they're upset over staffing and wages at delaware county memorial hospital. >> president trump is planning to sign a new version of the travel ban today. >> i think the american people have a right to know. >> meanwhile the white house is asking congress to look into allegations the obama administration wiretapped trump before the election. >> tensions are mounting in asia after north korea fires several balistic missiles. the pentagon says at least one of the missiles smashed into the sea of japan. >> chicago girl celebrates her birthday by helping to feed the homeless. >> it is nice to be nice to the homeless. >> she and her family hopes to make this a regular event. >> good news, she just turned six along with food the family gave out care packages and to go boxes. >> way to go. lauren there is weekend so chilly. but it seems like i heard you say earlier an improving forecast?

>> specially as we head into the afternoon hours, but still chilly this morning. you can see my breath, because of the cold temperatures, but the winds, they're not moving. so the windchill impact is not too harsh, temperatures, they're cold. you need the winter jacket specially across south jersey. current temperature in medford down into the teens, 19 degrees, down the shore, chilly temperatures, but milder spot, 34 degrees in cape may. we're at 22 degrees right now in west chester. we will have warmer air moving in across the region, as early as this afternoon. up to 52 degrees in philadelphia. sunshine to start, then afternoon clouds. as we head down the shore, 48 degrees, so little cooler. late day clouds building in. and then in the poconos partly sunny conditions, but not as cold as this past weekends, high temperature at 42 degrees, and great conditions today, to get out on the slopes. maybe have a monday off? jack frost, base 12 to 40 inches, 18 trails open, 33 trails open on blue mountain with a base at 24 to 36 inches. meisha, conditions looking good for hitting the slopes

and stoney hill road. another one that starts at 9:00 a.m. lingers out there to 3:00 p.m. and it will be out there through friday. heads up on that. then just in case you have missed it, talking about it last week, we've been talking about it today in the world of travel, so 15th street station under construction, because that far the bus stop has been relocated to 16th and market. and this is actually going to be out there through october. rahel, over to you. >> meisha, thank you. this morning, police continue investigating a double shooting in southwest philadelphia. that left a young man dead and his teenage brother in critical condition. the shooting happened at 81st and lion street, yesterday afternoon. the brothers, one, 14 years old, and the other in his 20's, were shot while sitting in this white sedan. sped away but crashed into utility pole a block away. neighbors say young people in the area need more resources. >> these children have absolutely nothing to do in the community, if you look around, there is no community center for them. these children need vocational training, they need an outlet.

>> and the 20 year old brother was pronounced dead yesterday. the family says they're confident the 14 year old will survive. jury selection will begin in chester county today for eric frein, frein accuse every shooting and killing corporate ryan dixon and wounding trooper alex douglas in pike county before leading police on 48 day manhunt back in september of 2014. the trial will include chester county injuries ores, will take place next month in pike count. >> i in other news today, president trump expected to issue revised immigration and travel ban week after it was blocked. >> this morning that's being overshadowed by his ability ooh sayings that is president obama had his telephone tapped. hena daniels in new york with the latest on the explosive claims and the investigation. hena, what can you tell us? >> good morning, guys, the white house requested congress examine whether the obama administration abused it quote executive investigative authority. the accusation came in a tweet where president trump alleged without supporting evidence that then president obama

offered a wiretap of phones in trump tower during the campaign. >> president trump assertion that former president obama bugged trump tower last year is now putting him at odds with fbi director james thome, confirm to cbs news, asked the department of justice saturday to publicly reject mr. trump's claims. saying the allegations falsely suggest the fbi broke the law. >> there was no such wiretap activity mounted against the president, the president-elect at the time, or as a candidate, or against his campaign. >> the former director every national intelligence james klapper maintains sunday the intelligence agency's supervise never wiretapped mr. trump. the president made the claim on twitter saturday. but offered no evidence to support it. >> i think he is going off of information that he is saying that has led him to believe that this is a very real potential. >> make that type of claim

without any evidence is, i think, very wreckless. >> yesterday the white house asked congress to investigate the allegations. a mid its ongoing probe into russian meddling in the 2016 election. >> we will get all of the information that we need. if that includes president trump's tax returns, then i have confidence that we will ask for that. >> spokesperson for mr. obama respond in the part neither president obama nor any white house official ever orders surveillance on any u.s. citizen. any suggestion otherwise is simply false. and attorney general jeff sessions recused himself from any trump russian investigations last week is expected to file amended testimony to the senate today. to explain why he did not disclose a meeting twice last year with russian ambassador during his confirmation hearings. jim, rahel? >> a lot of news, hen as, as we've been saying, signing the

