>> right now officers are uncomfortable and uneasy. >> reporter: since floyd's death 17 officers quit or filed for retirement. >> high biggest concern is that we have another panel. we have another investigation. and they put together another thick book. nothing will become of it. >> we need immediate action. >> reporter: christopher bullock represents concerns of guard and inmates as chairman of the delaware coalition of prison reform and justice and he believes a federal agency not the just delaware officials should investigate prison system and says there have been sufficient studies in the last decade so time to start making changes right now >> other reports that are there, been collecting dust, we need help from the governor 's office and general assembly and pressure from the community to make sure that justice is a reality. >> reporter: so that is three and a half months from now before those initial recommendations. meanwhile governor says he is talking with his budget people about any possibilities for increasing, pay or other things for retention.

to combat the opioid epidemic. governor christie committed his final year in office toward addressing drug addiction in the state. on his radio show last night the governor down played speculation he may accept a role in the trump administration. new york city jury has quick a new jersey man in the killing of six year-old etan patz in 1979. pedro hernandez confessed to choking patz but his attorney says hernandez was mentally ill and made it up. patz vanish on may 25th on his way to school and his face was first to appear on milk cartons. jury reviewed evidence for many hours before they reached a verdict. >> we worked really hard, and it was a long time, 61 days of trial for me and more for some of the others. it was a very difficult process. but we looked at everything very carefully and in the end we came to a very clear, lodge will california, result. i think it is right. >> reporter: it took jury nine days to reach a verdict. earlier prosecution ended in

well, more than a dozen boats were damage when fire swept through a portion of this north jersey marine a fire fighters arrived around 1:30 this afternoon to find several boats burning on the dry dock at bellmawr's sea port inlet marina. fire was placed under control in an hour, no injuries reported, the cause still being looked into. well villanova university singers dressed in tuxedos serenaded student, faculty and staff for valentines day.
