break the record last september in 1948 by two solid degrees in the city, so, hopefully you had a chance to get out and enjoy it, and you know, even though we are going to see little bit of cool down in the days ahead, even as early as today, it is still above average through the seven day. couple of systems going to work their way through, get you out the door, storm storm, nice and clear, virtually no cowed cover. eventually do have warmfront lifting in here. by tomorrow night. leading into wednesday. that doesn't look like it will have ton every moisture with it, but it is the next chance for some rain showers. meantime temperatures as they stand yes, gotten little cooler in the early morning hours, usually right around this time, pre-dawn, final minute leading up to the sunrise, at their coolest and this is about where we're problem bring going to bottom off here today. forty-four at philadelphia international airport, mid 30's most outlying suburbs, even near the shore point, day goes on i expect the day to still be above average. reminder though 57 is still about 12 degrees above where we normally would top off. fifty-six at the shore.

in the sunshine in the poconos as well, your high, 45 there, but coming up like i mention, this is one of the cooler days of the pack, meisha. i'll let you know when we expect to break the next record coming up. >> thank you so much. and right now you can see, we have live chopper three, there you go, over the overturned tractor-trailer i was just mentioning up teddiesing in mt. laurel. the driver was injured. transported to the hospital by the way this truck was caring a bunch of produce, hard to kind of see, getting some in and out here. but if you will, hang with us, because when you look at this overturned tractor-trailer it does not look good. it looks like mess around this situation. so where is it? new jersey turnpike northbound past route 73, all lanes are blocked. that alternate is going to be 295. we do have reports that you're just kind of squeezing by on the shoulder. i would take that amount that the 295-6789 then another accident here, allentown road right now closed between camp rock hill road and butter creek road. alternate for this area will be route 309. and then we have a third

accident, out there, in westville. 295 southbound before route 130. you are dropping just little bit less than posted speeds, so avenue all take it easy today, jim, over to you. >> thank you, meisha. now on developing story this morning, philadelphia police are looking for clues that would lead them to two men wanted for a home invasion. >> the victim was found gagged and tide two days after men broke into his home, "eyewitness news" reporter trang do live in juniata park to tell us more about this, good morning, trang. >> reporter: well, good morning, rahel, jim, the man's neighbor describes him as nice guy always helping people fixing, baffled as to why his neighbor was terrorized like there is take look, all happened right here in this garage, and in this home, above the garage. and basically the police are telling us that they're not sure if anything was take friend either of the locations just yet. but they do believe that this man was targeted. he's currently at aria-torresdale hospital in stable condition. and police say he had serious injuries to his face, as well as his arms and legs after being tied up for two days.

and this happened around 11:00 y the 50 year old man was working in his open garage, on the 4200 block of neilson street, when two mask men entered with a gun. they forced him into his home and up to second floor bedroom, but police say he was bound with electrical tape, gagged with a rag, and pistol pl whipped. the victim was not found until almost 48 hours later. around 5:00 p.m. sunday that's when the man concerned brother broke into the home looking for him, and found him still tied up. >> we don't know if anything has been taken here. we have yet to determine that. we do know that he was assaulted, and it does appear that some sort of planned attack, this crime was planned out. >> and investigators say the garage here has both interior annex tear year cameras, they captured a lot of this crime on camera. they also found another clue inside the home, and air soft gun covered in gun believed to

be used in this beating but for now, live in juniata park, i'm trang do, cbs-3 "eyewitness news" we're still waiting to hear on the conditions every three pedestrians, after a car struck them, on city avenue. now, this happened shortly before 10:00 last night, near monument road in wynnefield heights. the car's windshield was smashed during the impact. police directed traffic around the vehicle as they investigated. no word yet if charges will be filed. meanwhile, three other people are recovering in the hospital this morning, after a car crashes into a building in north philadelphia. this happened on the 1600 block of bouvier street, right near oxford street. the car smashed into the property's front railing, just before 10:00 last night. police are trying to figure out what caused that crash. >> philadelphia police are trying to catch a killer who

shot a man yesterday, in the city kingsessing section. "eyewitness news" on the 1300 block of 53rd street, where 27 year old plan was shot once in the head shortly before 6:00 saturday evening. victim rushed to the hospital where he later died. so far no arrests. chester police are investigating a shooting at convenience store, it is unclear right now if the shooting happened outside or inside the chester shop and save near ninth and central. this happened around 8:00 last night. man was returned to crozer-chester medical sent war gunshot wounds to his abdomen. >> president trump marks one month in office today looking to refocus his administration and cross off key items on his agenda. among them replacing the affordable care act unveiling revised immigration and travel ban, and finding a new national security advisor. don champion picks up the story. >> president trump said sunday at his sole called winter white house, interviewing several candidates to replace ousted national security advisor michael flynn. harwood turned down the offer

out. it was awesome. everybody sort of, you know, beating the cabin fever. throwing the windows open, we actually turned the heat off at my house for the afternoon, which was so nice, we are towelly expecting this trend to continue and for mid to late february, keeping in mine, there are some minor problems that come along with this kind of warmth too soon. we don't have any snow pack. that could post down the road for crops, regardless might a well make the most of it while we have it. nor warmth on the way. meanwhile we talked about the san antonio storms, very heavy thunderstorms rolling their way through specially eastern texas right now, this is our next storm system, though it, will lift warmfront into the area by tomorrow. that bridges with it of course another warming trend. meanwhile, outside, i have to show this shot, absolutely stellar start to the day. light of day now popping over the kutztown area middle school horizon with the silo off in the distance, love this shot, 35 degrees, barely noticeable breeze out there. and i can't believe it is already time to start breaking out our health report here, so mild, heat index is not a

