cloudless skies, temperatures in the 60s. it interested hard to believe it's february. cleve is soaking up the sun at the art museum and we'll check in with lauren casey. hey, lauren. >> that tash a. don't need by coat just have a little jacket, feels suburb out here today. and they're kind enough to wait until after sunset to enjoy the sunshine today and high temperatures cruising up into the 60 degree range. we were 1 degree shy of record temperature in philadelphia at 68 degrees. we tied record high 67 allentown and down the shore, that's nice, high temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. right now mild on this saturday eave. 61 philly and 60 allentown and 60 right now in dover and as we head into tomorrow that jet stream and ridge will stay in place so another round of high temperatures running about 0 degrees above average and we'll

control of the suv. >> in popular west philadelphia sandwich shop opened at a brazen burglary and sometime early friday the business was broken into through the exhaust sim on the roof and the owner says thieves took away thousands in cash and they also got money that was earmarked for a bone marrow charity. today customers are dropping off donations all day for the charity. >> i think it's very nice and that's what we're known for, brothers to be brotherly love and i am born and raised in south philly i'm a proud philadelphia girl i really am. and so that's what we're all about. we stick together and it should be like that everywhere. >> good to see. so far police have not made arrest in this case. we'll stay on top of the latest details. also the woman police say stabbed an 8-year-old girl in the face with a steak knife friday arm made her first appearances in court.

anita oh was there as family members came to the woman's defense. >> shielding herself with paperwork the 21-year-old duc ducked into a police cruiser after her arraignment saturday morning and made no comment to the cameras. >> is there anything you want to say. >> she's accused of astabbing an 8-year-old girl in the face on the 500 block of macdade boulevard in collingdale. >> there was a chaotic scene. >> she allegedly stabbed a second grader who lives below with a steak knife. >> it was a mistake she's not a criminal. she's a child of jesus christ. >> this woman who aheard period. at the arraignment identified herself as the suggest suspect's mother and would not give her name. >> the child push. >> she didn't intend to stab the girl. >> collingdale police say a dispute over babysitting may have led to the violent encounter they believe tupz likely the girl was intended target and while we're told the

>> one person was hurt after a sink hole swallowed up two cars in california and both cars dropped 0 feet in studio city they lowered a ladder to get a woman out of the hole and she's expected to be okay. the water was seen raging into the hole underneath the roadway and they believe recent rain storms are what caused the street to crumble. >> mean time california bracing for a wave of torrential rains today average rainfall triggered unusual number of land slides. officials say there have been five mudslides along highway 50 in the past week block being lanes of traffic. crews are now on the highway putting up fences and also other barriers trying to hold the mudd in place. lauren they're clearly having a hard time out there and saturating california. >> absolutely, yeah. >> we could not be more pleasant here. >> what a way to kickoff a
