"eyewitness news" in ocean city to daze take a look at the sand, the water, and not too bad of a day, to spend outside on the beach. some ventured in the ocean, others were content to soak up the warmth of the boardwalk s. >> we came down for the daze just to see 71 degrees in february which never happens, and a lot of people out here. really nice. water is very blue. usually it is gray in the summer. it is just gorgeous here today >> there was a common theme among everyone in ocean city and that was enjoy this while it lasts, meteorologist kate bilo is enjoying it while it last, she's soaking up sunshine enjoying this unusual weather on the cbs-3 sky deck this afternoon, kate. >> reporter: it ace macing out here. i do remember a daze like this back in september and i said, this is kind of daze you want to stick in the back pocket and pull out in the middle of february. it looks like we have done just that. temperatures in the 70's here in february is unheard of.

we have new records here today lets look at temperatures right now, heading out for your friday night nice night, to fire up the grill, throw burgers on. 70 degrees right now still in philadelphia 71 reading. seventy-three in allentown. north and western suburbs got warmer then south and east suburbs thanks to the wind off cooler ocean water. kept us in the 60's on the coast but new records to tell you about. philadelphia we officially tied previous record, got to 74 degrees today. mount pocono just absolutely demolished record of 60. they got to 67 in the mountains. redding with a high of 77. allentown, 77 degrees, in february. that is a new record day there and that is more than 30 degrees above average in the lehigh valley. so what to expect for rest of tonight? this is night to sit outside. last night a lot of people in the city were sitting outside in bars, restaurants. tonight those spots will be packed prime sidewalk seating tonight. area of fog overnight. tomorrow still warm but if you make outdoor plans you will

want to stay tuned for full forecast because we will time out gusty thunderstorms that could impact plans you have for weekend and will usher in a cool down. for now back inside to you. >> kate, thanks very much. see new a bit. massive data breach may have exposed millions of americans to cyber thieves. breach affect cyber security company, cloudflare, it manages data for millions of websites including fitbit and uber. >> last week cyber security company cloudflare suffered a software bug for five days that potentially exposed 120,000 websites to hackers. >> what exactly was out there for five days. >> everything from pass words, cookies, software keys, and private chats, own dating sites. >> reporter: adam levin says fortunately one of the good guys a google security researcher caught the data leak february 18th. >> they do not necessity how many or if any bad guys found the same bug or vulnerability, and they are exploiting it. >> reporter: in a statement

cloudflare down played the leak writing we are very grateful to our collogues at, google for contacting us about the problem and working closely with us through its resolution. all of which occurred without any reports that outside parties had identified the issue, or exploited it. leak affect websites ranging from uber, fit bit to okay cupid, the data was encrypted but not clear to what level. cloudflare blamed the issues on the introduction of the new code into its system. >> reporter: is what your advice to consumers to day if you have a pass word on any of these sites. >> my recommendation is you seriously change them to long, strong pass words. use pass word managers. i know that one was exposed but there are a lot of other ones out there. >> reporter: cloudflare repaired the problem within hours and says it worked with search engines to remove the exposed date a now several security experts have encouraged people to change their pass words but so far cloud flare has not taken that step. little likes is recalling 540,000 of its, two in one

snug and secure toddler swings the seat can break leading to the child falling. swings were manufactured between 2009 through 2014 and they were sold in stores and on line, parents who own the swing are asked to stop using it, and should contact the little tikes for a credit towards another product. fire races through a south jersey hotel, leaving two people injured, and dozens of guests displaced. while investigators sold through damage for clues into what may have sparked that overnight fire, "eyewitness news" reporter anita oh talked to guests who escaped with their lives. >> that is how guests of the ramada inn in vineland described flames that shot out of the roof around 2:00 friday morning. >> it didn't look that bad at first but then, three minutes later, the whole roof was on fire. >> reporter: and, she says what was supposed to be a fun night outside turned into a nightmare. >> i went to the store, 20 minutes, came back and there is flames coming from the top and they are right above our

rooms. our room, and everything is burned. >> reporter: fire officials say massive two alarm fire took two and a half hours to get under control and displaced 28 guests, including gloria goodbread of jacksonville, florida. >> you know, at the end of it, way too much. >> reporter: guests, we spoke to say one vineland police officer who was under observation for smoke inhalation. he reportedly started knocking on doors at the inn in the 2200 block of west landis avenue trying to get everyone to safety. >> we had occupants that were attempting to jump from the second floor unit and hanging outside the window throwing their belongings out the window. >> reporter: while it is not clear what sparked the blaze. >> basically ran from the rear of the building up to the firewall, about six units up. >> reporter: vineland's fire chief robert panini says it appears fire started in the back room and woman staying there is recovering from burns at crozer-chester medical center. crews spent the afternoon cleaning up the ruble, fire