concern whatsoever. uv index is moderate. we take a look at the pollen levels, those are still nice and low for you out there. air quality particularly for small particle solution is also moderate here today. so, things like smoke, you ma notice little more, but really only puts problem for people very sensitive to. that will talk about the winter warmth. highlight of the forecast coming up here, will common thursday when the record to beat is 69. we think we're at least going to hit 71. there is chance we have to up this value as it may even get warmer than this. but we will stick to what we had said from yesterday. 71 degrees, your president's day also looking real nice even though it is cooler, 57 still substantially above average. coolest day of the pack, tomorrow, and still above the norm. meisha? >> all right, katie, thank you so much. good morning, everyone, hammy monday. we looking at live chopper three over overturned tractor trailer in mt. laurel. past route 73, sounds like all lanes still blocked. kind of squeezing by this this kind of far right area.

i will let you know right now i would still use the alternate. 295 will be your best bet. driver was transported to the hospital. and it looks lick this truck was caring a bunch of produce. which is obviously clearly still kind of filtered all over the road here, clean up crews are out there trying it get this cleaned up for you. back outside, we say around the area, getting gaper delays driving by t they are starting to mount up behind this area. so if i were you, again, i would use that alternate 295 will be your best bet. it will be slow moving as you pass by this area. it will get slow just regardless. then we had another accident here, now since cleared, allentown road, closed completely but again that's now since cleared. another one cleared 295 south before route 130, jim, rahel, over to you. >> meisha, thank you. happening today, group in doylestown bucks county will be handing out message of acceptance and included. last week the group showing up for racial justice came together to create special heart shaped flyers. this is all in response to the distribution of kkk recruitment flyers in the

canucks three to two. >> fly guys now two-point back from the final playoff spot. >> all right, 63:00; let's get out to katie. a lot of people waking up this morning wondering if we'll have more of the same from this weekend? >> looks like eventually yes. that is the case, guys, but for now, what you will find is just a little bit after cooler day on tap. it is still above average. our president's day actually looks real nice for late february standards, if you were outside perhaps in short and t-shirt yesterday, you won't be today. i would recommend at least a light jacket. and then certainly some longer pant, as opposed to the shorter ones, but still going to end up nice, bright and sunny out, there avenue feeling we will see a lot of people out with extra long dog walks on the minds and also maybe some extra running in for good measure here. 44 degrees the current temperature at the airport, upper 30s for millville to ac to at wildwood as well. so it is definitely a cool start to the day. by comparison to yesterday, this same time, we are almost i would say from ten, 15, even locally as high as upward of

20 degrees cooler by comparison to this same time. but, as the day progresses we expect to rebound nicely here, right now, pretty much hitting the lowest point we will throughout the early morning, and now that the sun's about ready to rise, we should climb with no problems to the mid and up ear's from philly down to the shore points, up in the mountains, 45 degrees, at best. now, meanwhile, in the what happens with our very minor roller coaster that's going to take place, every single day, even tomorrow, as the coolest, is going to remain above average. normal high is 45 degrees. but again, with the warmth that was in place through the weekend, you will need some serious cold to knock that back. so it looks like chance for that at some point in the seven day. i'll let you know when a little later on. >> thank you, katie, and thank you for the sunshine. good morning, everyone, happy monday, happy president's day to you. outside the taillights near girard, looking at the schuylkill right now. this is kind of good look what the congestion levels look like basically anywhere you lookment kind of like.

>> this everyone for the most part driving around, traveling around at posted speeds. which is goodment maybe a lot of people taking the day off today. helping out little bit. ninety-five south at cottman, push toward center city, no problems whatsoever. in fact, traffic levels right there are looking very light. casino of the same story here at the vine, vine was not closed to overnight construction, you can see both moving in the westbound and eastbound direction, looking really good. maybe couple every break lights as you jump to the schuylkill. overall that's what we would want to see specially on holiday. then we have been dealing with this overturned tractor trailer in mt. laurel. new jersey turnpike northbound past route 73, that right lane now is open. i would still recommend quite possibly using the alternate 295 as it is getting very busy around there, slow with gaper delay as you drive by that tractor-trailer as well. driver was injured, transported to the hospital. like i said, all lanes were closed now one lane is block. but that alternate is still an option for you. plus we had some construction, morrisville bridge southbound one toll lane blocked. that's going to be blocked until 2:00 p.m.

jim, over to you. >> thank you, meisha. developing right now, philadelphia police are on manhunt for two men who broke into a home and tied up the home owner. >> investigators tis not a random act of violence, "eyewitness news" reporter trang do live in juniata park to bring us to up date this morning, actually loose like we just lost trang, hopefully we can get back to her. >> bill of technical problem. moving on here. >> we will go to the next story. >> a pilot is in stable condition this morning after a frightening plane crash in bayonne, new jersey there is happened yesterday morning outside of new york city. plane crashed a few cars before landing upside down. a piece of the plane landed at nearby gas station just near gas pumps. rest of the plane nearly grazed the gas station's cannon. >> i rahel, the faa also investigating another small care be this one in montgomery county. cessna 180 aircraft lost control during take off. made a hard landing at butter valley golf port in east hanover township. the force of the crash cracked the plane in two. amazingly the pilot and three other on boardwalk away
