleve bryan has more on how lieutenant floyd is being remembered. >> reporter: this life he was a tatter, friend, mentor, this death a hero, lieutenant steven floyd was killed last week when he and two other correctional officers as well as the counselor were taken hostage by inmates at a maximum security prison in smyrna, delaware. fellow officers say floyd died after warning others of an ambush put him in the closet and the officer had come in, lieutenant had come in the building to enter into the building and sergeant floyd yelled to them and told them it was a trap to get out. >> reporter: floyd was remembered saturday during a private funeral at delaware state university.

a west philadelphia community gathered for a candle light vigil in memory of winnie harris, gunman shot and killed her in her very own home on holy street more than a week ago. harris was executive director at uc green a non-profit that plants trees and cleans up the local community. he so far police have not made any arrests, harris's funeral will be at christ community church this university city tomorrow. cumberland county authorities have identified the man shot and killed in bridgeton by police, 23 year-old darryl fuquay was shot the to death near north freemont and south avenue on try. cumberland county prosecutor's office says the officers shot the hand after a foot chase. police found a gun near the victim but they have not yet said why they were chasing him or if he fired a shot at them. a close call for a philadelphia police officer after a frightening encounter with an suv in west philadelphia. after police watched an suv strike a park car near 62nd and market streets, officers

remember the many contributions that she has made to her community. they called her a sister friend, a neighborhood stewart , worked hard to headache her community beautiful. miss winnie was executive director and long time volunteer coordinator of uc green a non-profit that plants trees and cleans up philadelphia she formed partnerships and coalitions making a positive impact. we have about been tell her friend contacted police when miss win difficult not the show up for a meeting and when police arrived they found her unresponsive on the second floor of her home in the 300 block of north holy street. police say that she had been shot several times and pronounced on the scene. the as a vigil those who knew her well are asking for justin . >> if anyone necessary any information. >> speak up. >> that can help us lease speak up. there is a $20,000 reward, for information and we are begging people to please, come out

show well in their kennel. they have to get home. i know from the dog a adopted here marvin who had been here quite a while but once you get them them they blossom. >> who is this. >> violet. >> she had a sister named lavender, but she's in poster because she is a dog had just does in the show well in a kennel. they just don't like it. you can imagine if your own pet was in the kennel for any length of time, they might be barking, jumping and that can turn off the potential adopter , and, you know, she is wonderful. >> yes. >> she's house trained which we know because the adopter, yes, has been, has had the dog in the house and that is than the been a problem. violet loves cats. >> good. >> she's ready to go. is there so many great animals when you can get them from that shelter environment which they want which the an has show better and then get them in your house, and you have got these valentines gifts that last a lifetime.