officials say that this does not appear to be suspicious and also does not appear to be an electrical fire. at this point they are not able to determine a cause but they do believe it began on the second floor. reporting from vineland anita oh for cbs-3 "eyewitness news" we now know identity of the man injured in the hit and run in kensington last night. police say victim four three-year old victim remains in critical condition at hahnemann hospital. he was hit on the 2,000 block of east clearfield street just steps from his home. police recovered a damage silver bmw that may have been involved, a few blocks away. investigators are working to identify the car's own tore find out who was driving. the judge in bill cosby's sexual assault case ruled today that only one other accuser may testify at his upcoming trial n december, prosecutors asked for permission to call 13 accusers to show the 79 year-old comedian has a history of drug ging and molesting women. cosby is due back in court for another hearing on monday, the judge could rule on a defense

awards this weekend. seven films competing for best pictures and one movie has record number of nominations. >> cbs news correspondent chris martinaes has a behind the scenes look at how hollywood is preparing for the big show. >> reporter: hollywood is getting ready for the big night as oscar's gold takes over tinseltown. at the theater, the red carpet is ready. crews are working around the clock bracing for a possibly stormy sunday. >> fast and furious, yeah. it really is with the weather forecast this sunday we have got to be ready. >> reporter: but not even rain will dampen hollywood's brightest night with the number of acclaimed films, vying for the top categories. >> very, very, very exciting. >> reporter: with 14 nominations la la land could make hollywood history toppling titanic from its oscar thrown. >> it is the right movie at right time. >> reporter: variety magazine's tim gray says while he does not expect la la land to sweep the awards he is betting it will take home several big wins. >> i really think la la land is going to take best picture,

much as i wanted to. you wanted to be out from sun up, sundown to enjoy every second of this day, boy was it beautiful. now tomorrow is still warm but tomorrow brings us some changes. here's what it looks like on storm scan three. we have a next front moving through. what we are in is we talk about the warm sector of the storm. we have warm front up here, cold front back to the west. actual low centered over eastern canada warm sector of this storm means a southeasterly flow where we're quiet now, we have lots of sunshine and cloud cover but this front is starting to ramp up. you can see strong thunderstorms from western ohio in, to indiana and that is what will be sliding through here tomorrow afternoon, and it will put an end to this unseasonal warmth. a live look right now from the palmyra cove nature park, showing clouds and buildings, set this in motion and things looking beautiful out there we have some sun off the river. look at this february this looks like it will go down as our warmest february of all time today, warmest one just yet, our temperature departure 28 degrees above the average,

and this is insane to see this many red days in the month and you can see all of them are blue days not actually that far below the normal. very, very warm february. here comes changes. overnight, clouds will increase, we do have patchy fog developing, but we start tomorrow with clouds and stray shower but it is in the afternoon now. here's the problem. this is what worries me sometime. you see 3:00 o'clock with the sun coming out. everybody says sun comes out? lets walk on the trailer bike ride? you have to watch the sky. here comes these storms, they could get quite nasty right around four or 5:00 o'clock or even marginal risk for severe weather meaning any storms could produce gusty damaging winds, and, please keep that in mind. if you want to sneak outside make sure you have indoor location to get to so do you not get caught in the fast moving thunderstorms. seventy the high for your saturday but look at the difference, 47 on sunday, a huge drop in the mercury, colder day sunday, monday though we are back to 54, and sunday is even still 1 degree above average.

of the face the nation john dickerson with a look at the show on sunday and take on some of the things that have been happening. we just saw the president addressing cpack during which he bashed what he called the dishonest press and this is all happening as we get word that the white house barred some reporters from the daily briefing today. do you anticipate this sort of thing continuing for next four years and if so, to what end? >> i expect it to continue like clockwork, last friday, he also took on the press. it is useful for the president to have an opponent. you get out of the campaign wherever day you can point to your opponent and talk about how bad they are. when you are president you don't us have an opponent. so presidents have turned to the opponent in order to change the subject or give their supporters something to rally around. so, this president has done it faster, and more intensively then his predecessors but it is familiar. he will continue to do that particularly when there are

stories in the press that he doesn't like. any president wants to de legitimized people who are making or putting out the stories, so that perhaps they won't be believed in the future. so, i expect this will go on from now until the end of his presidency. >> so you guys have a big show coming up on sunday, what are you expecting to talk about during that hour. >> well, we have a couple of exciting guests, john bren on former cia director will be here and his first interview since leaving cia. we will talk to him about oh, my gosh the leaks, intelligence, state of intelligence and its relationship with president trump, also, the hot spots in the world from russia, north korea, middle east. so we will talk about all that and national security with him then we did a focus group last night in richmond with voters of all different stripes to get their views about the country, about the president, state of the politics, state of the media, really interesting conversation and we will have the best parts of