new version every his immigration order today, what's different in this one? >> this travel ban is not expected to include iraq in the list of muslim majority countries targeted. this one also stops all roughie gee admissions to the u.s. the previous one halted syrian refugee admissions. >> well, thank you very much, hena. appreciate it. >> in other news, the tsa streamlining its pat-down methods just ahead of the busy spring bake zero break season. some say the changes resulting in more invasive screenings. >> in the past airport security workers had several pat-down methods to choose from when a passage wars selected for screening. now there is one standardized method that's described as more comprehensive. the change comes after report criticized the tsa for not protecting handguns and other weapons. >> time 5:38. in business news this morning, what federal reserve is saying about possible interest rate hike. >> the newest item on the starbucks menu, where you can get it, money watch's jill wagner joins us from the new york stock exchange, good morning, jill. >> reporter: good morning, jim

and rahel. right now futures are pointing to little bit of lower open. the markets, though, near record highs on friday, the dow jumped two points, the nasdaq rose nine. and another interest rate hike is most likely on the way. fed chair janet yelin all guaranteed a rate hike next week, barring any major changes in the economy on friday the labor department will release the february jobs report, a significant slow down in job growth could derail that planned hike. equinox could be getting into the hotel business, fitness clubs bridging in new ceo veteran from the hospitality industry, the new york post reports she'll help the company create equinox hotels, right now equinox brands include link fitness, pure yoga and starbucks going, coffee chain starting selling its cold brew coffee in mason jars. so far this is only available in singapore, the mason jar comes with black cap, which can match higher end black apron reserve coffee. jim, rahel?

kellyanne conway. louisianna democrat was lambed after he commented on a photo of conway kneeling on a couch in the oval office. he said the new jersey native, quote, look kind of familiar there in that position. richmond made the remarks at a dinner event in washington last week, and has since retracted his statement. >> the fbi will help investigate the shooting of sikh man gunman approached him in his own driveway and said go back to your own country. police in suburban seattle now investigating the violence as a hate crime. the victim said he was snot in the arm, expected to be okay, as family and friend say they want justice to be served. >> it is a hate crime. and hate crimes don't see special individual, it is for everybody. >> all every us need to get united and stand up against, to think this could happen in our community was very surprising, and extremely disappointing. >> and there are about 50,000 sikhs in washington state, and the search continues for a

didn't feel very march like, but headed into the day today we will see the temperatures on the rise with a warmer air mass building in. but it is a chilly start to the day, get ago live look, ocean city new jersey, some twilight in the scene there. a beautiful looking site. official sunrise this morning right around 6:30, and our weather watchers though up early with us before the 6:00 hour. and we appreciate that. you're out before even the sun is up. we'll check in with cbs-3 weather watchers, where temperatures generally in the teens and 20's, across the delaware valley this morning. we will will head into new jersey, 18 degrees right now as reported by our weather watch err john, clear sky conditions, in mullica hill. he has very quiet conditions as well with calm winds right now. we head north and west of the city at 17 degrees, as reported by our weather watch err eileen, in bill bert ville, pennsylvania, also has clear sky conditions, said winter like march, doesn't want to leave. hard to believe we started off the month in the 70s, then yes, eileen there is weekends

high temperatures didn't make it out of the 30's in philadelphia on saturday or yesterday, as well. we head back in jersey. 18 degrees as reported by weather watcher ed, he has clear sky conditions in chesterfield. he has some commentary this morning, cold but not windy. true for our first walk. is that 3:50 in the morning? that is an early walk, ed, good for you, maybe you have some pups to get out there. you know they work on their own schedule. storm scan3 showing us pretty quiet conditions, patchy clouds, maybe a stray random flurry across parts of lancaster county up into the poconos. otherwise we will have quiet kick off to the weekends. off to the south and west, more moisture, in association with warmfront that will be lifting through the delaware valley we head into the day tomorrow. warmfront will generate some light shower activity, then head into tuesday see the warmfront clearing, allowing to climb to the 60s, for today right around average, then we are going to see that spring
