4:46 am
just empty themselves out of the moisture that they are trying to hold. we will eventually end up with heavier rain later this morning. rest of the next couple hours right through our show, i think we're good. it is muggy, foggy but here's when we see that first round coming in towards tail end of the morning rush northwestern counties included with that. i don't think philadelphia is. you might see a quick shower but the morning should be fine then we should brighten up. more sunshine we get more volatile these storms can become. as early as 3:00 p.m. those storms rumbling through chester county, delco and even before the hour is over second half an hour of the 3:00 o'clock hour it is crossing the river. these are fast storms that will hit before you blink, but they will bring heavy rain very likely and also some, very gusty winds. i'm getting wrap. let me jump to the seven day, win, heavy downpours but we will hit 75 in the meantime, flirt with record territory and then temperatures drops off quickly by tomorrow, meisha. >> katie, thanks very much.

have a fair share of fire works expected throughout the day. storm scan three is showing heavy thunderstorms, downpours look to be the biggest concern that we will have out of any rain or storms here today. we will see two separate rounds. one late morning especially in the northern counties, lehigh valley, poconos region, that should be just rain but there could be embedded thunderstorms. see that batch moving into pennsylvania that is what we're expecting. then later this afternoon i would say between three as late as 7:00 o'clock from west to east, the strongest of the thunderstorms will come through here. heavy downpours, gusty winds look to be biggest concerns, cloud to ground light evening would be an issue if we get sunshine. this will be a volatile event here. tornadic activity is out of the question but that is a very low threat. that is good. seventy-five is our high. that is other big head line. we will flirt with records again today but obviously, pretty steep price. >> meisha, back over to you. when first rain comes through do you think it is
